The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress-Chapter 464 - 465: Since Yu Was Born, Why Was Liang Born
"However, you’re penniless now and definitely can’t afford those expensive skincare products anymore. Buying cheap stuff might not only fail to get rid of your spots but could also ruin your face, which would be troublesome.
Since you can’t afford good spot-removing products, food therapy is also a good option. I came to see you, so I asked my mom to make some of your favorite dishes. This winter melon has spot-removing effects, so you must eat more of it. Oh, right, my mom was very reluctant to cook for you. I had to beg her for a long time before she finally agreed... Sabrina Johnson, enjoy it, because you’ll never taste my mom’s cooking again."
These were the words Sabrina Johnson once said to Sienna Johnson, and now Sienna was returning them to her! She was much kinder than Sabrina, at least; she wasn’t giving Sabrina leftovers.
Sienna pushed the food container in front of her and opened it. The food was already cold. Sienna had no intention of keeping it warm for her or letting her enjoy a delicious meal.
She had come solely to provoke Sabrina!
"This white peony with Chinese broccoli, and these pineapple ribs—you must try them. Nobody can make them taste like my mom’s cooking."
The Pineapple Ribs had gone cold, with a thin layer of oil floating on top. Sienna could see that Pauline Briggs hadn’t put much effort into making them. With Pauline’s emphasis on health, she would never have allowed so much oil in the food.
Pauline must really hate Sabrina now. Then again, if Sabrina had caused her husband’s death, she would hate Sabrina too!
Sabrina stared at the food on the table, silent for a long moment. When had eating her adoptive mother’s cooking become so difficult?
Feeling there was no point in kicking someone who was already down, Sienna got straight to the point. "I know you and Ryan Langston are together!"
"You know quite a lot, don’t you?" Sabrina said sarcastically. She wasn’t afraid of Sienna knowing about her relationship with Ryan Langston.
"I’ve always hoped the law would bring justice for my father. Naturally, I’ve had to keep an eye on you. Who knows if you’ll resort to desperate measures when cornered and cause more trouble."
"So, you’re that afraid of me? HAHAHA..." Sabrina laughed out loud.
"You’d better confess. No one can save you now. Not Master Leland, not even that ’big shot’ you’re relying on."
"You’re not young anymore. Don’t believe the nonsense those old men tell you. They don’t genuinely like you; they’re just after the child in your womb or your young body."
Sabrina raised her head and scoffed. "You’re trying to drive me to my death! I’m just trying to find a way to survive!"
"There’s no way out for you! I’ll block all your paths! If you’re smart, you’ll confess, go to jail, and I might let you off relatively easily. Otherwise..."
"Otherwise, what can you do to me?" Sabrina was unrepentant. "Who do you think you are? Just because you have some filthy money, do you really think you can do whatever you want?"
"You’re the one who does whatever she wants! I’m just a victim’s family member seeking justice through the law. But you, after committing a crime, are trying to escape legal punishment."
"Sabrina Johnson, you must believe in fate! Fate is fair! You’ve enjoyed blessings that weren’t yours. Now, it’s time to pay them back. A lifetime in prison—that’s your fate, your destiny!" Sienna said.
"Fate? HA! Fate means you should never have returned to the Johnson Family! You should be living in poverty with that despicable adoptive mother of yours!" She directed her fury at Sienna. "Sienna Johnson, I already existed! Why did you have to come into this world too? Why didn’t you die at sea? If you had died, my life wouldn’t be this miserable!"
"It’s all your fault! Everything is your fault! It’s because of you I’ve ended up like this! Sienna Johnson, you detestable woman!"
Sabrina was completely enraged by Sienna. She swept her arms across the table, knocking the food containers to the ground. Bone ceramic plates and bowls shattered, scattering food and liquid everywhere. She lunged at Sienna, her long nails aiming to slash Sienna’s fair face. She was jealous of that face, desperate to disfigure it with a knife.
Sabrina looked like a madwoman, her face contorted. Police officers moved forward and restrained her, pressing her against the table. Sabrina continued to shout,
"Sienna Johnson, I’ll kill you!"
"Sabrina Johnson, you’re insane!" Sienna took a step back, maintaining a safe distance. She was pregnant; she couldn’t risk fighting this madwoman and harming her baby.
"I am mad! I am! You drove me mad!"
Sienna chuckled lightly. "Such a delicate flower, raised in a greenhouse. I only said a few words, and you can’t bear it. Compared to what you did to me when we were children, I’ve hardly done anything to you today."
"Yes, when I was young, I wronged you. But have you ever considered my feelings? I was originally the young lady of the Johnson family! Because of your arrival, I became an awkward presence. How was I supposed to treat you? Act like loving sisters? I couldn’t do it! Sienna Johnson, I hate you! I despise you! Why did you have to come back to the Johnson family? Why, when I already existed, did there have to be you too!"
"Why is there ’another me’? Because I am the true young lady of the Johnson family, and you are nothing but an imposter—a fake!"
"One should be grateful for what they have in life. Otherwise, retribution will follow!"
Seeing that the police had Sabrina firmly restrained, that she couldn’t break free, and that her hands were cuffed, Sienna felt safe enough to approach. She took out her compact mirror, opened it, and held it up for Sabrina to see her own contorted face.
"Take a good look at yourself. Truly... hideous."
Sabrina saw her reflection and suddenly fell silent. Sienna continued, "I’ve heard that women who date much older men age quickly. I didn’t believe it before, but seeing you now, I do."
"If we went out together now, no one would ever think I was your older sister!"
Sabrina closed her eyes, unable to bear looking at her reflection any longer. Sienna chuckled, placed the compact mirror on the table, then turned and elegantly walked out.
"Sienna Johnson, I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you!"
Sabrina’s eyes flashed with a stubborn light, a gaze so intense it seemed to want to devour Sienna.
Sienna laughed lightly, her beauty a sharp sting to Sabrina’s eyes. "You’ll go to jail. You’ll be imprisoned for life. By the time you get out, you’ll be old, completely old, with nothing left!"
The words were like a curse, like a python coiling around her, crushing her.
"Goodbye, Sabrina Johnson!"
