System's POV-Chapter 827: R.I.P, Boys. You All Put Up A Good Fight
"Well, good morning, sleepy heads," Erica greeted Zion and Erica, who had appeared at the camp right after the members of the Hero Party finished eating breakfast.
"Good morning, Erica," Thirteen replied and moved to kiss the young lady’s cheek. "Good morning to you too, Sherry."
Just like what he did to Erica, Thirteen kissed Sherry’s cheek, which made the young lady drop the wooden cup that she was holding.
""Huh?!""
Erica and Sherry couldn’t help but look at Zion, finding him quite different from the usual Zion they were familiar with.
He had a genuine smile on his face, and he was oozing with a gentle aura that made the two young ladies feel their hearts beat wildly inside their chests.
"You seem… different," Mildred frowned, also finding Zion rather unusual. "You’re like… a changed person. You no longer have this cold aura that pushes people away. For some reason, I now feel strongly attracted to you."
""What?!""
Erica, Sherry, and Shana all looked at Mildred in disbelief.
The three girls then hugged Zion at the same time and glared at the Archer, as if telling her that she could look but couldn’t touch their man.
""Huh?!""
This time, it was Derek’s, Mildred’s, and Diana’s turn to be surprised.
Erica and Sherry hugging Zion was fine. Everyone knew that the two ladies were engaged to him.
However, Shana? Seeing her hug Zion as well, not to mention also glare at Mildred as if she was some kind of thieving cat, made them look at her in shock.
"Wait, Master," Derek said, not wanting to believe what he was seeing. "D-Don’t tell me, you and Shana…"
"She confessed to me," Thirteen replied in a teasing tone. "And she didn’t take no for an answer."
"What the…" Mildred gasped. "Oh my God! Did the two of you do the deed?! Is this why Zion is suddenly so suave right now?"
"No, we didn’t," Thirteen replied. "Whatever you’re thinking, we didn’t do such a thing."
He and Shana didn’t cross that last barrier because Thirteen didn’t want to do it without understanding what love really was.
Thirteen felt that it would be unfair for the ladies who genuinely love him to be given "fake love" that would only suit their physical needs.
He also believed that his current state was temporary, and soon, he would once again return to the Zion who approached everything with a calculative gaze.

"Wait, let me offer a silent prayer to Joshua, Roland, and all the guys who love Shana," Derek said, pressing his hands together. "R.I.P, Boys. You all put up a good fight."
"Shana, are you sure about this?" Diana asked.
"Yes," Shana replied. "This is what I truly feel."
"You must have been infected by the Zion Virus," Mildred, who found Shana’s ramblings about the Zion Virus in the past quite funny, decided to bring up that topic right now.
"Yes." Shana nodded. "He infected me with his virus. So, make sure you don’t get infected too."
"Just who do you think I am?" Mildred shook her head. "Zion is not my type. I prefer someone like his brother, Mikhail."
"And what makes you think that Mikhail will even look in your direction?" Derek said in disdain. "He doesn’t have bad taste."
"One more word from you, and I’m sticking another bolt in your butt," Mildred threatened.
"See?" Derek snorted. "Who would like such a crass, violent lady? You should take a page from Shasha. Zion’s sister is a graceful beauty, the treasure of humanity!"
"Shut up, you Simp!" Mildred said in disdain. "You disgust me!"
The two bickered for a while longer, but Thirteen decided to stop them for the time being.
"We came ahead of schedule, so Shana will be going to the temple after two days," Thirteen replied. "For now, Derek, and Mildred, make your preparations. I will be bringing the two of you to meet your Masters, who will take you in as disciples."
"A new Master?" Derek frowned. "But, Master, you’re already my Master." Continue reading at novelbuddy
"And, who said that you can’t have two Masters?" Thirteen asked as he accepted the bowl of soup that Erica handed to him. "Don’t worry. Your second Master is more forgiving than I am. I’m sure the two of you will get along well."
Derek crossed his arms. "Well, if you say so, Master. But I hope I can really learn something from their guidance."
"Oh, you will. There’s no doubt about that." Thirteen smiled.
"Are we going to travel to meet them?" Mildred asked. "Or are they also in the Temple of Zaphiel?"
"They’re not in the Temple," Thirteen replied. "Actually, your Masters and the Celestials don’t really get along with each other. So, make sure you don’t mention any of the Celestials when you’re with them.
"And one last thing. Both of you need to sign a contract if you want to be trained by them. Don’t worry, this is just similar to the NDA’s in the companies in Pangea."

Derek and Mildred nodded at the same time and went to prepare their things for their departure.
Diana also took her leave, giving one last glance to Shana, who was seated beside Thirteen.
"So you healed it, huh?" Erica said in a teasing tone when only Zion, Shana, Sherry, and she were left in the camp.
"Healed what?" Shana asked.
"What else?" Erica replied. "I’m talking about the kiss marks."
Shana almost choked on the water she was drinking after Erica’s revelation, making Sherry, who was seated beside Zion, look at the Saintess in shock.
"Y-You’re just making up things!" Shana, who had no intention of admitting to anything, replied firmly.
"I forgot to tell you that I asked Rocky to let me inside his Mobile Fortress at dawn," Erica, who had the ’nice bluff’ smirk on her face said. "I also saw you taking care of a big baby. I have to admit, you are wilder than I thought you’d be, Shana."
This time, Shana had no doubt in her mind that Erica had truly seen her and Zion sleeping together in the bed, which made her face turn beet-red due to embarrassment, and guilt.
Thirteen didn’t want to be dragged into this conversation, so he hurriedly finished his food and took Sherry away. It would be best that she didn’t get influenced by the two ladies, who were starting to reveal the skeletons in each other’s closets.
