Eleanor kept the back of her hand on her mouth as she swallowed back her sob. Her mother experienced many things that any woman wouldn’t experience. Yet she was there cursing her and hating her.

She left her two children feeling guilty. Eleanor felt that her mother was stupid. If she had said the truth to her husband she wouldn’t have to go through this much suffering. They would have been a family of four. There wouldn’t have been any Anthony Thorne Hallard in their lives. If she thought about the things rationally, her mother was the root cause of their suffering knowingly or unknowingly.

Didn’t they say her mother was a smart woman? But why did she behave this stupidly? She wondered.

When she heard about losing the child and her health condition, she felt her pain. The thought of losing her child itself made Eleanor go crazy. But her mother lost her baby after carrying it for nine months. And the child was someone who could bring back her lost smiles and can clear her guilt. But she lost him.

She could feel her pain. Eleanor tried not to cry but the tears never stopped from her eyes. Her mother suffered too much. Maybe Eleanor’s curses were the reason for her suffering. Eleanor blamed herself for her mother’s suffering.

And for some reason, she was glad that it wasn’t Anthony who tried to kill Martin. Money can come and go but not life. But again, if it wasn’t Anthony then who was it that tried to kill Martin? Does that mean there was another enemy who tried to kill him? Apart from him who was the other enemy they had?

Before she could think further she heard her brother’s voice.

"Then who was the one who killed me?" Martin asked.

This was the question that was bugging him. Even though Martin knew Anthony tried to kill him and all the pieces of evidence pointed to him, he didn’t believe him. Because on the day of his accident he saw a man along with the driver through his blurry eyes. The moment he saw Anthony he realized he was being played.

He called Juke to find the one about the accident. But just then Eleanor got kidnapped it messed up the things.

"It’s Maynard Boris. I took help from him to create trouble for Zora groups. He said that he wanted to acquire Zora groups. I said I would help him but he made his move and tried to kill you. Marrying Eleanor to his son Jacob would make Zora groups as Boris. He even planned to Kill Eleanor after getting married to Jacob.

"But hearing Martin’s accident thing, My wife revealed Eleanor is my daughter. So, I made Jessica marry Jacob. After she tried to dump Jacob after the banquet with Emerson’s Annual banquet. She never wanted to marry him till this new year. Jessica always wanted him for her benefit.

"Unexpectedly she got pregnant, she was about to abort the child but Jacob got to know she was pregnant somehow and the marriage was planned to save Eleanor from calamity. And it reversed the plans of Maynard Boris. He was disappointed with his son’s actions. But it didn’t stop him from creating trouble for Zora Groups.

"The presence of Cedric made him slow down his actions. And my warning stopped him from creating trouble for Zora groups. But again... with Eleanor’s kidnap, he thought he would have an advantage yet fate is not at his side. Jacob was just a cover for Maynard’s evil actions but the real culprit was Maynard," Anthony said.

"Where is Jacob now?" Aiden asked.

"In the same place where he wanted to send my grandson earlier," Anthony said shrugging his shoulders.

Aiden and Martin said nothing about that.

Mason was the most shocked one to hear those words. Martin put on a conference call to Cedric, Valene, Mason, Edward, Nathaira, Myna, and Tiffany before he came here.

Everyone was hearing his call. But they learned many truths when Anthony revealed things to them.

Mason was already feeling enough guilty because of Jacob’s actions but with Maynard Boris in the picture, he felt like he was a fool.

Mason realized Maynard never considered him as his son but as a servant to clean up the mess in Boris’s family. And he was the one who caused Martin’s accident. Martin was the one who helped him most with his career and things. And he was the reason for his accident. Since he was the son of Maynard then it means he was the reason for the accident.

Tiffany who was watching Mason’s expressions knew he was heartbroken but she was worried about Myna too. She could see her changing expressions. But Tiffany knew Anthony genuinely loved Myna. She saw Anthony’s love for Myna during the engagement. Tiffany wasn’t scared about Myna but Mason. She walked ahead and settled in Mason’s lap as she wrapped her hand around him. Mason buried his head in her shoulder as he cried.

Myna doesn’t know whether she has to feel sad about her condition or her mother’s condition or her half-brother’s condition. Does that mean they adopted her to cure Eleanor’s mother but not out of love? Was all the love they showed to Myna fake?

Just then she heard Martin asking him.

"What about Myna? Did you adopt her to cure her? But not out of love?" Martin asked. Martin knew Myna very well. He loved her as much as he loved Eleanor. She was his sister too. He knew her thoughts well. So he asked Anthony as he tried to decipher all her doubts. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

Myna was desperately waiting for this answer. Even Eleanor was waiting for this. She wanted to know why he adopted Myna. Was it to fill the void of their unborn child or to cure her mother?
