The evening clouds turned darker and the guests already started arriving for the auction house. This would be the first time a different diamond brand aside from the Blackwood’s were hosting an auction for diamonds and they were eager to see how good their diamonds were.

By this time, words had already spread across the city about who the diamond queen was and her judgment of her family. They say she’s authentic and had rejected bribes from her sister who thought they could bribe their way to the top.

Everyone frowned at the Blackwoods company as they criticized them. Many said this was what they always did, fighting people or bullying them with money to get to the top.

They even recounted Harlow’s confession that was taken down in less than an hour after being sold to so many people in news outlets and Magazines. In that article, Harlow had accused her father of stealing her designs.

Most people claimed she left the company because she saw whatever they did.

The diamonds for auction were present at the backstage as everyone waited to be entertained. They were ready to spend their money if the items were good enough.

Frank and his family didn’t stay for the auction. After the humiliation Harlow caused them, they left. Tonight they have lost everything they thought they owned. First, his company that he couldn’t save, and now, his diamond company. And Harlow has been the one to destroy it completely.

The only thing Frank had to his name now was his real estate and a few investments he made. He doubts that would be able to sustain their kind of lifestyle. Not with Elisa and Claudia’s ridiculous spending lifestyle.

"I told you that girl could not be trusted but you never listened." Elisa cried out. The humiliation they had all faced today will forever be inpritedvon them. They will never be able to recover from it. Frank didn’t care about the humiliation, all he cared about was his lost business.

He thought this business would have been his new ticket back to being the powerful man he was but no. All the wealthy friends he thought he had, were all running away from him.

No one wants to be associated with Frank Blackwood anymore, the former most powerful and wealthiest man in the country. How Frank lost everything was still a mystery to him.

"All this would not happen if you hadn’t tried to bribe Harlow. You know she’ll always use things against us." Elisa blamed her daughter for the first time since she was born. For the first time, Claudia had finally done something wrong in her eyes and that’s because her name was affected too.

"How can you blame me, mother? How would I know Harlow would be the diamond queen? And who the hell does not accept bribes?" She asked.

"Not everyone accepts bribes, Claudia. Even if the world is filled with evil and foolish people, there are still a few disciplined ones. Those that keep to their morals." Frank interjected. They would have won against Harlow today but Claudia’s desperate decision made them lose.

"What do we do now Father?, We’ve lost the company as well as the diamond company," Claudia asked.

"We’ve truly lost everything child, we’ve lost everything," Frank said. "But at least we still have each other." He added with a smile. Since Harlow wants to be an enemy of their family, she should be, at least he still had Claudia and Elisa

He wished he had listened to Elisa when she said Harlow was evil. He can as well now will all of his remaining properties to Claudia. She has proven to be a faithful child.

"What do you mean us?" Elisa asked and Frank’s confused gaze met hers.

"I meant I still..."

"Have us to suffer with you?" She interrupted his words.

"Mother."

"Stay out of this Claudia," Elisa yelled at her daughter. "When I married you Frank you were rich and had a lot of money. Don’t expect I and Claudia to still stay if you have nothing to offer." She said.

"But I still..."

"Nonsense Frank, if you cannot afford our lifestyle then you’re no man. I and my daughter will not reduce ourselves to that level." She said.

"I’m giving you just a week to get things settled, else, I will leave you," Elisa said. She had nothing to lose, she had no child for Frank or anything. She had enjoyed his wealth for years and now it’s gone, she will be gone too.

She could not bear the societal humiliation and shame if Frank finally goes bankrupt.

"Welcome to the supreme diamond auction." Richie was the announcer for tonight. They all were still in shock that their dreams were finally coming through. These people have no idea who Harlow Blackwood was, if they knew, they would all be kissing her feet.

"The first item to the auctioned tonight is a piece of the Eternal Blossom diamond collection. These pieces are handpicked by the diamond queen herself. And you all know what that means." He laughed and the others caught the joke and laughed too.

"So the first item is going out for 10million..."

After auctioning all the items they had, Harlow finally made history as the biggest diamond auctioneer in the globe. She has made billions ten times more than her father did when he stole her ideas and sold them as his.

"Now you’re done with your work, can you let me take care of you tonight?" Alanis asked his wife as they reached the car. Harlow couldn’t say no, she was too exhausted to argue so she agreed. After all, Alanis will never harm her.

"Boss," Richie called when she was about to go with Alanis. They had planned everything, they’re supposed to party tonight after a successful event.

"I’m sorry Richie, you all can party without me. I’ll see you tomorrow" Harlow said calmly as she was led into the car along with Charlotte who didn’t move a muscle because she was already exhausted. But she sure did buy a new diamond piece today just to support her beautiful daughter-in-law.

A black limo moved through the city at medium speed and stopped when it arrived at a familiar gate. The silver gate yawned open the moment their car arrived and the chauffeur drove through.

Harlow smacked her lips as she slept on Alanis’s shoulder, the same with Charlotte who lay on the other side of the leather seat. Both women looked completely drained.

Alanis stared at his sleeping wife and smiled. This is the Harlow he knows, the one didn’t know about. After all of her bossing and controlling by day, she was a little woman who needed all of the love and care by night and he was here for it.

When they arrived at the huge mansion, the butler and a few maids helped carry Charlotte into the huge mansion, which looked different from the last time. Harlow had given him just three days to change everything in the mansion and he did so while also being there for her needs too.

If this is the sacrifice he has to pay for playing with her in the past, then so be it.

Alanis carried his wife gently from the car in bridal style, her head resting gently on his shoulder as he carried her inside.

"Welcome master Hamilton." The butler greeted.

"See to it that my grandma is very comfortable Beaver."

"Yes sir." The man bowed gently.

Alanis used the elevator as he carried his wife into the master’s suit. Once he entered the room he used his legs to close the door and placed the woman in his hands gently on the bed. Harlow opened her eyes mumbling a few unintelligent words before.

He sat by the edge of the bed as he removed her heels. His skillful hands moved to her hair as he started removing the hairpins and everything she added to her hair. He removed her jewels, the necklace, bracelet.

He lifted her a little and her green eyes met his, "What are you doing?" She yawned still feeling so sleepy.

"Making you comfortable, trust me, sweetheart," Alanis said gently as pulled her zipper and started removing her dress. He took out her bra and her two well perfectly shaped breasts dangled before her eyes.

Alanis fought the urge to squeeze it with his hands and make her his right now. He couldn’t touch her without her consent which would be losing the one woman he had spent months winning over.

He slipped one of his shirts on her body before gently laying her on the mattress.

Harlow slept like a dead person, the past few days have been hectic. From Charlotte Hamilton’s party to her competition and auction and tomorrow she still had a big reveal. The final reveal that will get Claudia and Elisa out of her father’s life for good.

Both women deserve nothing but the worst for what they did to her.

Once Alanis was sure he had kept her well, he went ahead to change his outfit before slipping under the covers too to sleep. While Harlow handled other things, he had equally been busy too, with the company and redecorating this mansion to her taste.
