Taming the Hybrid Mate: Desired by Five Alphas-Chapter 206: Sir Kaelric’s revelations
Andria’s POV
He asks Felicia over the phone if he can see Tracy again, but she refuses, demanding that he fulfil another request for her first."
The words still echoed in my mind. Professor Garrich had wanted to kill me just so that he could see Tracy again. How deep was their connection that he could go to that extent just to please her?.
Tracy is gone, yet her ghosts still haunt me. How many more accomplices of hers will go to any extent just to make sure I’m dead? I didn’t realize my hands were shaking.
Allison whispered as we entered, her voice low but tense. "Aria... what now?"
"I don’t know," I murmured, keeping my voice quiet so only she could hear. My hands were shaking. Not with fear exactly, though there was plenty of that, but with anticipation.
Sir Kaelric gulped, staring at Professor Garrich for close to five minutes, before taking a step closer to Professor Garrich, daringly. The room was fully charged as tension crawled over it.
Some other senior school council members arrived; this was slowly turning into a tribunal.
"Go on, Kaelric. We need to hear all of it, to know what we are working with," the headmistress urged.
Sir Kaelric took measured, deliberate, almost hypnotic steps back to where he had been standing before walking to Professor Garrich. He took his place at the opposite side of the table, his eyes scanning every face. Then he locked back on Professor Garrich.
I swallowed. My pulse was hammering. Allison noticed the tension, because soon her hands were also trembling like mine. "Professor Garrich is quite suspicious. Look at the way he is looking at you right now," Allison whispered to me.
I didn’t bother to look; I was already tensed enough.
Sir Kaelric cleared his throat and continued. "You all know why we are here," he said, directing his gaze to the council members who had just joined us. Professor Garrich has been in constant, inappropriate contact with Tracy, who has been expelled from Ashwood.
And we know the serious allegations made against her, and we know those allegations were actually factual. Yet Prof Garrich is still in contact with her, and is totally a primary suspect in the chaos that happened this morning, as some evidence proves that he organized it." 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
His gaze swept across the room, landing briefly on the council members before returning to Garrich. "I monitored him. Every conversation, every message. Until the day Liara and Jackson were punished, I had every reason to believe he was planning something... and I was right."
Garrich opened his mouth, but Kaelric’s gaze cut him off like a blade. "Do not interrupt."
I felt a chill creep up my spine. He didn’t even glance at me or Allison while speaking, but the weight of his voice pressed down on me. The council members exchanged worried glances. Everyone here knew something serious was about to unfold.
"He took advantage of the students’ current predicament to plan a connection with Tracy’s sister," Kaelric continued, his voice cold but measured, like a weapon slowly sharpening. "Jackson was to be released as part of the plan, and if anything were to happen, then Felicia would intervene.
He planned to frame Aria, Allison, and the Alpha successors in the process. This... was his plan. And he almost succeeded, before we caught Felicia, Tracy’s sister, trying to escape with Liara and Jackson, and it dawned on me."
Garrich’s face twisted in outrage. "This is absurd! I have done nothing wrong. You twist facts to make your assumptions..."
"Facts," Kaelric corrected, "not assumptions. You were careful to cover your tracks, yes. But you underestimated my patience, and my eyes."
I could feel my hands curling into fists. The Alpha successors shifted slightly behind me, their presence charged, as if they could sense the danger radiating from Prof Garrich even without Kaelric’s words.
Then Prof Garrich burst out laughing, and he clapped as he laughed. Slowly and deliberately. "Bravo, Kaelric. Very clever. And yet, you are no different. You are also in a relationship with a student. Aria. Fighting tooth and nail to protect her. Do not think you are better than me."
The room went deadly silent. Even the headmistress leaned forward, her face tightening with disbelief.
I froze. My blood ran cold. I could feel Allison stiffen beside me. I met Aven, Tristan and Damon’s eyes immediately, and for Alphas like them who seemed untouched by a lot of things, they looked tense, hearing those words come out of Professor Garrich’s mouth.
"I thought it was a rumour. Is what Professor Garrich is saying true?" Allison asked, nudging me slightly.
I just stared into space, refusing to answer that question. I, Allison and we weren’t that close, so she couldn’t have known about this if Professor Garrich wasn’t such a pain in the ass.
Sir Kaelric’s eyes darkened, his jaw tightened, and his hands clenched into fists on the table. "You are mistaken, Garrich. My relationship with Aria is not illicit. As wolves, we can have a relationship with our mate, and Aria here is my mate."
Professor Garrich let out a loud laugh again, "So you mean to say, Aria has even more than three mates? She already has the Alpha successors as her mate, which I was surprised to learn, and now you are claiming to be her mate as well. Don’t you all find it amusing?"
"You can find it as amusing as you wish, but that’s what the moon goddess probably wanted for me, and I can’t be running after what’s not mine. You, however, involve another student who isn’t your mate, while your Luna is back home, kept like a secret.
Your manipulative dealings run counter to every principle this school stands for. You corrupt trust and safety for your own whims. That is why this council is hearing your case today."
Garrich’s face turned pale, but his arrogance didn’t falter. "Manipulate? I have done nothing but follow the students’ best interests!"
