Jeremy Night followed the person. His eyes then spotted a black car surrounded by four people.

His eyes flickered. He thought that car was Jessie Boone’s. They were going to have a conversation inside the car.

Jessie walked up to the car. One of the men opened the car door. He then entered the car and sat near the opposite window.

The door was left open. Now, Jeremy entered the car and sat near the door. The men then closed the door to let them have a private conversation.

On the other hand, the spies from various forces saw this scene. They were dumbfounded.

They didn’t expect the young master from the Boone Family to hijack the young man from the Red Moon Chamber.

It was clear that they were going to have a private conversation, which they couldn’t pry into. The spies were disappointed.

They couldn’t even go near them. The family Beast Tamers of the Boone Family had surrounded the car.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy Night was facing Jessie Boone. He had decided to be calm throughout the conversation.

He didn’t want to create an enemy for unnecessary reasons.

Jessie asked, "Did you meet Catherine at the shopping mall?"

Hearing that, Jeremy was stunned. He had thought there would be something serious. But he didn’t expect the conversation to be about her.

He then remembered the conversation these people had that day. He knew this person liked Catherine Rosewood.

Without him having to explain, his eyes glinted with an understanding.

"Yes, I met her at the shopping mall," Jeremy replied.

Hearing that, Jessie’s eyes flashed with a cold glint.

If the person had lied to him, then he would have had an outburst right now. Then he controlled his anger.

He said, "Listen, Jeremy Night. I don’t know who you are. I don’t care about your background. But I want you to stay away from Catherine Rosewood."

"If you do that, then you would face no problem. You can continue with your life. Otherwise, I don’t have to say, you can already imagine," he added.

Jeremy heard his words. He was not surprised. He had only seen this in dramas and novels. Now, it was happening to him.

He didn’t know what to say. Then he found the piercing gazes from Jessie Boone.

Jeremy then said, "Okay."

Hearing that, Jessie was stunned. He didn’t expect such a straight answer from Jeremy Night. But his eyes flashed with doubt.

Jessie still asked, "Are you telling the truth?"

His anger reduced, yet he looked at Jeremy Night with a suspicious gaze.

Jeremy could tell that the person’s hostility reduced drastically when he agreed with him. He could understand Jessie Boone’s mood right now.

He then said, "I’m telling the truth. I have no intention of meeting her. The meeting that happened at the shopping mall was purely a coincidence."

Hearing that, Jessie Boone heaved a sigh of relief. His eyebrows relaxed a lot. The worst didn’t happen. He was imagining bad things.

Jessie smiled all of a sudden and said, "Since it’s not your fault, it’s okay. You can leave now. But I hope your words were true. If not, I’m not going to be talking next time."

There was a hint of a threat in his words. To that, Jeremy smiled in response and replied, "Don’t worry. I will mind my own business."

"Okay, you can leave now," Jessie uttered.

Creak!

Jeremy then opened the door and stepped outside.

He found that Jessie’s men were looking at him. He ignored them and found the cab service nearby. He approached the driver and told him to drop him at the Red Moon Chamber.

The driver agreed. Then he entered the car and sat in the back seat.

Swoosh!

The flying car left the place. Till then, Jessie stayed in his car. When he saw Jeremy Night was gone from the place, he told the family Beast Tamers to depart.

They acted. Jessie then left the place in the car right away.

Only then did the spies of the various forces walk out from the hidden spots. Unfortunately, they didn’t know the conversation.

But Jessie Boone’s expression showed that he was satisfied. Otherwise, something would have happened.

They decided to share the news with the higher-ups. The Beast Tamers from the Rosewood Family were there as well.

They reported to the higher-ups.

Meanwhile,

Catherine Rosewood was blocked by the female guards. She didn’t know what was going on with Jeremy Night’s side.

She had been waiting for the news. Then the guards received the update. They told her the news, which shocked everyone.

They didn’t expect Young Master Jessie Boone to show up first. There were other young masters as well. But they hadn’t made any appearance.

After knowing that both of them had a private talk in Jessie Boone’s car, and that Jessie Boone left without causing any problem, she was surprised.

She knew Jessie Boone’s character. The fight would have happened normally. Yet Jessie didn’t do anything. It showed Jessie Boone succeeded in his plan.

Catherine furrowed her eyebrows. She didn’t know the content of their conversation. Which made her anxious.

She didn’t know whether she was going to have an opportunity to meet Jeremy Night again.

But she knew it was not going to happen again soon. The family was watching her. She could only stay low-key. She then returned to her room.

The guards heaved a sigh of relief. They were worried that they would be forced to take action. Seeing that the young lady had gone back to her room, they could put their hearts at ease now.

Jeremy Night returned to the organization. After paying the fare, he entered the building. Then he went straight towards his room.

A few minutes later,

After reaching the room, he freshened himself before going to bed. Today was stressful for him. If he had wanted, he could have fought against Jessie Boone.

But there was no advantage for him. Instead, he could face attacks from him and his family. The city was already filled with all types of crimes.

There was a possibility for them to target him. He still didn’t think everything was over after the conversation with Jessie Boone.

He hoped not to meet such people again.
