Chapter 766: Chapter 807: Sienna Johnson, You’ve Got Guts

"Walter Klein, I gave you a chance before!" 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"Sixth Master, I had no choice at the time. You and Madam have such a strong relationship, if you knew Madam was being held by Xavier Young, you would have gone to save her yourself.

Sixth Master, you were so badly injured then..."

"Walter Klein, you still don’t understand your position! I am your Boss, you’re just an employee I hired! Yet now you’re making decisions for me!"

"..."

"Walter Klein, I don’t dare to use someone like you anymore, you can leave!"

"Sixth Master, I’ve been working for you for ten years!"

"Alyssa, do you think the severance pay I gave you is too little?"

"It’s not!" Adrian Desmond has always been generous with his subordinates when it comes to money.

"Then why not leave straightforwardly instead of saying so much nonsense in front of me?"

Walter Klein’s eyes reddened slightly, and he said in a low voice, "Sixth Master, I’ve followed you for so many years, even if I made a mistake, how can you be so heartless to me?"

Adrian Desmond was already feeling terrible. One Carpenter Family wasn’t enough; now Walter Klein also came to hold him accountable.

"Heartless to you? Did I sleep with you, or did I toy with your feelings, and you keep whining to me like this?"

"..."

"Get the hell out! Or don’t blame me for being ruthless!"

Brandon Potter walked in, just in time to see Adrian Desmond scolding Walter Klein. Out of respect for Walter Klein, she didn’t immediately enter.

After a while, Walter Klein came out, eyes red, and seeing Brandon Potter standing in the hallway, he paused and then left with large strides.

Brandon Potter said, "Walter, Madam means a lot to Sixth Master, you cannot hide things from him."

"So, watch him get killed?"

"Even if he gets killed, it’s Sixth Master’s decision! We’re merely working for him, we don’t have the right to make decisions for him!"

"..."

"Remember what I said when you find a new job."

Walter Klein pressed his lips tightly and didn’t reply to Brandon Potter, leaving with large strides without looking back.

Brandon Potter turned to watch Walter Klein’s receding figure, squinting her phoenix eyes. Walter Klein had been with Adrian Desmond for so many years and knew too much. If Adrian’s rivals were to hire him, it would be very disadvantageous for Adrian.

It seemed that not only did all the people around Sixth Master need to be replaced, but many things also needed to be disrupted and adjusted anew.

Brandon Potter entered Adrian Desmond’s hospital room, only to see that Adrian had already changed into a black casual outfit. Black outfit, black pants, one has to admit, black suited Adrian Desmond well.

He was lying on the bed with a look that warned strangers not to approach.

"Sixth Master."

"Is everything ready?"

"It’s ready."

"Let’s go."

"Sixth Master, are you sure your health is okay?"

Brandon was still worried about Adrian Desmond. Despite knowing him for so many years, it was the first time witnessing Adrian in such a fragile state.

"I won’t die!"

Adrian Desmond got out of bed, determinedly walking out, and Brandon Potter swallowed all the words she wanted to say after seeing Adrian’s demeanor.

They drove to a civil airfield on the outskirts, where Adrian’s private jet was parked.

They had prepared two planes: one for the medical staff, the bodyguards, along with Brandon Potter and Adrian; the other for other personnel.

Once aboard, the medical staff monitored Adrian’s heartbeat to prevent any emergency.

"Sixth Master, Madam’s bodyguards have made contact..." a stranger holding a communicator reported to Adrian Desmond.

Adrian didn’t recognize the man in front of him, a downside of the complete personnel change; he needed to get to know and understand everyone anew.

"How is Madam?"

"They said security is tight, and they can’t get inside, but they’re staying outside and keeping watch.

Madam is doing well, she’s even opened a small clinic and sees local patients every day."

Hearing this, Adrian Desmond felt a pang of bitterness; he’d been worrying about her while she lived with ease and comfort.

"Sienna Johnson truly knows how to thrive regardless of circumstances."

Adrian thought of himself, feeling pitiful. Without Sienna, his world seemed devoid of light, like a stagnant pool.

"Sixth Master, please calm your emotions, your heart rate is too fast," Dr. Blake advised.

Dr. Blake was forcibly brought over, reluctantly.

Adrian Desmond took a deep breath, adjusting his breathing. He couldn’t let his temper get the better of him.

Brandon Potter said, "Pass me the communicator!"

"Yes!"

Brandon Potter connected with Tran, the bodyguard by Sienna Johnson’s side, "Tran, this is Brandon Potter. How is Madam doing now?"

"Madam is fine. We are the ones having it rough, hiding in the jungle, feeding mosquitos every day," Tran joked.

Brandon didn’t care whether they were feeding mosquitos or not, "Has Xavier Young done anything to Madam..."

Adrian, who was adjusting his breath with his eyes closed, snapped his eyes open at Brandon’s question, staring intently at her.

"What exactly are you asking?"

"I’m asking if Xavier Young has bullied Madam."

Adrian ordered, "Put it on speaker!"

"Yes!"

With speaker turned on, not only could Adrian Desmond hear but everyone else could too.

"...Xavier Young treats Madam very well. Her meals could feed a dozen people, with desserts, snacks, and fruits outside the normal three meals...and he accompanies Madam on walks..."

"Do they sleep together at night?" Brandon Potter asked euphemistically.

"Initially they didn’t sleep together, but later they started to." Tran replied.

Brandon added, "But Madam is pregnant."

Unaware that Adrian was listening, Tran spoke freely, "I overheard Xavier saying, making love with a pregnant woman is most thrilling... such a pervert."

"..."

"Oh, by the way, Madam recently got along quite well with Xavier; she even cooks for him, sews his buttons, plays piano, and sings for him..."

Adrian: She’s never sewn buttons for me!

Adrian was fuming with jealousy, his fists clenched tightly, unfazed by the doctor’s attempts to stabilize his heart rate.

"Sewing buttons? Ha..."

Hearing Adrian’s menacing voice, Tran could no longer laugh. Already guilty of not protecting Madam adequately and having spoken such reckless words to Adrian, Tran felt his demise approaching.

"We’re on the plane and will reach there in about three hours. We’ll contact you once we’re there. Protect Madam well!"

"Yes!" Tran answered respectfully, not daring to joke anymore.

"Sewing buttons, playing piano, singing? Sienna Johnson, you’ve got guts!" Adrian seethed through gritted teeth.

Adrian hadn’t said "You’ve got guts" to anyone in years.
