Taming the Hybrid Mate: Desired by Five Alphas-Chapter 205: Professor Garrich is a suspect
Andria’s POV
"And what made you think so? Kaelric. Be careful not to accuse me of something you aren’t sure about. You have no substantial evidence to back up your claim, but here you are, pointing an accusing finger at me," Prof Garrich defended.
"Of course, I have substantial evidence," Sir Kaelric said, and Prof Garrich shuddered a little. I could tell he was tense under a facade of bold confrontation. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"But weren’t you so confident some hours ago when you were trying to accuse these students of an offence that they didn’t commit?. Trying to replay the case and prove Liara’s innocence, and pin it on defamation," Sir Kaelric stated, chuckling slightly.
"I can display what happened on the night of the students’ event, which they called ’the kissing booth’. But it’s of no use because it has been replayed over and over again, but your lustful mind has refused to accept it.
And what about the night at the museum’s underground, I was there, she was there," he said, pointing towards my direction, "The Alpha successors were also there, the wound he sustained at that time was all evidence and yet, you are looking for a way to claim that they are innocent, I wonder why."
"I never said that they were innocent, but if they are guilty, Aria, Allison and the Alpha successors are also guilty. I heard there was a fight between Aria, the alpha successors, Jackson, and Liara after the kissing booth event at Jackson’s apartment. And we all know that fighting is against Ashwood’s rule. What about the incident in the cafeteria? Aven clearly beat up Jackson for denying his bond with Allison, his twin sister. Isn’t that bullying? Or is that excluded as usual because it involves the Alpha successors?"
"If you say it like that, then the princess Liara could have been pardoned because of her rank, and Aria punished, because she’s got no rank in society," Sir Kaelric said. "But that is not the case. Jackson triggered Aven, and not the Alpha successors, and they fought. The other Alpha successors didn’t join that fight as I examined the footage.
Aven happened to be stronger and messed him up. Aven and Jackson were given a warning, as the school rules state, or punishment or detention, depending on the severity of the fight. As for the fight in their apartment, they were all also involved, warned and pardoned.
But the act of ambushing your fellow student, beating them up, and tying and chaining them under the table in a laboratory with a spell-bound chain, and releasing a fume, with wolf’s bane in it, is an attempted murder; it’s past the normal student fight, and whoever does that is considered an enemy to the school.
No one was defamed or framed; they all committed the offences for which they are being punished, but it seems as though you are playing sentimentality with the case, choosing sides. Do you think I’m happy that Liara is detained? Huh, I’m the most upset, and I know Aria is upset about it too. But Liara is being punished, not killed, and if she doesn’t learn, then I can’t save her from further punishments."
Prof Garrich started clapping, while the headmistress stared at him, confused.
"From previous cases, and knowing the king personally sent Kaelric to Ashwood, claiming he is good at discernment, and would serve as a security aid, I think I would love to hear from him. Kaelric, why do you think that Prof Garrich is involved in what happened today?" The headmistress asked.
"I think this is best discussed in the school council chamber," Sir Kaelric stated.
"Oh, how did we get here? A council case again? When will all these crises involving me end?" I muttered under my breath.
We walked to the school council chamber and took seats.
Sir Kaelric walked forward. "You wanted to know why I suspect Prof Garrich of being linked to what happened this morning?"
He nodded, flashing us a quick smirk. "Professor Garrich has been disturbed since Tracy was expelled, and I found out that he is still in constant contact with Tracy. The first time I saw Felicia was when I followed Aria to the mall after overhearing Professor Garrich speak to an unknown factor over the phone about Aria and the student council’s plans to go shopping the next day. I wondered how he got the information that Aria would be going out to the mall the next day, but that wasn’t the problem; I felt Aria was in trouble."
I gasped, remembering the figure that had chased Macy and me. She had a mark on her arm that looked like Tracy’s, which was the only thing I could remember until I saw her today.
He chuckled under his breath, "I’m not making an empty accusation, I have left this voice recording in my phone until date, because I somehow knew a day like this would come, and Professor Garrich had been pushing it."
He pressed a button on his phone, and a recording with Professor Garrich’s voice started to play.
"How are you so sure that’s me?" Professor Garrich defended.
"You have no worries, since you keep pushing," he said, turning to us. "After I heard that conversation, I decided to put a hidden camera in his office, since each teacher’s office is considered private, and no cameras are in any of them.
After that Saturday, I managed to rescue Aria from near death in the hands of Felicia. I couldn’t bring up this case, because I wanted to bring up concrete evidence, as it involves a professor, and a she-wolf who isn’t a student or rather...Whose sister was once a student of Ashwood.
The next day after the mission had failed, and Professor Garrich had seen Aria to school, he went back to ask the same factor, who I learned to be Felicia, if she hadn’t seen Aria. He claims he provided her with accurate information, so the fault can’t be his.
He asks Felicia over the phone if he can see Tracy again, but she refuses, demanding that he fulfil another request for her first.
