The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress-Chapter 463 - 464: Visiting Sabrina Johnson
"I didn’t kill Dad, it was all Frederick Stewart’s doing! If you want revenge, go find Frederick Stewart!"
Sienna Johnson looked at the diamond-encrusted emerald bracelet on her wrist and sneered, "You certainly know how to push all the blame away."
Sabrina Johnson looked at Sienna’s luxurious outfit, a wave of bitterness washing over her.
She and Sienna were different. Sabrina had been pampered since childhood; her clothes had to be designer labels, and every aspect of her life, from food and clothing to accommodation and travel, was exquisite.
In contrast, Sienna was much more casual, daring to wear unbranded clothes. Sabrina looked down on Sienna’s ’impoverished’ appearance.
Because she only wore designer clothes, Sabrina recognized many high-end brands. Today, Sienna was dressed from head to toe in famous brands—brands Sabrina loved—and they were all the latest styles, freshly launched for the current season.
This woman is deliberately trying to provoke me.
Sabrina wasn’t as pretty as Sienna to begin with. Now, without her luxurious attire, she looked even more like an ugly duckling, while Sienna resembled a noble princess.
She hated this woman!
The stark contrast in their situations infuriated Sabrina. "Sienna, what do you have to be proud of? So what if you’re Miss Johnson? I still took your identity, usurped your favored position, and eventually even stole your fiancé! Sabrina, you’re just a pitiful worm, unwanted and unloved by anyone!"
"..."
"You think Mom likes you now, don’t you? Let me tell you, she still loves me the most! Sienna, you poor worm, you’ll never have her love."
Sienna was no longer the timid, insecure girl she used to be. Such words would have hurt her in the past, but not anymore.
"Do you think I still care?"
"..."
"Whether it’s Pauline Briggs’ maternal love or Frederick Stewart’s affection, I’m not interested in any of it anymore. Especially that scumbag, Frederick..." Sienna retorted. "Do you think marrying Frederick was a victory? In my eyes, you’ve lost miserably."
"..."
"Marriage is a woman’s second chance at life! Clearly, you didn’t choose well for your second chance. The man you married not only cheated on you during your marriage but also fled with his parents when trouble arose, abandoning you, his legal wife."
"..."
"Where do you think Frederick is off enjoying himself right now?" Every word she spoke struck Sabrina where it hurt most. "Frederick Pharmaceutical Factory may have gone bankrupt, but the Stewart Family absconded with a large sum of money—enough for them to squander. Yet, they didn’t take you with them."
Sabrina’s face grew even paler as she recalled what Yvette Harris had told her: Frederick had fled to Saintnia and had even gotten engaged to a local tycoon’s daughter, with plans to marry by the end of the year.
"Actually, I never intended to marry Frederick in the first place..."
"Who are you trying to fool? With Frederick’s excellent family background and good looks, who wouldn’t want to marry him? If you truly didn’t want to, why didn’t you break off the marriage contract with him sooner?"
Sabrina didn’t believe that Sienna had never been attracted to Frederick. She figured Sienna was just saying that with the benefit of hindsight, now that she knew what kind of person he truly was.
Sienna laughed. "Actually, back then, I hired a private detective to investigate Frederick. And you know what? I found out quite a few interesting things..."
"You had Frederick investigated?" Sabrina asked, astonished.
"I’m not like you, judging men solely by their appearance. As I said, marriage is a woman’s second chance at life, and this second chance is extremely important. If she doesn’t choose well, the rest of her life becomes a tragedy. Just look at your current situation, and you’ll understand..." Her smile was faint, yet utterly devoid of warmth.
Sabrina clenched her fists, staring at Sienna. "What did you find out?"
"You want to know?"
"Stop being mysterious!"
"I found out that Frederick was dating several women simultaneously. One of them was even pregnant with his child. That woman was beautiful, had been with Frederick for many years, and had several abortions for his sake. The truth is, Frederick never truly loved any woman! Only a brainless woman like you would be deceived by his sweet talk."
This sentence was the last straw for Sabrina. Her tragic journey had arguably begun with her infatuation with Frederick. If Sienna hadn’t returned to the Johnson family, she would have been the one to marry him. But Sienna had ruined everything.
"What are you so smug about?"
"..."
"Of course I’m smug!" Sienna replied. "Sabrina, you can’t seize what doesn’t belong to you, no matter how hard you try! Look, everything you stole from me back then—didn’t you lose it all in the end?"
"..."
"Sabrina, you’re the sparrow, and I’m the phoenix! A sparrow can adorn itself with a phoenix’s magnificent feathers, but it will never become a phoenix."
She looked down from her superior vantage point at the devastated Sabrina, saying slowly, word by word, "Look how pathetic you are now... like a pitiful worm, forced to sell your body, sleeping with a man old enough to be your grandfather!"
"..."
"You always said my mother didn’t love me, but you’re no better off. No matter how much Mom might dislike me, she would never send me to an old man’s bed, forcing me to sleep with someone old enough to be my grandfather!"
"..."
"Sabrina, your life is an utter and complete tragedy!"
"Sienna, why don’t you just die!" Sabrina screamed.
"..."
"Why don’t you just go die!"
Some people never reflect on their mistakes or look for reasons within themselves; instead, they push all the blame onto others. Sabrina was one such person.
"You’re pregnant, and having been detained for so long, you must not have eaten well for quite some time. Pregnant women need proper nutrition to ensure they can deliver a healthy child. After I got pregnant, my husband dropped everything else and prepared all sorts of special meals for me every day. I’ve even gained some weight recently. But my husband says I’m so beautiful that even if I put on a little weight, I’m still gorgeous." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
"..."
"Huh? You’ve put on weight too? Sabrina, your looks are maintained by cosmetics and expensive clothes; you absolutely cannot afford to gain weight. If you do, you’ll become hideous!"
"Sienna, get the hell out of here!"
"Goodness, you even have freckles on your face now... You must not have used any skincare products to prevent pregnancy spots, have you?" Sienna feigned surprise. "Let me tell you, those pregnancy spots won’t disappear even after you give birth. You’d better take good care of that face of yours, or you won’t be able to show yourself in public with a face full of spots..."
Sabrina involuntarily touched her own face, glaring intently at Sienna’s complexion, which remained smooth and flawless even through pregnancy.
If she had a knife in her hand, she desperately wanted to slash Sienna’s face.
