The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 104: From Now On, He Will Be Her Backer
Yelena Hughes did not expect him to use this posture.
She turned her head and glared at him, "Do you think you can just ignore whether other people live or die?"
Jasper Yale bent down, wrapped his arms around her waist, his voice somewhat husky with strain. "If it really hurts too much to bear, just shout, and I’ll definitely take you to the hospital."
In the room next door.
Shawn Thorne perked up his ears. Did he hear wrong? It sounded like Yelena Hughes’s voice.
He dragged a chair over to the wall. Yelena Hughes might not be making a sound now, but Jasper Yale’s voice was no stranger to Shawn Thorne.
Afterwards.
Jasper Yale touched Yelena Hughes’s arm and shamelessly asked, "Did it pull straight? Doesn’t hurt anymore, right?"
Yelena Hughes didn’t reply, Jasper Yale’s palm rubbed her scapula, "You’re shaking so much."
She had been through so much today, she didn’t want to move or talk.
She wanted to sleep for a while.
Jasper Yale withdrew, giving her back a pat, "Let’s go."
Yelena Hughes stretched her sore legs straight and tightly wrapped herself in the blanket. If she slept for an hour before going home, it shouldn’t be too late.
Jasper Yale got off the bed, seeing no movement behind him, he turned to look at Yelena Hughes, her face against the pillow, ready to take a good nap.
"In this place, can you really sleep?"
Outside, it was noisy, and there were footsteps upstairs, with a peculiar smell lingering in the room.
If he despised it so much, why was he just engaging in activities on this bed?
Jasper Yale indeed wasn’t fond of it. If not for Shawn Thorne being next door, he would’ve certainly taken Yelena Hughes to find a decent hotel.
After getting everything ready, seeing Yelena Hughes still lying there,
Jasper Yale simply wrapped her in the blanket again, bundling her up like a dumpling, then lifted her up to walk out.
Yelena Hughes’s body twisted like a silkworm cocoon. "What are you doing? Put me down."
Jasper Yale walked to the door, opened it, and boldly carried her out.
"Where are my clothes?"
"Shawn Thorne’s paws touched them, better not to want them."
Yet under the blanket, Yelena Hughes had nothing on.
She kicked both legs, and Jasper Yale kindly reminded her, "Your legs are already showing."
Hailey Jenkins walked ahead, not forgetting to carry Yelena Hughes’s bag.
He pressed the elevator button. As soon as the doors opened, Jasper Yale carried Yelena Hughes inside.
Looking like this, she would surely attract a crowd. Yelena Hughes buried her face in the blanket, not daring to move.
The car stopped at the hotel entrance. After getting in, Yelena Hughes heard Hailey Jenkins ask, "Boss, where to?"
"It’s getting late, take Miss Hughes home."
"Just like this...?"
"Why not?" Jasper Yale held the person in his arms, "Just drop her at her doorstep."
Hearing this, Yelena Hughes popped her head out, "At least give me some clothes."
"But it wasn’t me who took off the clothes you were wearing."
Jasper Yale was a bit angry. How could she be so bold to single-handedly threaten the people of the Thorne Family?
Thinking about how Yelena Hughes almost got devoured without leaving a bone behind, Jasper Yale’s anger flared up again.
"Then to a hotel."
Wherever Jasper Yale went, surely many people would recognize him. Was he planning to parade around holding her?
Yelena Hughes said no, "Boss, just spare me this once."
"Then tell me, where to?"
"Help me get some clothes. Once I’ve put them on, I’ll go home, okay?"
Jasper Yale saw her as really clueless, "Let’s just go to a hotel."
"Don’t..."
"Just head towards her home." Jasper Yale here, as if leading a puppy.
Yelena Hughes truly feared, "I’ll listen to you, just don’t go to crowded places."
The car soon turned into a high-end residential area. Yelena Hughes hadn’t been here before. Luckily, it was one apartment per floor, and she didn’t encounter anyone until Jasper Yale carried her into the house.
The man set her down. She was barefoot, surprised to feel warmth underfoot.
The lights in the house were also on. Yelena Hughes looked around and appreciated the expansive view a flat provided. The wide floor-to-ceiling windows merged the swirling clouds outside with the floor inside.
She tightened the blanket around herself. Jasper Yale went straight into the kitchen, returning with two bottles of water. "Hungry?"
Yelena Hughes nodded.
Jasper Yale told her to take a few steps towards him, unscrewed a cap, and drank half a bottle, "Want some water?"
Her mouth was dry, she hadn’t touched water all afternoon, "Yes."
Yelena Hughes thought Jasper Yale would hand her the other bottle of water, but he unexpectedly gave her the remaining half.
She held it up, lifting her head high so that the bottle mouth didn’t touch her lips, and took a sip.
Jasper Yale’s face darkened slightly, "Disgusted?"
Yelena Hughes still wanted a second sip, but the bottle was snatched back by Jasper Yale. He took a gulp of water but didn’t swallow.
When she saw his hand reaching out, she realized what he intended to do.
She quickly pressed her lips together. Jasper Yale pulled her close by the waist, and as his lips touched hers, Yelena Hughes cried out.
"I... I can drink it myself."
Jasper Yale pinched her cheek with two fingers, she opened her mouth, and the water was slowly fed into her.
As his tongue pressed against hers, she couldn’t close her mouth and could only swallow it all down.
When Jasper Yale released her, he snorted, "Others would kill for this privilege, yet here you are."
He handed her the bottle of mineral water, "Need me to feed you more?"
She shook her head and obediently drank from the bottle.
The way she drank was quite cute, her small mouth just around the bottle opening. Even though she was thirsty, she took small sips.
Suddenly, it ignited a fire within him.
Jasper Yale bent over to whisper into Yelena Hughes’s ear, "You look like you’re about to give me a blow."
"..."
Yelena Hughes quickly set the bottle aside, her face flushed as she looked at him, and Jasper Yale walked off with a smile.
"What are you standing there for? Keep drinking."
She was no longer thirsty at all.
Yelena Hughes placed the bottle on the table, Jasper Yale reached over to lift her and set her on the edge of the table, "Don’t move."
He went to fetch a first aid kit, pulling out some cotton balls and iodine, "Let me see your hand."
Yelena Hughes extended one hand first, the skin on her wrist chafed and broken, clearly painful at first glance.
Jasper Yale applied medicine, and she flinched in pain.
"If you can’t take it, just shout." Jasper Yale looked up at her.
"I can take it."
Jasper Yale deliberately pressed a little harder, and Yelena Hughes just gritted her teeth.
After finishing, he shoved the first aid kit aside, "Don’t do such things again in the future, if you have difficult matters, come to me."
"Come to you? What makes you think you’d help me?"
Jasper Yale placed his hands on either side of Yelena Hughes, "I can help you."
"Anything?"
Jasper Yale gazed at the face before him, unable to shake off that image from his mind. How desperate must Yelena Hughes have been to take such a jump?
When he saw it, it left him feeling empty inside.
Jasper Yale had never been so stunned before.
He straightened up, reaching for her face. Yelena Hughes watched as he leaned in, but his kiss only landed on her cheek.
Seemingly, with a hint of tenderness.
One kiss wasn’t enough, he kissed her again.
"Yes, anything at all."
