The Devil's Warrior Queen-Chapter 261: Infernal Powers
Chapter 261: Infernal Powers
Rama was tempted to help Draco as she watched the fight unfold. Her breaths quivered and her body trembled each time an earth quaking blow was landed.
With her vampiric senses, she could clearly see every single sweat drop and seeing the fight so clearly, goosebumps manifested on her skin on how lethal it was.
Her legs moved hesitantly to help, but Draco’s stern warning to not intrude rang in her head, after all trying to help him would be more of a burden to him as her strength was no where near their phenomenal prowess. With not a single doubt, she knew she would be ripped into shreds like a rag doll the moment she stepped a single foot into the battle arena.
She figured it was better to stay alive while she watched from a far distance even as she felt utterly useless.
Her heart clogged in her throat when she saw Morwana stopping as she moved away from Lucifer and Draco to lean against a trunk as she watched them battle relentlessly.
Confusion flitted through her eyes until their gazes locked. Morwana’s gaze was a despairing abyss, pulling her into the magnetic force of darkness.
Rama’s breath hitched as her gaze lingered on her for far too long, rage and unparalleled hate were the only spark of light ignited in the infinite dark hole in her orbs.
She flashed her a maniacal grin before casually averting her gaze as she returned it to the fight.
Rama stole a side look of her before prudently watching the fight between Draco and his father.
Lucifer’s jet-black wings unfurled from his back, casting a pall of darkness that engulfed the battleground. Draco, his visage an eerie echo of his father’s, stood defiantly, wreathed in smoky tendrils of demonic energy. His golden eyes swirling with blood gleamed with determination, channeling the raw might inherited from the depths of the underworld.
The air crackled with malevolent energy as they circled each other, each seeking to outmaneuver the other. Lucifer unleashed torrents of searing flames, arcs of writhing darkness that lashed out with unparalleled ferocity and Draco countered with waves of chilling frost, crystalline shards forming around him, deflecting the inferno with calculated precision.
The devil and his son engaged in a macabre dance of destruction, weaving intricate patterns of arcane symbols in the air. Lucifer conjured forth shadowy minions, grotesque entities birthed from nightmares, to assail his son. Draco undaunted, summoned ethereal darkness from the pit of hell to repel the onslaught, pulverizing the shadowy minions in less than a moment.
Amidst the chaos, the very fabric of reality quivered under the strain of their powers. The ground trembled as fissures split open, spewing forth molten rivers that clashed with icy torrents. Thunderous clashes echoed as the demonic entities clashed, their roars reverberating across the desolate expanse.
Lucifer, ancient and cunning, sought to ensnare his son in an intricate web of illusions, distorting reality itself to confound and overpower Draco. But the young demon, honed by millennia of self tutoring, resisted the deceitful veil, shattering it with a resounding force of will.
With relentless determination, Draco unleashed his darkest sorcery, tapping into depths of power previously untapped. The very air crackled with the intensity of their magic, an aura of malevolence and despair thickening around them.
In a desperate gambit, Lucifer summoned forth the essence of abyssal horrors, seeking to overwhelm his son with the sheer terror they exuded. Draco, his resolve unyielding, delved into his inner sanctum of strength, harnessing the primal fury of his lineage to banish the horrors back into the void.
The conflict escalated to a crescendo as the devil and his son stood locked in a titanic struggle, the clash of their dark powers threatening to tear the fabric of existence asunder. Lightning arced across the sky, illuminating the battlefield in stark flashes of brilliance, casting an eerie glow on their contorted faces locked in a battle of wills.
Wiith a surge of unearthly power, Draco unleashed his ultimate gambit, channeling the accumulated darkness within him into a singular, devastating onslaught. A cataclysmic explosion of arcane energy rent the very fabric of reality, engulfing both combatants in a blinding vortex of chaos and destruction.
As the maelstrom subsided, a haunting silence descended upon the desolate plains of Voltaire Empire. The devil and his son lay motionless on the scorched earth, their forms wreathed in residual tendrils of fading darkness.
