I’m a new author. To achieve this kind of success and still choose to drop the book would be completely senseless. I might as well just go back to working a menial factory job.

Before I started this book, in order to get good results, I probably wrote more than ten opening Chapters for different genres and themes. I was dissatisfied with most of them myself. The ones I was happy with, I sent to my editor, Ziliang, but in the end, none of them made the cut. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

So in the end, after all that writing, I chose to stick with the genre I’m best at and love the most: fantasy.

And so, when this book was finally born, I at last received my editor’s approval.

He said, "What the fuck is this shit you’ve written?"

I knew, the moment he said that, that I had already won!

I had won too much!

Very few authors receive that kind of approval from him. This just goes to show that I have extraordinary talent and an astonishing aptitude.

So, I published the book.

All I had to do was write.

And just as I expected, my guess was correct. I had won from the very beginning.

Because I have you!

This book eventually made it all the way to the Sanjiang feature, and even got the "Little Megaphone" recommendation before that. It also reached as high as third place on the overall new book rankings.

And tomorrow is the day the results are put to the test.

I know that tomorrow’s results aren’t the finish line, but a starting line. A new beginning.

So, for everything that comes next, I’m counting on all of you esteemed readers.

Next, let’s talk about the update schedule.

When we go premium tomorrow, I’ll release two Chapters first. I ran out of stockpiled Chapters because I was in the hospital the other day refining a Magical Artifact, as you esteemed readers probably know.

After going premium, the regular daily updates will be 5,000 to 8,000 characters. If I’m not behind on bonus Chapters, I’ll aim for 10,000 characters a day whenever I can.

As for the first-day subscription goal, my editor originally hoped I could hit 5,000. However, the plot has been a bit slow lately, which might have caused some of you to let Chapters build up, so the active readership has dropped quite a bit. (Trust me, the slaughter begins right after we go premium! I know you’re bored and want to see rivers of blood!)

So my own personal goal is to hopefully pass 4,000 first-day subscriptions.

If we pass 4,000 first-day subscriptions, I’ll release one bonus Chapter for every additional 500 subscriptions. (I’ll report the results when the time comes).

As for monthly tickets, I’ll release one bonus Chapter for every 500 we get.

For donations, I’ll release one bonus Chapter for every 20,000 platform coins gifted.

I just did the math. The donations before going premium have already reached 150,000 platform coins. That means I already owe seven bonus Chapters the moment we go premium.
