Surprise, CEO: Those Two Kids? They're Actually Yours!-Chapter 72: Make Her Kneel to Atone for Her Sins
Raina Lowell stopped in her tracks.
After confirming once more with Madam Cole that Adrian Grant had really found her daughter, she fell to her knees without a word. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ธ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ต.๐ฌ๐ค๐ข
Besides, it was her who drove Grandpa to his death.
Now itโs time for her to atone for her sins.
"Mom."
Evelyn hurried to raise her hand to pull her mother, feeling so sorry she was about to cry.
"Mom, get up, donโt kneel, donโt listen to that bad manโs words."
At this moment, he hated Uncle Adrian even more.
Clearly such a grown-up, why did he have to bully him and his mom?
He felt so sad.
Mom was still sick.
Raina Lowell held on, enduring a splitting headache, and pushed her son away, indicating to Madam Cole:
"Madam Cole, Evelyn is also wet; could you take him for a hot bath and change his clothes?"
Madam Cole thought that since sir did not punish Evelyn, it should be okay to bring him inside.
She nodded and replied, "Alright, Iโll take him now."
Without needing to be taken, Evelyn directly dashed into the house.
Running into the living room, seeing Adrian Grant and Isabelle Everett sitting on the sofa, he rushed over angrily shouting:
"You big meanie, why do you let my mom kneel outside? Isnโt she your wife? Is this how you treat your wife?"
Donโt wait until he grows up.
Once he grows up, he will definitely not let him off.
Adrian Grant raised his eyes to look at him.
Seeing the small child with an air of premature maturity, yet his angry demeanor was both fierce and cute.
Unfortunately, this child, is someone elseโs.
Paying him no mind, Adrian Grant looked coldly at Madam Cole.
"Either throw him out for me or take him out of my sight."
Madam Cole nodded, quickly going over to grab Evelyn.
"Evelyn, donโt anger your dad, come, Iโll take you for a bath and change clothes."
Evelyn refused, glaring fiercely at Adrian Grant.
"Youโre not my dad. A man who bullies women is no good at all, Iโm telling you, let my mom get up quickly, otherwise, tonight Iโll prick you with needles."
He really wanted to go over and hit Uncle Adrian.
But Madam Cole had already scooped up his entire small body, carrying him directly upstairs.
Evelyn struggled hard, his two little legs kicking in the air, angrily shouting at the top of his lungs:
"Bad Uncle, donโt bully my mom, otherwise when I grow up, I wonโt let you off."
Adrian Grant watched the child being taken upstairs.
Thinking of the woman kneeling at the door, he indicated to Isabelle Everett:
"Itโs getting late, you should head back."
Isabelle Everett knew, once she left, Raina Lowell would naturally move back into Lowell Manor.
Maybe with time, she and Adrian Grant would reconcile as before.
If Adrian Grant were to find out that the two kids of Raina Lowell were his, then they would never separate.
She couldnโt leave.
She absolutely couldnโt let them reconcile again.
"Adrian,"
Isabelle Everett said coquettishly:
"Can I stay? I know itโs impossible between you and Raina, but I want to fight for one more chance."
She attempted to move closer to Adrian Grant, raising her hand to hold his arm, lowering her head and lamenting:
"Itโs not like my mom hasnโt set up blind dates for me, but those young masters all want virgins, and Iโm not one."
To make Adrian Grant feel guilty, she covered her face and wept.
This tactic did indeed touch Adrian Grant.
Adrian Grant had always believed that the person he had been with four years ago was Isabelle Everett.
It was he who turned Isabelle Everett from a girl into a woman.
He had to take responsibility for that.
As for the one kneeling outside.
Once she atones for Grandpaโs death, she would naturally be made to leave.
Looking at Isabelle Everett, Adrian Grantโs voice softened noticeably, "You should go rest in the guest room!"
Isabelle Everett, knowing she had succeeded, just left for now.
As long as she didnโt leave Lowell Manor, she had the means to climb into Adrian Grantโs bed again.
And make Raina Lowell watch with her own eyes.
Adrian Grant pulled open the drawer of the coffee table in front of him, taking out the divorce agreement that had long been prepared, and stood up to go out.
Striding over to Raina Lowell, he towered over her, throwing the divorce agreement at her.
"Sign it for me."
Raina Lowell, soaked from head to toe, was already unwell.
Kneeling now, her legs had gone numb, nearly losing sensation, and her head hurt.
Looking at the divorce agreement that suddenly appeared in front of her.
She knew, this was inevitable.
She and this man never had a future.
Picking up the agreement, Raina Lowell hesitated, unwilling to sign, raising her head to look at Adrian Grant.
"Howโs my daughter? Can you give her to me?"
She knew Adrian Grant was in a hurry to get divorced to be with Isabelle Everett.
She would not hold him up.
But she had to see her daughter first.
What if he didnโt give her back her daughter afterward?
"I told you to sign."
Adrian Grant was obviously impatient, avoiding her gaze, unwilling to look at her as though she were dying.
Raina Lowell insisted:
"After I see my daughter, Iโll sign, and immediately take them away, I absolutely wonโt hold you and Isabelle Everett up."
"Raina Lowell."
Adrian Grant, angry, crouched down and grabbed her neck, hating her to his core.
"What right do you have to bargain with me? Was it I who lost your daughter? Why should I give her to you."
He deliberately didnโt want to give her the child.
That child was found by someone he hired, and heโs the one paying for her treatment.
By that account, the childโs life is his now, and how he handles it is his business.
Why should he hand her over to this nauseating woman for nothing?
Raina Lowell knew that this man wouldnโt easily give her back her daughter.
She discarded the divorce agreement, stubbornly:
"If you donโt give me my daughter, I wonโt sign."
"You..."
Adrian Grantโs grip on her neck tightened even more.
He wished he could just have her dead in his hand right then.
This heartless being, alive only to vex him.
"Big meanie, let go of my mom."
Evelyn suddenly dashed out from inside, landing a high kick on Adrian Grant.
Then he clung to his arm and bit down hard.
Adrian Grant released Raina Lowell, easily lifting the child up in the air, "Little brat, believe it or not, Iโll kill you."
But Evelyn was still too small, with no strength at all.
Held aloft, he couldnโt do anything, just cursing at Adrian Grant.
"Big meanie, Iโll have the police arrest you, let me go."
Fearing to scare her son, still kneeling, Raina Lowell grabbed Adrian Grantโs pants pleadingly:
"Adrian, put him down, heโs just a child."
"Indeed, heโs just a little bastard, if he were bigger, Iโd break his mouth."
Adrian Grant showed no mercy, tossing the child aside, looking at him with malice.
"Come closer and Iโll make you an orphan forever."
Evelyn was thrown to the ground, his bottom hurting from the impact.
Raina Lowell, heart aching, hurriedly pulled him into her arms, her tearful eyes meeting Adrian Grantโs.
"If thereโs anything, come at me, why take it out on a child."