Lucifer cast a side long glance at Morwana and then she stepped into the battle ground, face to face with Draco whose chest was heaving heavily with fiery determination like a malignant creature of the darkness ready to devour them whole.
His eyes glowed with an infernal intensity, reflecting the malevolence that coursed through his veins. The air crackled with raw energy, anticipating the clash of their opposing powers.
The goddess, with a gesture of her slender fingers, summoned a swirling miasma of shadows that encircled her like a protective cloak. Wisps of darkness lashed out, coalescing into skeletal hands that reached for her foe. The devil’s son smirked, conjuring searing flames that wreathed his body, casting an eerie glow across the forest.
With a gesture akin to conducting a macabre symphony, the goddess commanded the shadows to surge forth, intertwining into serpentine tendrils that slithered toward her opponent.
Draco countered, unleashing waves of seething flames that clashed violently against the encroaching darkness, filling the vicinity with a chaotic display of clashing elements.
Morwana, undeterred, channeled her dark powers to summon spectral apparitions that materialized from the gloom, haunting echoes of departed souls. These phantoms, with hollow eyes and spectral wails, surged toward Draco, aiming to distract and drain his malevolent energy.
In response, Draco invoked his infernal heritage, commanding the flames to intensify and manifest into towering pillars of fire that engulfed the spectral entities. The grounds of the forest trembled with the force of their conflict, the air thick with the acrid scent of burning ethereal remnants.
As the battle raged on, the goddess of death maneuvered with a grace that belied her eerie presence, dancing amidst the shadows and weaving intricate patterns in the air. With a whispered incantation, she summoned an ancient dark essence from within her imbued with the core of mortality itself, aiming to weaken Draco by sapping his vitality.
Draco, sensing the impending threat, unleashed a devastating torrent of hellfire that seared the ground, creating a blazing barrier between him and the dark essence. The flames roared in defiance, consuming everything in their path with an insatiable hunger, thwarting the goddess’s attempt to harness her malevolent power.
However, Morwana was cunning. Drawing upon her vast knowledge of the arcane, she manipulated the very fabric of death’s domain, creating a chilling aura that seeped into the Draco’s soul, sowing seeds of doubt and despair.
Draco, momentarily faltering under the weight of the oppressive aura, struggled to maintain his composure. Yet, fueled by his infernal heritage and unyielding resolve, he rallied, countering with a surge of raw demonic energy that shattered the oppressive aura toward the goddess.
In a crescendo of dark powers colliding, the forest echoed with their relentless struggle. Each of them pushed the boundaries of their abilities, locked in a deadly dance of shadow and flame, weaving a tapestry of destruction and desolation.
Morwana stimulating her rage and spirit of vengeance, hauled at Draco with a murderous glint in her shadowed eyes.
For the first time, Rama saw Draco stagger back as he swayed weakly to the side. Using her vampiric senses, she could hear his laboured breathing as he leaned against the trunk of a tree while clutching his chest.
The realization hit her as it became aware that it was yet again the effect of the shadow bane dagger taking a toll on him. Her palms became sweaty, drops of cold sweat broke on her forehead and down her back as she watched his energy ebb within a twinkle of an eye.
Hearing Malika groan and sob behind her, she turned swiftly to look as she averted her attention to them while Malika tried with futile attempts to release Zamiel from Lucifer’s impenetrable entrapment.
She darted her eyes back to Draco as he suffered silently in the agonizing pain scorching within him, but not a single sound of pain escaped his lips as he gritted his teeth unnervingly. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
Morwana, summoning shadowy wisps of darkness weaved it toward him, emitted from her slender fingers. The shadowy wisps stretched forth as they writhed like snakes crawling through the suffocating darkness, and lunged toward Draco who was too weak to evade it as he was busy battling with the inner battle within.
Rama’s heartbeat stopped for a millisecond as she weighed the chaotic situation, and at that inauspicious moment where her mind was suddenly toppled over in disorientation and dread, she had never felt so drained of hope and filled with pessimism until then.
Hauled by a disheveled mind and a sense of protectiveness, she drifted through the wind as she sped toward Draco, as she shoved him aside to evade Morwana’s dark powers.
