The Broken Halo-Chapter 205: What To Do?
Despite the chaos, deaths, laughter, and lives of everybody in the world, time kept on moving and waited for no one.
The following day came, and the world itself seemed to have forgotten about the battle that occurred between Simon and the Iron Fangs.
Because the base of the Iron Fangs was in a secluded location, and because the destruction caused by the usage of chaos was only the headquarters of the Iron Fangs and it’s nearby surroundings, none came to interfere or arrest Simon and the members of the Iron Fangs on that day.
However, the authorities would still question the Iron Fangs and Akaza because it was their job to ensure that what occurred was not a gang battle that could escalate into something more serious.
As for Simon?
He was safe and sound because not only was Akaza and the Iron Fangs under his control, he had not broken any rules.
He was not the one that initiated the fight.
There were witnesses who saw that he was brought to the headquarters of the Iron Fangs, so this was proof that he did not go to the Iron Fangs looking for trouble.
He also did not kill a single member of the Iron Fangs. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
All the dead members of the Iron Fangs were killed by their comrades, not by him.
He was also not responsible for destroying any property of the clan like the building.
So, he was safe.
Everything turned out the way he wanted.
No.
In fact, it turned out better than he wanted because of Akaza.
Akaza was going to be a useful tool for him, and he was going to make use of him as he wished.
Although the world itself seemed to have forgotten about Simon’s battle with the Iron Fangs, what it had not forgotten were the daily early morning drills.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Multiple sounds of explosions shook the dorms of the Year One Initiates, and Simon and his peers quickly dashed out of their rooms.
This time around, many of them were prepared and it was not as chaotic as before.
Especially those who were late on the previous day and were punished as a result ran with vigor and an immense desire to get to the academy early.
The attacks, traps, and fake roads were the same, but many of them were prepared.
It was still as chaotic as before and many were pushed off the cliff and were attacked, but compared to the first day of school.
It was a lot better.
Some moments later, Simon and some of his classmates arrived at the academy entrance where Instructor Valdin stood with his arms folded and his gaze scanned every single one of them.
Everybody went silent and did not dare to say a word.
They waited till it the deadline came, and when it did, they entered the academy.
As for those who came late, they were being punished by the academy.
Instructor Valdin gave them a few words before leaving, and though he said nothing wrong or did not show it, those who were perceptive had this feeling that their class instructor was not in a good mood.
Simon also noticed this, and though he could not see Instructor Valdin’s face, he could guess why the Instructor was not in a good mood.
’I guess they’re looking for Thorgan. They know that something’s wrong, and an investigation is definitely being carried or about to be carried out.’
’I would soon be called and questioned.’
Although a tiny part of Simon felt slightly anxious at what could happen, this part of him was extremely tiny and negligible.
He decided to shift his thoughts to something that was currently more important at the moment.
Classes.
Instructor Valdin had left them, and what they had to do now was attend the classes of their choice.
’Today, all the classes we have are for the Body Pillar, and the first class in the morning is the Physical Training class.’
’Hmm.’
Simon pondered on whether he should attend this class or not, because the truth was that he didn’t actually need it.
His physical strength was on par with Archfiends who had Noble Bloodlines and he had a feeling that none in his class could match him when it came to physical strength.
’Maybe one or two might be dark horses and would shock the entire class with a physical strength that’s comparable to mine. But for now, I believe that I’m the strongest in my class.’
’The Vertical Mobility class is three hours later. If I don’t attend this class, what do I do in this three hours?’
’I shouldn’t cultivate for now until I’ve been interrogated because if my cultivation rapidly increases again, more questions and suspicions would be thrown at me.’
’Although I’m rich now, I can’t buy any artifact that’s too expensive yet. It’ll expose a few things and cause some annoyances.’
’Then what do I do? Hmm...’
’Train my skills? I can’t use the Chaos Sword or practice the sword techniques of the Sword Daemon. I’ve also not awakened my chaos, so I can’t practice using that.’
’Maybe I can pay for a specialized lesson in fist, kicking, and claw techniques. I need to learn how to use my hands, legs, and claws more effectively. So, I should pay an Instructor to personally teach me. The academy should have some instructors that can help me with that.’
’But the issue is that I have the money right now, but I can’t use it until maybe... tomorrow.’
’Sigh. I’m rich, but I can’t use my riches.’
"Let me just go for the physical training class and see how it is. It’s better than being idle for hours."
With a soft sigh, Simon moved away from the balcony he was leaning on, then he went to the classroom where the physical training class was being held.
But the moment he opened the door to the classroom, he heard a woman shout.
"DROP AND GIVE ME A THOUSAND!"
