Summoner Online: I Became the Tutorial Boss with a 999+ Villainess-Chapter 91: How to fight a dragon.
Inside the dark, dusty confines of an abandoned warehouse on the edge of the Commercial District, the sound of chaos outside was muffled but still terrifying.
Leo held Sophia close, both of them crouched behind a stack of wooden crates.
The ground shook violently every few seconds, dust falling from the ceiling rafters onto their hair.
"We will be okay," Leo whispered, though his voice trembled. "The guards will handle it. We just have to stay quiet."
Sophia nodded, tears streaming down her face, burying her head into his chest.
In a time like this, even though she was right next to Leo and he was comforting her, she could not help but think about Lord Kai. If he were here, surely this nightmare would end.
Suddenly, the roof of the warehouse groaned.
A massive chunk of stone, dislodged by a dragon crashing nearby, smashed through the ceiling, falling directly towards them.
Leo’s eyes widened.
He moved to cover Sophia, knowing his body wouldn’t be enough to stop the crushing weight.
Slash!
From the darkness of the corners, a shadow moved. It wasn’t a trick of the light. A figure materialized instantly—pale skin, red eyes, and dressed in a dark butler’s uniform.
With a single, casual swipe of his hand, the vampire sliced the massive stone boulder into pebbles before it could touch them.
Leo blinked, stunned.
"Who... who are you?"
The vampire didn’t answer.
He simply bowed slightly, then melted back into the shadows as three more figures appeared by the windows, silently pushing out any other stray monsters that could prove harmful to the building.
Leo didn’t understand what was happening, but he knew one thing. Someone powerful was watching over them.
...
Meanwhile, in the center of the city plaza, the real show had begun.
The Green Dragon, having finished melting the guild, turned its attention to the fleeing civilians. Its reptilian eyes locked onto an elderly woman who had tripped over a fallen cart. She couldn’t get up.
The beast roared, opening its massive jaws to snap her in half.
The woman screamed, shielding her face with her frail arms.
The dragon lunged—
Bam!
The sound was like a cannon firing.
The dragon’s head didn’t reach the woman.
Instead, it was violently slammed into the cobblestone pavement, cracking the earth in a spiderweb pattern for ten meters.
Standing on top of the dragon’s snout, with one hand casually pressing the beast’s head into the dirt, was a man in his adventurer attire.
Aron looked down at the struggling monster, his eyes cold behind his mask.
"Down, boy," he said calmly. "You are making a mess."
The dragon roared in confusion and rage. It tried to lift its head, thrashing its neck with enough force to topple a building.
But Aron didn’t budge. He stood there like an immovable statue.
Realizing it couldn’t lift him, the dragon whipped its massive tail around, aiming to crush this insect.
Kai saw it coming. He didn’t intend to dodge such a weak attack.
Bang!
The tail slammed into his side.
The force was immense. It sent Kai sliding sideways across the pavement, his shoes carving deep grooves into the stone. But he didn’t fall; nor did he lose his balance.
He stopped, dusted off his clothes, and tilted his head.
"Is that all? I expected more from a Calamity class monster."
The other three dragons—Red, Earth, and Wind—stopped their destruction. They sensed it instantly. The aura coming from this tiny human was dangerous.
They turned as one, abandoning the buildings to focus on the new threat.
The Red Dragon unleashed a torrent of fire.
The Wind Dragon sent blades of air.
And then Earth Dragon charged forward with full speed, leaving one more behind they was still intent on hurting the other humans.
Kai cracked his neck.
"Come."
He vanished.
He reappeared in front of the Red Dragon, driving a fist directly into its lower jaw.
Crunch.
The sound of bone shattering echoed through the plaza. The massive beast was lifted off its feet by the uppercut, its jaw hanging loose.
Kai didn’t stop. He grabbed the Earth Dragon by its horns as it tried to ram him. Using the dragon’s own momentum, he spun around and threw the multi-ton beast into the Wind Dragon.
The two collided in a tangle of limbs and wings, crashing into the ruins of the clock tower.
As the fight went on, the blue dragon finally decided to join it, launching itself forward, straight at Aron’s position.
