Supreme BeastTamer: I Can Copy and Upgrade Skills 10x!-Chapter 607: The Golden Door
Outside of the Hollow Spire could only be described in one word.
Chaos!
BOOOOOOM!!!
The combined force of the dragons, the Remnant Eye, and the Scavengers was too overwhelming for the Broken Claw to handle alone. They were clearly outnumbered.
"Dammit!" On one of the remaining towers, a member of the Broken Claw gritted his teeth as he saw the rain of elemental attacks descending from the sky.
The Broken Claw members tried to erect a corrupted barrier to parry the furious attacks that had now literally lit up the night sky, but it was to no avail. The lightning blasts and giant balls of flame obliterated their barriers.
BOOM!
The resulting impact sent several Broken Claw warriors flying back like broken kites.
"Hahahahaha!" The Inferno Dragons laughed heartily as they saw the results of their attack.
"Kill all of them!" Valkor shouted at the top of his voice as he punched a corrupted warrior across the battlefield, sending him flying into a tree and turning it to splinters.
The Inferno Prince's entire body was cloaked in purple flames. The ground around him was scorched. The atmosphere was crushing, and the sheer anger that radiated from him made it difficult for the enemies to approach.
"Elise." He clenched his fist.
She was someone very close to his heart. For as long as he could remember, they had been friends. She had always had his back and come to his rescue whenever he was in danger.
Even if he had to tear down the sky, today, he would not leave without rescuing his best friend!
"Burn for me!" Valkor roared as he lifted his hand to the heavens, and a purple magic circle over fifty meters wide appeared.
The enemy faction watched, horror flashing through their eyes when they saw this. Their instincts screamed at them to flee and get away from that attack as fast as they could, but it was too late.
Thousands of flaming purple meteors rained out of the circle.
BOOOOM!
Upon impact with the ground, it exploded, killing over a hundred Broken Claw members. It was pure carnage. The scent of charred flesh and the screams of the corrupted warriors echoed through the air.
Ashren, who was standing on top of a rock, watched the scene with a subtle smile on his face. "It seems the heirs inherited their parents. That's good."
Behind Ashren, the Scavengers were engaged in a fight with the Broken Claw. Both sides wielded corrupted energy. Their fight wasn't flashy like that of the heirs.
It was brutal, and one had to be strong-willed to watch them.
That was the nature of corrupted energy—it wasn't fancy or elegant. It was dark and dangerous.
At that moment, Ashren stopped admiring the carnage and set his eyes on an enemy that was sneaking up on him from the side.
The enemy's eyes widened in shock when he realized he'd been caught. Moments later, his gaze burned with resolve, and he lunged forward.
With calculated, deliberate movement, Ashren stepped aside, easily dodging the attack.
"Huh." The Broken Claw member's eyes widened.
Before he could go for another attack, he felt a cold hand on his shoulder...
Then it happened.
A black mist of corruption rushed out of Ashren's palm and engulfed his opponent from head to toe.
There was no scream. No struggling...
When the mist eventually subsided, all that was left was mere dust.
"T-that..." A Water Dragon gasped when she saw the scene.
"No wonder the Monarchs saw them as a threat," she thought, feeling a sharp shiver run down her spine.
"Where is he?" Ashren narrowed his eyes as he scanned the three towers. He was looking for Garren.
So far, it seemed the distraction was working on the guards, but they were mainly the frontline fodder. The main person he wanted to draw outside was Garren himself. That way, it would be easier for Drake, Thorne, and Voron to free the girls.
Further in the distance...
Raziel, the Lightning Prince, dashed across the field, throwing bolts of lightning left and right. He was like a blur of motion—too fast for the enemies to predict and too strong to hold back.
Above them, Lumi's construct—Big Sister—hovered in the air. The glowing figure roared and slammed both fists down into a corrupted beast, flattening it in a single blow.
Lumi watched from a distance, giving orders to her construct. The little girl couldn't participate in the fight because of the injuries sustained from Garren's Black Sun attack, but her help alone was invaluable to the group!
Inside the tunnel.
Drake, Thorne, Voron, and a small unit suddenly came to a halt.
They heard voices, followed by several hurried footsteps.
"They're most likely heading to the battlefront," Voron deduced, reading the footstep patterns.
"Let's wait a little," he whispered to the others.
Several seconds passed. When everywhere was silent again, the group proceeded.
But they had barely gone a few steps before they had to pause once more as Thorne, the defector from the Broken Claw, suddenly raised a hand.
"What is it?" Drake asked, shoulders tense.
"We're close to the Hollow Maw's lair," Thorne replied with a serious expression.
Everyone tensed.
Meanwhile, on the outside...
Garren finally reached the top of the Spire and walked out onto the balcony of the northern tower. His eyes scanned the battlefield, and what he saw made his jaw tighten.
The west tower was gone. The east was under siege.
Scavengers, heirs, and even the old historians?
"This wasn't supposed to happen," he snarled.
He turned sharply. "Deploy the reserves! Kill every last one of them!"
As he screamed the order, the corrupted warriors within the tower roared and began flooding out.
Garren's eyes flashed sharply as he scanned the battlefield. It didn't take long before they settled on Ashren, who also smiled in response.
The next moment, Garren leaped down from the tower and landed a few meters away from Ashren.
"I knew this day would come," Garren's loud voice boomed through the air. "So, you finally decided to side with the outsiders."
"I don't take any side," Ashren replied calmly as he stepped forward. "I'm only doing what's right."
He paused, then stated again, "And getting rid of you will be one of the right things I'll do today."

Somewhere in the ancient forests,
The air warped and distorted. A gust of wind swept through the surroundings, raising dust and debris into the air.
Moments later, everything settled...
And a golden door appeared.
