SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS-Chapter 749: What’s the Point?!
The spirit world trembled with a silent call.
Each of the thirty-two demigods, residing in their respective divine palaces across the vast expanse of the Spirit World, simultaneously received the urgent summons from the War God.
A golden decree, inscribed on divine parchment, materialized before each of them, carrying the undeniable weight of authority. The words written in celestial fire read:
"The fate of the Nine Realms is at a crossroads. A gathering of all demigods is mandated in my throne room immediately. Absence shall be considered as an act of defiance."
Some of the demigods, those who had long sided with the War God, immediately made preparations to leave. Others, who had pledged allegiance to the Space God, hesitated.
Inside his grand Mystic hall, the Space God held the decree in his hands, his eyes narrowing with disdain. He scoffed, flicking the parchment aside. "So, the War God finally realized my hand in this game," he muttered to himself, a smirk playing on his lips. "He wants to halt my influence? I'd like to see him try."
Behind him, several demigods loyal to him appeared, their expressions heavy with concern. The God of Wind, the God of Fire, the God of Weapons, and the Goddess of Shadows all stood in a semicircle, awaiting his response.
"The War God is up to something," the God of Wind finally spoke, his voice carrying the unease of the heavens. "He wouldn't call all thirty-two of us unless it was dire."
The Space God exhaled sharply and crossed his arms. "We already know why. He wants to stop me from assisting the demons. He fears what I might do."
The Goddess of Shadows chuckled darkly. "And he should. Without your abilities, the demons cannot reach the Nine Realms. He is desperate. This meeting is nothing more than a last attempt to block your influence."
The God of Fire clenched his fists, his flaming aura flickering wildly. "Should we attend?"
The Space God smirked. "We will, of course. But only to watch. We will let him beg and rant. We will not interfere just yet. The real battle is still far ahead."
Meanwhile, in the Palace of Storms, the Storm God wasted no time.
He read the summons once, then immediately turned to his most trusted knight, Storm Knight Raiko. "Prepare my divine chariot. Gather my personal guards. We leave immediately."
Raiko, a towering warrior clad in gleaming armor imbued with lightning, saluted with a firm nod. "At once, my lord."
As Raiko vanished into a bolt of electricity, the Storm God turned his gaze towards the horizon. His eyes burned with curiosity. "The War God must have uncovered something serious… something beyond the political struggles of the demigods. If this concerns the calamity, then I must see it with my own eyes."

Across the Spirit World, one by one, the demigods prepared to heed the War God's call. Some eagerly. Some reluctantly. Some with hidden motives.

Beyond the realms of time and space, where only the ancient gods tread, the Fate God stood before a simple thatched treehouse. The home of the Three-Phased God was unlike any other divine palace; it was neither grand nor adorned with celestial wonders. It was humble, untouched by time, standing alone beneath the vast cosmic sky.
The Three-Phased God sat outside, watching the stars weave their endless patterns. When he saw the Fate God approaching, he sighed. "Why do you look so troubled, Albino?" he asked, addressing the Fate God by his ancient name. "Is this about your son again?"
The Fate God hesitated before nodding. "It is indirectly related to him," he admitted. "The War God is close to advancing to an Old God, but first, he must overcome the calamity destined for him. You know how these things work."
The Three-Phased God nodded slowly. "So what is the problem? Every god faces their calamity before ascending. You know that better than anyone."
The Fate God stepped forward, his voice urgent. "We agreed, all seven of us, to let the calamities unfold without divine intervention. But… something else is happening. The human named Kent is calling upon you, praying for your presence in the lower realms."
The Three-Phased God sighed again. "That boy… he's persistent. I have been contemplating whether to answer him or not."
The Fate God's expression hardened. "Three Phased God, You must help him. You must answer his call."
A deep silence followed.
The Three-Phased God finally spoke, his voice heavy with wisdom. "You understand what this means, don't you? If I help Kent, it sets a precedent. The other gods will take action as well. If I interfere, the Draconic God will retaliate. A war between gods might erupt."
The Fate God stepped closer. "If you don't help him, the demons will wipe out the Nine Realms. What happens to the Spirit World then?"
The Three-Phased God clenched his fists. "You think I don't want to help? Even I must abide by the laws of fate and time. If we control everything, what is the point of destiny?"
Just as the Fate God prepared to leave, a powerful force tore through the sky. The presence was overwhelming, ancient, and suffocating.
The Draconic Old God had arrived.
His massive form loomed above them, his golden scales shimmering like an endless sun. His eyes, burning like molten lava, locked onto the Three-Phased God.
"I hope you weren't considering helping the humans, Three-Phased One," the Draconic God growled.
The Three-Phased God's expression remained calm. "I have made no decision yet."
The Draconic God's presence darkened the entire cosmos. "Good. Because if any god dares interfere with the demons, I will personally aid their cause. The balance must not be disrupted."
The Fate God's eyes widened. "You would aid the demons?"
The Draconic God laughed, the sound rumbling like a storm. "If it is the will of fate, then yes. The gods do not exist to protect the weak. We exist to maintain the balance."
The Three-Phased God's expression hardened. "So you would let the Nine Realms burn?"
"If that is their destiny."
A heavy silence followed.
The Fate God clenched his fists. "I refuse to believe that."
The Draconic God's massive wings stretched wide. "Then let us see if Kent is truly worthy of defying fate."
With that, he vanished, leaving the gods in deep contemplation.
The question remained: Would the Three-Phased God intervene?
Or was Kent truly on his own?
