Chapter 37: Closing the Deal

Half an hour later, there was a knock on my door. I got up from the sofa and walked to the door to see Eman and Darjan standing outside. The two of them were pointing their guns at me, my face grew in terror as I saw guns pointed at me.

"Wow, what the fuck are you doing, fuckers?" I asked, raising my hands up and feeling a sense of fear.

Both of them started laughing.

"Pfh HAHAHAAH, got ya bro. Did you really think we'd shoot you, hahaha?" Eman said, entering my house and throwing his gun on the couch.

"Boss, don't piss yourself, please hahaah," Darjan joked, tapping my shoulder lightly and sitting down on my couch.

"You motherfuckers, hahaha," I laughed in relief. "So, are you both ready?" I asked, settling on the couch as well.

"I'm ready to kill some motherfuckers!" Darjan screamed in excitement.

"Shut the fuck up, man. What if the neighbors hear you,"

Before we could settle comfortably on the couch, I abruptly rose and made my way to put on my shoes. They mirrored my actions, standing up and joining me. Exiting through the door, we headed toward their scooters.

Eman and I hopped onto his scooter, while Darjan rode his own. Before starting their engine Eman and Darjan looked at me for instructions.

"The fuck you looking at me for? Head to Adem's house,"

"Right," they replied in unison.

Engines roared to life as they started their scooters, and we headed towards Adem's house.

As we rode through the city, Eman's voice carried an apologetic undertone. "Hey, man, I just wanted to say sorry for being hesitant about carrying my gun. I know you're looking out for us,"

"It's all good, bro. Just stay focused on the job," I replied.

"Yeah for sure."

As we neared Adem's residence, Eman and Darjan parked their scooters nearby, and we continued on foot.

I couldn't let Adem noticing us arriving at his house on scooters while I speak about being a big organization with a lot of power, I mean what kind of prominent organizational leader come to a business meeting with a scooter.

Again I was astonished by the huge gate he had. A guard noticed us standing there and came to ask us why we were there. I explained that we were here for a business meeting with Adem, and he immediately opened the gate for us.

"Boss has been expecting you" The guard said.

As we walked towards Adem's mansion, we passed through his beautiful garden where he was diligently tending to the flowers. Adem spotted us and his face lit up with excitement.

"Well, well, well! If it isn't my friend The Nameless. Oh, how I've missed you!" he exclaimed, putting down his gardening tools and walking towards us shaking my hand.

"It's good to see you, Adem," I replied, returning his warm greeting with a smile.

"Good good lets head inside, we have serious business to talk about after all" Adem wasted no time with chit-chat and guided us through his grand mansion towards the meeting room.

Once again, the room was empty except for a long table and two chairs. However, today was different. Pia was lying motionless on the table, completely naked and covered in bruises with a leash around her neck. I was shocked at the sight of her. Adem noticed my reaction and remarked,

"Friend, don't you like this artwork?"

Without hesitation, I replied, "No, not even a little bit. What the fuck, Adem? I agreed to lend you my property, but I never told you to destroy it."

"Hmm, but I thought you would like it. After all, you look at humans as property." Adem countered.

Disgusted, I replied, "Ugh I don't care. You'll have to compensate for the property damage."

"What?" he explained and walked up to my face staring me down aggressively.

Tensions rose quickly, Eman and Darjan positioned themselves closely behind me, while Adem's guards did the same for him. However, it was clear that we were not evenly matched. I had only two men armed with pistols, while Adem had ten times that number and heavier weaponry at his disposal.

After a few seconds of tension, Adem decided to break the heated atmosphere.

"Wow, it seems like every time we cross paths, we come close to killing each other, hahaha. But let's not go to such extremes over some smelly girl, right?" he chuckled. "Don't worry, my friend. To make amends, I'll add an extra $1000 to the ecstasy purchase. Will that satisfy you?"

"Fair enough," I replied.

We both laughed it off and sat down at the long table.

Taking my seat, I couldn't help but steal glances at Pia, who laid motionless on the table. It was clear that she had suffered greatly under Adem's sadistic tendencies.

Interrupting Adem mid-sentence, I commanded Pia to come to me. Immediately she crawled over to me and kneeled at the side of my chair. Despite Adem's annoyance, I didn't care.

I asked her if she was alright, and she nodded hesitantly, clearly still shaken by the ordeal she had been through. I apologized to her for what had happened, hoping to offer her some small measure of comfort. We gazed into each other's eyes, It felt like one of those romance mangas, where the background blushes pink and roses gracefully dance across the screen.

...

"Anyways..." Adem broke the heartfelt moment. "You brought the ecstasies, right?"

"Yes"

"Great, so 7$ a pill right?"

"Yes"

"A reasonable price. I like it. Deal"

Without wasting time I handed over the bag filled with 1500 ecstasy and, in return, he brought a briefcase overflowing with cash. I instructed Eman to carefully count the money, and Adem directed his men to do the same with the ecstasy. Despite the long counting process, we were able to carry on with our conversation without any interruptions.

"The Nameless, I expect the next supply you'll supply with more ecstasy"

"Absolutely, this initial transaction was meant to establish trust between us," I replied.

Adem nodded, reaching for a cigar and lighting it. "Excellent idea. With this arrangement, I can determine the authenticity of the ecstasy without risking significant financial loss, while you can be assured that I will meet your agreed-upon price." He extended another cigar from his box on the table and offered it to me.

With a glance at Adem I accepted it, and he rolled it across the lengthy table.

"Precisely." I said, taking the cigar, lifted my mask above my mouth, and proceeded to light it.

However, as I took my first puff, an uncontrollable fit of coughing overcame me. "Cough, cough," I gasped, struggling to regain control of my breath.

The dumbass I was inhaled a fucking cigar, without knowing I wasn't supposed to do it.

Adem looked at me with his hands on his mouth holding his laughter in. But before he burst out laughing, Eman interrupted the conversation to inform me that he had counted all the money.

"Boss, there is $12,000 in the briefcase," Eman reported, professionally.

I turned to Adem and asked, " $12,000? Isn't that too much?"

"Well, $10,500 for the ecstasy and $1,000 for the girl."

"That's still only $11,500," I pointed out.

Adem shrugged and said, "Well, I just rounded it up."

I couldn't help but shake my head at Adem's lack of attention to detail. I wondered how could such a careless and unprofessional guy make such a big and successful empire. But I knew better than to argue with him over a few hundred dollars, it did benefit me, so I didn't care. With that in mind, I proceeded to take the briefcase and finalize our deal by shaking Adem's hand.

We both stood up from our seat and Adem guided us out of his mansion. Navigating through the huge mansion, Adem and I took the lead, with him consistently talking. Meanwhile, Darjan and Eman followed us silently from behind, accompanied by Adem's alert bodyguards.

Frustrated, I couldn't help but wonder, "How could this middle aged motherfucker be so fucking talkative."

As we were walking away from the mansion, a brilliant idea suddenly popped into my head, causing me to come to a halt and just before Adem ordered his guards to close the gate I turned my head ready to speak...