...
Inside the Nameless Dungeon, the atmosphere in the Throne Room was heavy.
A large magical screen floated in the air, projecting Kai’s vision for his subordinates to see.
"As expected of my Lord," Lyra whispered, clutching her chest. Her face was flushed with pride. "Even without his true form, he dominates them effortlessly."
Next to her, Carlotta was biting her lip, her legs pressed tight together. She watched Kai tear the wing off the Green Dragon with her eyes wide and dilated.
In truth, she had wanted to see if she could go out there and assist him, but seeing the battle play out, she would much rather watch than act.
"That power... aww, my Lord truly is amazing, isn’t he?" she moaned softly. "I want him to do that to me."
Of course, everyone was used to her being freaky; as such, no one paid too much attention to it.
But further back, Fanny and Phera watched in silence.
Fanny, being a True Dragon herself, knew exactly how strong those four were. They weren’t weaklings. They were Level 350 monsters.
"To handle them like toys..." Fanny muttered, a bead of sweat rolling down her forehead. "Master is truly a monster among monsters."
...
Back in the plaza, the fight was coming to an end.
The dragons were terrified. They realized too late that the man they had been battling with for close to an hour was no prey like the humans they had killed in a fit of rage.
No, this man was a monster, far deadlier than they were.
The Wind Dragon, the last one standing, screeched in fear and flapped its remaining wing, trying to ascend. It wanted to run. It wanted to get as far away from this man as possible.
"Oh no, you don’t," Kai said with a grin etched on his face.
He leaped into the air, grabbing the dragon’s tail.
"Get down here!"
With a heave of inhuman strength, he swung the dragon down like a whip.
Crash!
The dragon slammed onto the pile of its defeated brethren. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
Then, with a powerful clash, Kai landed on the dragon’s head, his feet crashing inside as blood immediately spewed out from the impact.
Silence fell over the plaza.
The dust slowly settled, revealing a gruesome sight.
The four dragons were stacked on top of one another, broken, bleeding, and dead.
Their massive bodies formed a grotesque hill of scales and flesh.
And sitting right at the very top, resting on the head of the Red Dragon like it was a throne, was Aron.
He sat with both his feet on the dragons, casually massaging his wrist as if he had just finished a light workout.
Blue system windows popped up in front of his eyes.

’Bascially, i probably will only get the rest of the features when i make contract with dragons or so on.’
Kai smirked beneath his mask.
’Perfect. I didn’t come here to play hero. I came for this. Titles like this are rare, and the stat boost is permanent.’
The only reason he was able to control the dungeon as he could was because he had the title of the Shadow of Victims. But with this new title, there was no telling what heights he could obtain.
He never really cared about the humans who were dying under the murder spree of the dragons. His main goal was to get this very title.
It was knowledge he had known from the game, even though he never really got the chance to try it out until now.
He dismissed the window and looked down.
Slowly, the civilians who had been hiding in the rubble began to poke their heads out. The guards who had stopped running turned back.
They saw the mountain of dragon corpses before they saw the man who was seated calmly on top of it, looking down at them as though they were ants not worth his time.
If a single person had witnessed this, others would have called that very person a liar and told them they were hallucinating.
But everyone saw it.
Aron had killed four mighty dragons by himself.
"He... he killed them?" someone whispered.
"He killed them all!"
"Hero! The hero killed them all!!!"
"Hero!!! Hero!!!"
A cheer erupted. It started small but quickly grew into a roar that rivaled the dragons themselves. People were crying, hugging each other, and chanting his name.
’Hero?’ Kai smirked beneath his mask. ’Hero... not a bad thing to be called alongside a dragon slayer. No complaints here, hehe.’
High up in the ruined Duke’s mansion, Eloit Von Lancer watched through the shattered remains of his window.
He was trembling. His knees gave out, and he collapsed to the floor.
He watched the man on the pile of corpses, and for the first time since coming to this world, the Duke felt true fear.
"What is he...?" Eloit whispered, his voice cracking. "That’s not even a Player... what sort of monster did I allow to walk into my city!!!"
