Taming SSR And UR RANK Superwomen-Chapter 11 — The One-Attempt Mission
The day after domesticating Selene and gaining access to her digital status panel, Thomas sat on the edge of his bed, his white hair messy.
"So the gacha lets me obtain one of the four requests," he whispered to himself. "Even though the odds are incredibly low—almost impossible."
When he activated his gacha coin, the roulette began to spin with a cheerful, casino-like sound. Binding Request, Extended Request, Silent Request, and Emergency Request flashed before his eyes.
In the end, the roulette stopped on nothing.
"As expected. Even if the odds are low, I could win something someday, for sure... the gacha coin is obtained once a day after completing the system’s daily mission, huh?"
He navigated through the interface, and when he opened the missions section, his gray eyes widened in shock. The surprise was so intense that he jumped to his feet. He couldn’t believe what was displayed in front of him.

Thomas’s expression tightened.
"W-what do you mean, on the first attempt?! That girl hates me! She’ll never do anything I ask without being ordered to."
He sighed and covered his face with both hands.
"Damn it... and on top of that, she’s a cosplayer with thirty thousand followers. She’s way too proud."
Thomas had spent the previous night digging into Selene’s life to understand who he was dealing with. The impression he had of her was that she was pretentious and extremely self-confident. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"This day looks dangerous... A punishment for failing? What kind of order could she possibly follow?"

"Damn creep, you still have the nerve to make me walk around in public with you," Selene said, her arms crossed. "How far do you plan to take this humiliation?"
They were walking along a busy road near the city’s central plaza. The crowd was noisy, and cars passed through the clean concrete streets.
"I want you to understand that I’m not trying to hurt you. I just want to work together using your abilities."
"And do you really think what you did is the right way to ’work together’?" she accused, glaring at him sharply. "You disgust me. You’re worse than a stalker. I can’t even refuse to be with you right now. I wish I could scream and ask for help, but you even forbade that, didn’t you?"
"It would be a big problem for me if that happened," he muttered, exhaling as he closed his eyes.
"Hmp. Besides, what even is this power? Men don’t awaken gifts like this—it’s far too dangerous."
’You don’t have to tell me... I don’t understand where it came from either.’
"I won’t go into details with you. It’s not like you need to know. I just want to use your ability. Once I’m done, I’ll let you go."
Selene looked at him from the side, her brow still furrowed. She hugged herself tighter, uncertain about the future, and finally asked:
"So... what’s your name?"
’A personal question so she can dig into me later. I don’t stand out at all, so I doubt she’ll find anything. Still, this will help build a better relationship. It doesn’t matter if it’s all fake.’
"Thomas," he said flatly.
"Thomas... Are you sure that’s your real name? With what you’re doing, I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t."
Thomas laughed amicably, forcing the sound without letting the emotion reach his face, and replied:
"Ha-ha, it’s my name. Obviously, I’ll protect my privacy, but I don’t intend to lie to you when you ask me things."
’After all, the stats displayed in front of me are based on real relationships. If I treat them badly, I get the feeling they’d stop obeying me—and who knows how far things could escalate after that. And especially with Selene, her luck-based gift is far too valuable. I don’t want to lose her. But maybe with less valuable heroines... I might indulge myself a bit.’
Thomas stopped, and Selene did as well, when they reached their destination. It was a quiet pastry shop, well known for its popularity. Selene was the one who looked up at the sign and said:
"Is this your plan? Taking me on a date? Do you seriously think I see you as something even remotely close to an acquaintance?"
"You don’t like desserts? I love them. Besides, it’s free food for you, right?"
Selene sighed as she watched him enter the shop.
’Damn it... why do I have to be forced into this?’
Unable to refuse, she followed behind Thomas. Meanwhile, the white-haired young man thought:
’She has to carry out an order without resisting, but it never specifies what kind of order. My plan is to make it something simple—something as simple as asking her to hand me an object or put sugar in my coffee. It’s a gamble. I only get one attempt, so even if I have to fake every smile, I’m betting everything on this.’
His gray eyes settled on the red letters displayed on the panel in front of him.
