Super Invincible Battleship-Chapter 323 - 172: Sneaking in on a Rainy Night_2
Chapter 323: Chapter 172: Sneaking in on a Rainy Night_2
Although few people pay attention to the architecture beneath the Louvre Museum, detailed records of it still exist in history, along with some technology channel programs that have explored the underground palace, all of which provided Yan Fei with material that helped him find enough useful information. After the collection and organization by the Auxiliary Brain, he was able to deduce a complete 3D Map of these underground structures with the scant information he had.
The abandoned passage Yan Fei found was leading to the underground buildings of the Louvre Museum; it was the museum’s earliest drainage pipe, which was abandoned after the Louvre had its drainage system redesigned and updated.
If Yan Fei could confirm the exact location of the rusty disc, he would have directly deployed the drone, used its onboard missiles to blast the Louvre Museum open, and then seized the item by force. However, although Yan Fei had seen the target being brought into the Louvre during the daytime, he didn’t know exactly where it was hidden. With the vast area of the Louvre and the numerous galleries, Yan Fei couldn’t calculate the target’s location for the time being, at most he could only know the target’s approximate location.
Therefore, it was out of the question for Yan Fei to recklessly use the drones for a bombing spree which could turn the Louvre into ruins. After such an incident, the secrets of the rusty disc would surely be discovered by French authorities, who would definitely secure the target, making it impossible for Yan Fei to ever get his hands on it.
Without knowing the precise location of the target, Yan Fei couldn’t directly launch a drone attack. The only option Yan Fei had was to personally infiltrate the Louvre Museum, determine the target’s location inside, and then forcefully seize it with his martial force before returning the same way he came in and escaping the area with the help of a drone — a crude method, but one well-suited to Yan Fei because of his superhuman abilities and his strong Drone Avatar. Once the target location was confirmed, even if faced with formidable resistance, as long as the Drone Avatar took action with its powerful martial force, he would surely succeed in today’s mission.

The drone lurked at the bottom of the Seine River. When Yan Fei opened the cockpit door of the Drone Cockpit, he found a soft white light appearing at the entrance, which kept the river water outside, preventing it from flowing into the Drone Cockpit. Yan Fei took out a set of diving gear and an Oxygen Tank from Universal Space and quickly changed into the diving suit inside the cockpit, strapping the Oxygen Tank to his back and placing the respirator in his mouth. He exerted force with his legs and his body passed through the white light into the river water.
At that moment, the Seine River, due to the thunderstorm, had become raging and wild; turbulent waves topped its surface, the water level surged, and undercurrents swirled beneath. If it were an ordinary person, they would have been swept away by the water upon entering. But Yan Fei was no ordinary person; he was strong and swam against the rapid current at the bottom of the river, his speed almost as fast as an ordinary person running on land.
After swimming over fifty meters underwater, Yan Fei arrived beside a river wall. There, he found a fence with a dark, round tunnel behind it, the destination unknown. Yan Fei grasped the fence, and with a bit of force, he easily bent the middle bars, creating a large hole. Yan Fei then wriggled through into what turned out to be a narrow stone-built round drainage tunnel, roughly a meter in diameter, which didn’t hamper Yan Fei’s movement inside.
With an Oxygen Tank on his back, Yan Fei quickly swam through the drainage tunnel, and after a hundred or so meters, the tunnel rose upwards, which he followed. When he reached the end of the drainage tunnel, Yan Fei found another iron fence at the exit. He applied the same method, bending the bars to create another large hole, and then swam out from the drainage passage.
After swimming forward another twenty or so meters, Yan Fei surfaced, arriving at the end of the drainage channel. However, it was pitch black around him; he couldn’t see anything, and even with his incredible vision, everything looked blurry. Luckily, Yan Fei had brought a small flashlight. Turning it on, he found a rusty, iron door at the end; it was unclear how many years it had been there. Yan Fei gave it a light push, and the door fell to the ground with a “bang,” startling him. But it was clear this was an Enclosed Space; the sound echoed dully and was not discovered by others.
Yan Fei quickly changed out of the diving suit, removed the Oxygen Tank, and stored everything in Universal Space. Although this was an Enclosed Space, it wasn’t completely sealed off; there was still air circulation inside, allowing one to breathe.
Yan Fei continued forward, flashlight in hand. This drainage channel was originally used to drain water from the Louvre Museum to the Seine River, but now it had no flowing water, just a large number of rats that scurried away at Yan Fei’s approach. After the pipeline renovation of the Louvre Museum, this drainage channel was abandoned, and for safety reasons, the entrance was sealed with a giant stone to prevent access. What those people neglected at the time was the entrance and exit of the drainage channel in the middle of the Seine River, which allowed Yan Fei to swim through this channel and enter.
As Yan Fei walked here, sending the rats scurrying that occasionally appeared in front, a 3D map materialized in his mind, with a green point continuously moving at the center, representing Yan Fei himself. The Auxiliary Brain could locate Yan Fei’s position by measuring the changes in direction and distance between the drone and Yan Fei, then displaying the real-time location on the 3D map. Relying on this 3D map of the Louvre Museum, Yan Fei moved forward with great convenience, never at risk of getting lost.
After walking underground for a minute, Yan Fei found the drainage channel blocked by a massive stone. On the 3D map, he discovered this was actually the passage to the Louvre Museum that had been sealed. Once inside this passage, one would enter the underground palace of the Louvre Museum. The blocked passage, however, was filled with giant stones and mud, with each stone weighing thousands of pounds, making it impossible for ordinary people to move them, which was why no one had entered the Louvre Museum through this route for many years.
Yet, what was an insurmountable obstacle for ordinary people didn’t pose a challenge to Yan Fei. He walked up to a massive stone, placed his hand upon it, and the stone vanished, having been stored into the Universal Space. As the giant stone was removed, mounds of mud and sand tumbled down, revealing a vast space. He moved forward, pressing his hand onto another massive stone, and storing it into the Universal Space, revealing yet another vast space ahead.
In this manner, Yan Fei proceeded along the swiftly cleared path. Soon, his Universal Space was filled with giant stones, but the passage ahead wasn’t entirely clear yet. So, Yan Fei backed away from the passage and came out to the drainage channel, retrieving the giant stones from the Universal Space and placing them in the channel. However, to ensure easy entry and exit, he didn’t block his own entryway with the stones. Instead, he left enough space to pass through. Yan Fei controlled the height from which the stones fell, so when he took them out, they made no noise, curbing the risk of exposing himself.
By continually transporting the stones, Yan Fei moved forward for fifty meters and finally cleared the abandoned drainage channel, making his way inside the Louvre Museum. Once inside, he put the last stone back into place, resealing the passage from the entrance, preventing others from noticing anything unusual.
Once here, it fell within the perimeter of the Louvre Museum; a faint light became visible. Yan Fei could now see the path inside more clearly just with the help of this dim light, so he stored the flashlight in the Universal Space and carefully moved along the passage. After walking tens of meters, he encountered several different passages ahead.
The Auxiliary Brain’s 3D map marked the various entrances and destinations of the passages here, and only one led inside the Louvre Museum. At the end of this passage, there stood a brand new door. The door was closed, with two surveillance cameras on the side. Under dim lighting, the two cameras rotated left and right, clearly under someone’s watchful eye from inside.
