While this path seems to be a pure process of talisman drawing, this isn’t the true reason I call it this way.

No, it’s because it’s ’Pure of Karma’.

The world of cultivation is a give and take, the world gives us and we take it. But we still have to give it back one day.

Every creation art takes a bit away and gives a bit back. Although it’s not equal, there is at least a relationship between them.

Talismans are made from all kinds of materials, some creating more than others.

Do you know why some talismans work better than others even though the material of the worse talisman is better?

It doesn’t just depend on the skill of the talisman master.

The strength of the talisman also depends on the burden the world bore to allow its existence.

A talisman made from animal fur is extremely heavy in karma – very few talisman masters achieve a balance of karma, allowing it to express its fullest potential without being hindered by the world.

But regardless of how much the master balances it, a talisman made from scratch is unburdened by karma.

The only thing in the world that doesn’t bear karma is spiritual power!

You may absorb and use it as much as you want.

Which is why, if you manage to create a path from scratch just using spiritual power, you will be unburdened by karma!

Once you have no burdens, your creations will do extremely well.

For example, my talismans are 3-5% stronger than other talismans simply because they are unburdened and unrestricted in the world!

Don’t think this is just a small difference.

Between higher talisman masters, every single percent is a difference in power, which might cost someone their life.

Because of this, most if not all will flock to the better talisman, even if it’s only slightly better.

Ye Long nodded while he looked at the book with large eyes. He felt like this book contained the direct inheritance of his master!

Paper making was a niche direction, with very few pursuing the path! There are barely any pure paper makers, most are talisman masters like his master.
