The Betrayed Heiress's Second Comeback-Chapter 83: Ch : Too Much Attention- Part 1
Jenna’s POV
’I cannot believe I am in an S&M club. I... do I look weird? I need to concentrate and not let anyone find out how nervous I am...’
I straightened my back as I walked behind Damian. The collar around my neck felt snug, reminding me of the role I was to play today.
Somehow, none of what was happening felt real to me, and my head spun. But Damian’s hand on my back grounded me back to reality as we walked past the first security post to the second one.
Unlike the manager before, the security stopped us this time, but they had awkward expressions on their faces.
Their hesitation only made my nerves spike further.
"Jenna, he’s asking for your ID..."
Damian reminded me as I looked at him for instructions. I had zoned out and not heard a thing until now.
"I... here..."
I blinked and handed my ID over, not looking at the card I took out. The man at the security post looked at me, then at my ID, and then back at me before he opened his mouth.
The silence stretched uncomfortably.
But Damian’s presence intimidated him enough to make him speechless before he took a step back.
"Welcome to the club, Mister and Miss Black. I hope you have a fun time there."
The manager told us as he handed my ID back. Damian took it from the man before I could reach for it, and he raised a brow as he handed it back to me.
I finally noticed why this had become such a big deal. The ID I had handed over belonged to Nicole. I had accidentally taken her ID with me as well.
Heat rushed to my face in embarrassment.
’How embarrassing...! Should I correct this misunderstanding...?’
I questioned myself before I looked at Damian and decided... that it would not be needed.
"You should lean against me from here on. Remember, we are an S&M couple, and we need to act like that."
Damian whispered as he came forward and wrapped his arms around my middle. His warmth pressed against my back and made me shiver.
My tongue felt heavy in my mouth, and I shivered as I felt his warmth against my back. The hold he had on me felt a little... different from usual.
My eyes looked at him before I felt too embarrassed to keep looking and decided to take a look around... and immediately regretted it.
I thought I knew what kind of place this was, but it was evident that I was wrong. My eyes immediately turned toward a man kneeling on the floor with another’s feet resting on top of his back.
I stiffened instinctively.
Some more were... in even more provocative positions, and then there were people without any partners who were rather... strong-willed and willing to go to any length.
"We will likely need to spend some time here before we can head to the back rooms. If you start to feel uncomfortable, then tell me. I will find a way to get us out of this situation somehow."
Damian assured me, and I nodded. But I knew that I was not going to tell him anything, even if I felt uncomfortable.
Actually, I was already uncomfortable, but Damian seemed used to places like these. It was clear that this was not his first time here. And that thought made me... jealous.
Something in me felt annoyed by the fact that Damian had been here before with someone who was not me and done God-knows-what.
’Darn it. Now my mood is becoming sour... I need to think of something to cheer me up...’
But nothing came to mind, and I sighed. Damian noticed this and must have taken it as nervousness because he looked at me with a concern-filled expression.
His concern only made it harder to sort out my feelings.
"Are you alright?"
He asked, and I felt bad. Here he was, trying his best to help me out, while I was freaking out over nothing. So what if Damian had been here before with someone else? It wouldn’t change the fact that he was here with me now.
And I... would not allow him to come here with anyone else in the future either.
"I am fine. We should sit down and act normal. Remember, I trust you, and I will follow your lead here."
I told Damian as I let myself lean against him. He looked a little flustered at the sudden show of trust, but his eyes shined, and his arms tightened around me a little.
He did not say anything anymore, and he quickly led us to the huge sofa at the side of the club. Most eyes were on us at the moment, and Damian sat down with his legs open wide before he pulled me into his lap and rested his hand on my lower back.
Our positions were rather suggestive, and people were looking at us with keen eyes, wanting to see if they could take my place as Damian’s partner or not.
I was good at noticing desire, and there was a lot of it aimed at Damian. This attention did not feel nice to me.
Not at all.
"Don’t focus on others and just focus on me. I am your partner here, not anyone else."
Damian reminded me as he whispered in my ear. His words made me shiver, and I nodded as I looked up at him. I did trust Damian a lot... but I did not trust the people around me.
I needed to show them that Damian was as much mine as I was his in the moment. So I leaned up and rested my face against his neck, showing everyone how close we were. Even I had to admit that our position looked compromised.
But Damian just chuckled at my actions before he pulled me closer.
I gave the people looking at him a glare, and they immediately turned their heads away. But their desire for Damian had not vanished. If anything, it seemed to have become even more evident.
’Tsk, what pests. Why won’t they stop looking at Damian? Can’t they see that he already has a partner?’
I wanted to question it before I realized just how jealous I was acting. I had never once considered myself the jealous type, but even I had to admit it now—I felt jealous when it came to Damian.
’Since when did he get so close to my heart? I... truly do not feel like myself right now.’
