Chapter 49: Kinesis Solidification

The silver humanoid reached a height of two metres, appearing like a human at first glance, but lacking any defining parts. It only had the limbs, without any indication of a reproductive part.

The fact was blank, save for the eyes. However, a glance at the pair of eyes, and the sensation would seem similar to Torq’s gaze. It brimmed with excitement, like a child’s, ready to experience everything.

In this monochromatic space, it was absolute, now that it had been fully manifested. In an ideal situation, it would attack Torq and kill him, vying for control supremacy.

But since an ’enemy’ was within its space, it chose to target the enemy instead. That was how it was created to function, with the creator being none other than Torq himself.

The silver humanoid slightly swerved its head to stare at Narlakk Tirrferryorr. It was just a stare, but one which destroyed the other party down to its foundation.

The silver humanoid dimmed, as in an instant, every semblance of power contained within it was gathered at its eyes. And then, upon the target of its gaze, a stream of Prana empowering psychokinesis made contact.

And then, an object, shaped like a needle, flew through the stream of Prana in the blink of an eye and touched the target.

Upon contact, the cells forming Narlakk Tirrferryorr’s biological makeup came apart individually. Every memory fragment and ego forming its mind crumbled into the tiniest bits possible. And last, but not the least, the state of its soul dissipated.

The body, the mind, and the soul, were all destroyed down to the structural limits, completely erasing the existence that identified itself as Tirrferryorr.

This happened in the blink of an eye, not giving Narlakk Tirrferryorr even a second’s time to react.

A Gold Grade Pranic Beast, significantly stronger than the Narlakk faced by the Cooter Clansmen, died just like that.

For one moment, it was standing within the monochromatic space. In the next moment, the air pressure within the space increased, for the Narlakk’s body had been fully vaporised.

The silver humanoid grew dull after unleashing its attack, unable to use the same anymore. It then swerved its head towards Narlakk Nirrkarrlarr, who was considered alive now.

And without hesitation, the silver humanoid charged towards the target. Its speed wasn’t anything impressive, on par with the physical capabilities of Silver Grade Cooter Clansmen. Drained of its power, it resorted to physical attacks, starting with a stomp.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Torq sneaked behind the silver humanoid and wrapped his hands around its head. And then, twisted it for a full rotation.

The eyes of the silver humanoid curled, expressing glee upon seeing Torq’s success. Its body turned into fragments of energy and surged into Torq’s body. In a matter of seconds, it settled in his Spirit Container, granting him a new Nature.

Primary Nature–Daily Pet! 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

Secondary Nature–Kinesis Solidification!

Torq’s original build was split between the Primary Nature that maximised versatility, allowing him to come up with solutions to survive various situations, and the Secondary Nature, a trump card of pure power to be used in situations where absolute power was required.

Kinesis Solidification condenses the power of psychokinesis to the extreme, until it turns solid. This solid state grants it a universal property, wherein it could affect all forms of matter, not limited to those that can be considered a Spirit Weapon.

The solid, when it comes into contact with the target, discharges the psychokinesis in the form of a pure force that targets the body, mind, and soul, all in an instant. This instantaneous application of force obliterates most enemies, given enough of it could be accumulated.

The silver humanoid had 3600 units of Silver Grade Prana, the maximum amount available to a Pranic Beast that stood at the peak of the Silver Grade. It had condensed this entirety and unleashed it upon Narlakk Tirrferryorr, which was why the other party got vaporised instantly.

There were plenty of Gold Grade Pranic Beasts capable of tanking this attack without issues. A Narlakk, however, wasn’t one of them, especially one that had geared itself to manifest Cooter Clansmen characteristics of dominating fluids.

’Had it manifested the characteristics of Mammoth Clansmen instead, it would have survived that attack.’ Torq thought casually, ’However, it wouldn’t matter even in that case, since the attack obliterated its Spirit Container specifically.’

When the Nature of Kinesis Solidification is used a bit strategically, its effectiveness increases by magnitudes, guaranteeing the chances of a successful annihilation of the target.

’If I could help it, I didn’t wish to get this Nature this early.’ Torq sighed, aware of the influence issues he would have to face next. ’Well, I’ll focus on it later.’

"But first," He eyed the conscious figure of Runthral nearby, "How was it?"

"..." Runthral was at a loss for words. He wanted to say something, but found his eyes getting drawn towards an object hovering at the spot where Narlakk Tirrferryorr was standing upon before, "What the heck is that?"

It was an item resembling a peacock’s feather, with a rounder, fatter eye in the centre. Sharp barbs ran across the length of its quill, with dancing barbules interlocking to form hexagonal patterns.

A faint pillar of light radiated off it, the girth spanning its length, and the pillar’s height reaching a bit over a metre. The pillar of light emanated a presence capable of drawing in the attention of others.

Runthral was dazed for a moment before managed to recover his bearings. He frowned upon eyeing the target, "Is that a Minor Treasure?"

"No," Torq shook his head, "However, its functions are pretty similar."

"It’s this object that empowered the Narlakk to be significantly stronger than the one you faced." Torq explained and approached the feather, "Irrespective of what grade they have, once they fuse with this feather, they’ll be able to unleash power on par with an Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beast."

"How can something like that exist?" Runthral frowned, "It doesn’t make sense. Nothing I’ve learnt to date explains the possibility of the existence of such an item. If it’s a Treasure, then I can understand."

"Suddenly, you’ve become talkative." Torq clicked his tongue, "Consider this item to be on part with a Minor Treasure. Then it’ll make sense. And any existence that fuses with it will indeed gain the level of power I mentioned."

"However," He shook his head, "That will also influence them into becoming obedient puppets of our enemy."

"Our enemy?" Runthral expressed his confusion, "Who is that? The Nirclicks?"

"As if," Torq rolled his eyes, "Sumatra has been through multiple Invasions. The Nirclick Invasion is just the most recent of them."

"The enemy I mentioned is someone who far outscales us in power." Torq stepped back in a hurry upon noticing he has been subconsciously walking towards the feather, "It’s someone that can casually destroy Sumatra’s strongest existences."

"W-Who is that?" Runthral felt a shortage of breath just from hearing the explanation, feeling his head spin, "Is it even stronger than our Blessed Race?"

"The difference between the two is comical." Torq expressed helplessly, "It’s like an ant facing the biggest and strongest titan to ever exist."

"That’s the type of existence Nusantara’s Celestial is."
