Head Harold Red was in his office. He was seated in his chair in a bad mood.

He had received the news about the appearance of the Tier-6 Black Scorpion along with the bad news of the members’ deaths.

He came to know that some of the members returning from the wilderness were lured into captivity, where their lives were taken by a corrupted beast.

When he heard the news, he was shocked to the core. He directly left the place and went to the city office.

Unfortunately, none of the Governors were ready to meet him. Their own situation was so dire that they didn’t have time to entertain him.

Then he came back dejected and informed Head Neil Moon of everything. When Neil Moon got to know about the news, he was pissed off as well.

The standing of their Red Moon Chamber was not good in the 5th Zone. Head Neil Moon smelled trouble.

Then he thought of someone. He had almost forgotten about the kid. He didn’t know what he was doing right now.

When he inquired about it, Head Harold had already checked the data. He knew Jeremy Night had returned a couple of hours ago, so he told Head Neil Moon.

Since the corrupted beast appeared inside the city, the city governors must be under pressure.

Head Harold agreed with his friend’s suggestion. He could only endure now. They spoke for a few more minutes before ending the call.

Head Harold was a lot more relaxed compared to before.

His gaze then fell on the report on the desk. It was a report about the casualties and missing members.

His eyes flashed with killing intent.

Jeremy Night entered the practice room for his daily practice. He turned on the switch before sitting cross-legged on the ground.

The natural energy in the room entered his body. He closed his eyes and started running the breathing method.

The natural energy followed the route of the breathing method.

The unknown beast egg inside the mental zone became active at this moment. It began to suck the natural energy in the room.

Senior Melinda was worried about Jeremy Night. She didn’t know whether Jeremy Night had returned or not.

She knew about the killings. Their members in the wilderness were being targeted. A few of them were killed as well.

She then went to the office and spoke with the staff. A staff member checked the data. He then confirmed that Jeremy Night had returned to the organization yesterday.

Melinda heaved a sigh of relief. She then returned to her team. They were not going to enter the wilderness.

Head Harold had already barred them from going to the wilderness without permission.

So, they were going to wait in the organization until the storm passed.

On the other hand, the rest of the members didn’t even have time to think about the newcomer. Their minds were filled with the sad news.

They were doubting their own future. If the same situation continued in the future, then they would have no choice other than to leave the organization.

Catherine Rosewood was following her daily schedule. She had been thinking about joining the Red Moon Chamber.

But the events following that shook her heart. She didn’t expect the illegal members to target the Red Moon Chamber members in the wilderness.

She only hoped for Jeremy Night to survive.

On the other hand, Jessie Boone heard the news. He was on cloud nine. Without him doing anything, the Red Moon Chamber organization was going on the path of weakening.

It would be a matter of time before other organizations targeted them. He could already guess the mass resigning of the members.

He then thought of Jeremy Night and didn’t take him seriously at all.

Jeremy Night was sitting on the sofa and watching the online news. He was not surprised to know that nobody knew the exact facts.

The media said that a corrupted beast broke the barrier on their own. But that was not true. He was confused about one thing.

He had clearly cut down one of the claws. The Governors must have seen the wound. Yet they didn’t further investigate it.

He frowned. He thought that the Governors were being hasty. Either they knew about the criminal organization’s activities or they didn’t want to dig deeper into this matter.

Anyways, nobody knew about his actions except one person. He didn’t know what was going on with the driver right now.
