That evening, Jeremy Night left the room. He then walked down to the lobby. When he got there, he found that the number of members was low.

He sighed inwardly. He didn’t know what the result of the organization was going to be. He still thought that the organization was weak.

He then walked out of the building and went to a cab driver. There were cars parked outside the building.

Jeremy approached the driver and told him his destination. After knowing that his goal was the Beast Taming Association, the driver agreed. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Then, he entered the car and sat down in the back seat. The middle-aged driver sat in his seat. Then he started the car.

Ten minutes later,

The car stopped in front of the Beast Taming Association. Jeremy stepped out of the car. He didn’t have to pay. The driver was one of their employees.

He then thanked him before turning towards the massive building. He came here to update his Beast Taming License. Only in that way could he officially join the team.

So far, no one had paid attention to his increase in strength. Everyone’s mind was set on the turmoil in the city.

He quickly arrived in front of the main gate. The gate opened automatically. Then he walked inside and saw a middle-aged woman seated behind the desk.

He walked up to the desk and looked towards the middle-aged woman.

The staff member raised her head and saw the young man. But when she saw the uniform, she was stunned.

How could she not know the uniform of the Red Moon Chamber?

"What do you want, young man?" she asked.

Hearing that, he told her about his purpose. After knowing that he wanted to update the license, she agreed.

She then called one of the staff. A male staff member appeared. She briefed him on everything. The male staff member then brought him to the testing room.

After entering the room, he saw a crystal resembling a rock placed on the ceiling. Underneath was a circular platform on the floor.

The male staff member was aware of the Red Moon Chamber.

But he was in the Beast Taming Association, so no one dared to cause trouble here.

"Give me your license," he said.

Hearing that, Jeremy gave him the license.

The staff accepted the license. He then scanned the license using the device.

A big screen appeared above the device. The profile information about the Beast Tamer appeared on the screen.

"Step inside the platform. The light from above will scan your strength," the staff said.

Hearing that, Jeremy nodded to him. He then stepped inside the platform.

Seeing that, the male staff nodded his head. Then he turned on the switch. The crystal rock got activated.

Boom!

A green light from above hit his head and began to scan his whole body. The next second, the information started appearing on the screen.

The staff looked at the information. The screen was split into two. The new information appeared on the left side of the screen.

The right side of the screen held the previous information. He then began to update the new information.

A few seconds later, he turned off the switch. The crystal rock dimmed.

The male staff updated the license card. He removed the card from the device. The big screen then disappeared.

The male staff then gave the license card back to the person.

"It is done," he said.

Jeremy then nodded to him before turning towards the door.

The male staff’s eyes flashed with a gleam. But he quickly covered it.

Jeremy was about to touch the knob. Suddenly, he felt something was wrong. It was fleeting, but that feeling was gone in seconds.

Creak!

He then opened the door and walked out the next second. He didn’t turn around and continued to walk towards the lobby.

He saw the middle-aged woman was there. He nodded to her before going towards the exit. He walked out of the building and slowly walked towards the cab service.

But his mind was on something else. He felt the feeling earlier was not a good feeling. Jeremy decided to test it.

Ever since he had experienced the battle with the higher-tier beast, he was not going to let down his guard again. He didn’t know whether there would be any isolated places in the city.

His gaze then fell on the roads. He entered the right road and started walking. He was wearing the Red Moon Chamber uniform.

If it were normal times, no one would have paid attention. But ever since the news about the corrupted beast came to light, the locals started paying attention to the Beast Tamers.

The people on the roadside were locals. A few of them recognized the Tier-3 strength of the Beast Tamers.

Jeremy Night found the gazes of the people. He was surprised. He found that locals were wary compared to before.

He ignored their gazes and continued to walk on the footpath. At the same time, his gaze fell on the buildings on both sides.

They were all residential buildings. In the evening time, he found fewer people standing outside.

As he continued to walk down the path, the number of people reduced. Yet he didn’t come across any problems.

"Is it my overthinking?" Jeremy thought.

He felt something wrong back at the Beast Taming Association Building. He felt someone was targeting him. That’s why he was here walking alone to lure out the people.

He decided to reach the end of the road. There were still a few hundred meters left.

Meanwhile,

Three people wearing dark uniforms and hoodies walked out of the nearby building. They then started following the target.

It didn’t take long for Jeremy to come across an empty street. It was a residential area. Only the street lamps were active on both sides of the street.

Suddenly, Jeremy felt someone was behind him. He turned around and saw three people at a distance. The three people were dressed in suspicious attire.

He raised his eyebrows in surprise. He was wondering whether his feelings were wrong or not.
