Chapter 50: Deity Form

The monochromatic space was still being maintained, which was a a cheatful way of being in a space where time seemed to stop externally.

This space was created as a condition for Torq to attain his Secondary Nature. However, since the creator was Sumatra itself, Torq could freely take complete advantage of the place.

He had already obtained his Secondary Nature, which was the condition to deactivate the monochromatic space. But the clause was for him to recognise that he had obtained the Nature.

Basically, by remaining stubborn, he could get some free time for himself where he could take a breather and prepare for his next course of action. It was a one-time cheat available to him, which he could no longer take advantage of following this event.

"What’s the plan now?" Runthral asked as he munched on the corpses of a few Nirclicks within the monochromatic space, using which he was slowly recovering his Prana. And once Prana trickled into his Spirit Container, his arms began to heal.

"Are you not afraid of me anymore?" Torq taunted, "Where’s your fear?"

"What’s the use of fear?" Runthral sighed as he stared at the Cooter Clan corpses nearby, "So many of our people died today. If embracing fear would have prevented it, I would have done it already."

"And," He stared at Torq, "If you wanted to kill me, you simply could have avoided taking action."

"I still fail to grasp how you’ve come to wield such power, but I’m not one to complain," Runthral clicked his tongue, "At least, not here."

He stared at the five corpses of Vice Captain Quoquo, "Whining here would be disrespectful to their sacrifices."

"Then pile them up in a corner." Torq then pointed at the Nirclick corpses, "There are things to be done here."

He wasn’t concerned about Narlakk Nirrkarrlarr ambushing them, for the other party had just been revived. The Narlakk didn’t have any power at the moment.

Torq intended to hand over the Narlakk to the Cooter Clan. It was a valuable test subject that the Cooter Clan could study to analyse and figure out the biology of the Narlakk, ’And if they are able to develop some Skills to sense these Pranic Beasts better, then it’ll be perfect.’

Torq too could do that, given his capability. However, he would have to spend significant time in research, ’It’s a waste of my time, since the Cooter Clan has people more competent than me in this regard.’

’There’s also him.’ Torq thought about his old friend, ’If it’s him, he could immediately figure out countless solutions.’

’But I’ll have to head to the Rumtara Kingdom to meet him.’ The time wasn’t ripe yet, since he still had plenty to do before that, with one of them being to swap out his existing Spirit Pool for the one he desired to obtain.

Only with enough strength could he even make the journey. After all, despite obtaining a Silver Grade Secondary Nature, his actual body was still at the Iron Grade, possessing Iron Grade Prana.

A minimum of Silver Grade strength was necessary before he could roam Sumatra.

Captain Trotro was still unconscious, purposefully maintained as such by Torq. He only intended to reveal his abilities to individual from whom he could benefit, such as Runthral, and his father, Raurau.

Captain Trotro wasn’t part of the list.

While Runthral collected the corpses of the Cooter Clansmen, Torq went around collecting Nirclick corpses. And then, he fed them to the unconscious Narlakk Nirrkarrlarr.

As a Gold Grade Pranic Beast, the Narlakk’s digestion capacity far outclassed Torq’s and even Runthral, at the moment. Of course, Runthral’s capabilities would far exceed that level in the future, the closer he got to maturity.

Since the Narlakk was in its humanoid form, and maintained physical characteristics of Cooter Clansmen, it was extremely convenient for Torq. He simply ground the corpses of the Nirclicks into a mush and extracted blood from it, rich with all nutrients.

He fed that supply to the Narlakk, allowing Prana to be generated in the other party’s body. And the moment traces of Prana appeared in its body, Torq extracted its blood and refined it into medicine, which he consumed.

The efficiency was extremely rich, since it was made using blood rich with Gold Grade Prana.

In a couple hours, Torq had stuffed himself full, feeling a steady stream of Prana funnelling into his Spirit Container. Once the Spirit Container was close to the brim, he placed his palm on the Narlakk’s face.

And with expert casualness, he perfectly ripped off the other party’s skin. Since there was enough, he didn’t stop at the facial skin alone and instead proceeded to rip out the entirety of the layer of epidermis covering the Narlakk’s body.

This allowed him to conserve his Prana expenditure for the upcoming task. For the time being, he patiently waited while collecting more and more medicine using the Narlakk. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Runthral was done with his work by now, silently observing Torq’s actions. He didn’t interject or ask questions, observing everything in silence.

Unlike at the Academy of Accumulation where he was the strongest existence around, reality had changed now that he had entered the real world. ’Had I been stronger, most of the deaths could have been prevented.’

He walked to the edge of the monochromatic space and placed his hand on the barrier that separated him from the rest of Sumatra. He peered out, noticing the world outside seemed frozen, "How long can this be maintained?"

"That depends on Sumatra." Torq replied, "However, I’m merely abusing a certain condition to maintain this. The moment my concentration slips for an instant, this space will vanish."

"Also," He thought for a moment and decided otherwise, ’Sumatra is consuming a tremendous amount of power to achieve this. So, I have to make this worth it.’

"Okay, this should be enough." After many more hours had passed, Torq got up once the area had been cleared of all Nirclick corpses. He had gathered as much medicine as possible.

Primary Nature–Daily Pet!

He brought out his Empyrean Snapper Pet, stunning Runthral. "Don’t ask any questions, for now."

Runthral was horrified to see another figure of himself standing beside Torq. He wanted to ask questions. However, he had already suffered defeat under Torq’s hands. And this time, he was saved by the other party.

So, he decided to shut up and remain silent.

The Empyrean Snapper Pet, bearing Runthral’s appearance, let go of its human form. Its body curled into the shape of an egg that elongated into an enclosed turtle shell.

The shell grew in size, until the surface area encompassed by its back along reached 16 square metres. And then, a ten-metre-long neck sprouted out from the hole at the front while the legs followed suit from their respective spots along the sides.

Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beast–Empyrean Snapper!

The Empyrean Snapper Pet had assumed its Deity form, finally becoming a full-fledged Pranic Beast.

Torq didn’t have to struggle drinking the medicine, for that was inefficient. Instead, the medicine formed a stream and entered the Empyrean Snapper Pet’s mouth.

It drank all the medicine casually, and promptly began generating Prana at a rapid pace. Now, it could rely on its own reserves to use its ability, instead of pulling it from Torq’s reserves, which was a paltry sum, being Iron Grade Prana.

Torq moved the Empyrean Snapper Pet towards the hovering quill, inhaling a deep breath, "This is how I’ll be screwing your Continent."

With that, the Empyrean Snapper Pet’s head stretched out and clamped upon the hovering quill, swallowing it a moment later.
