The Eclipsed Bloom-Chapter 123: Attention
"HOW dare you?"
Hemiros turned her head slightly, eyes narrowing. Behind her, Varek’s body shifted, bones cracking as he fully transformed into a towering humanoid werewolf, muscles bulging with power and rage.
Raising a brow, a smirk tugged at Hemiros’s lips."Wow, looks like you’re used to getting beaten. You heal so quickly."
Varek froze mid-step, her words piercing his pride. For an instant, an image of his mother beating him mercilessly flashed in his mind. His claws trembled, and he involuntarily shuddered, trying to shake off the memory.
Hemiros’s smirk faltered slightly as she noticed his sudden calmness.’Why did he calm down? I was looking forward to beating him more if he lost control.’
Before the tension could break, a ripple of energy tore through the space. A burly man materialized beside Varek, draped in a blue robe, his grin wild and teasing.
"What, Varek? Did you lose to her in just one punch? Tch."His mocking tone earned him a furious glare from Varek.
"Shut up, Zeus! If you’re so confident, why don’t you try beating her yourself?" Varek snarled.
Zeus’s grin twitched and faltered. His eyes turned to Hemiros, measuring her, a cautious glint replacing his mockery."Lady of Love... why did you escape the seal?"
Hemiros let out a melodic chuckle, covering her mouth with the back of her hand. As she laughed, a soft pink aura began leaking from her body, spreading like a haze of intoxicating smoke.’Why would I stay sealed when my love is outside? Do they really think I’d remain trapped forever?’
The moment the pink mist touched the air around them, Odin, Zeus, and Varek froze. Their breathing hitched, pupils dilating as an overwhelming trance overtook them. They couldn’t tear their eyes away from her face, their thoughts clouded with a strange, consuming desire.
Sensing their lustful stares, Hemiros’s expression twisted with disgust. In an instant, she waved the back of her hand, dispersing the pink smoke. The spell shattered, and the gods snapped back to reality, panting lightly.
’Tch... I hate this power of mine. Only my darling has the right to see me like this.’
Zeus shook his head, clearing the fog from his mind, and his playful demeanor was gone. His tone turned serious."Hemiros... you’re still powerful enough to ensnare even us in a trance."
Hemiros groaned under her breath, placing a hand on her hip, her aura flaring with impatience."I’m leaving. If you three don’t want to fight, then stay out of my way. Those two brats should have been with my wife. I won’t let anyone steal my wife."
With that, her figure blurred and vanished into thin air.
For a long moment, Odin stood with his mouth agape, speechless."H-hey, Zeus... did I hear that right? Wife?"
Zeus nodded slowly, his expression incredulous as he met Odin’s eyes."Yeah. You heard it right."
Varek returned to his normal form, folding his arms with disdain."Why are you two acting like you just heard some heavenly prophecy? So what if she’s married? Aren’t you both married too?"
Odin and Zeus exchanged a glance, the same thought crossing their minds: ’Did that imaginary wife really materialize?’
Odin coughed into his fist, forcing his expression to remain calm and dignified."So... what do you think we should do now? She said she has a wife, so she wouldn’t destroy the realms, right?"
Zeus’s eye twitched, clearly unimpressed with Odin’s attempt to sound wise."Odin, why don’t you just admit you’re afraid of fighting her? Even her laugh was enough to put us in a trance."
Odin’s glare sharpened, his spear and armor dissipating into golden particles."Who said I fear her? Even in our previous battle, I was the one at the front, leading the charge against her."
Zeus nodded slowly, his expression calm but his tone cutting."Yes, you were at the front... and also the one who got beaten the most."
"Youuuuu—!" Odin’s face turned red with anger as he stepped forward, ready to retaliate.
Varek crossed his arms, a sharp grin stretching across his face."Ah, this is entertaining. It’s not often I get to watch you two bicker like children."

"Sister, don’t tickle! Hahaha—!"
Cathan sat on the other bed, watching in disbelief as Zara played with his little sister.Even he couldn’t believe how quickly Tania, who was usually reserved and quiet around strangers, had opened up to her.
"Hehe, kiddo, I’m just getting started," Zara said with a mischievous grin, her fingers wiggling menacingly.
Tania burst into uncontrollable laughter, clutching her stomach as she rolled around on the bed. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"Hey, you. What are you doing?"
Zara froze mid-movement, turning her head slowly. Standing by the door was Hemiros, her face clouded with anger.
Zara chuckled nervously and sat back."What do you mean, Hemiros? I was just playing with Tania."
Hemiros stared at Zara for a long moment, her expression unreadable, before shifting her glare toward Tania. Without a word, she walked over and sat beside Zara, wrapping an arm tightly around her waist as if to stake her claim.
Zara gave an awkward smile, glancing around the room only to find Tania peeking out from behind her brother with curious, wide eyes.
Zara leaned closer and whispered in Hemiros’s ear."Hey, there are little kids watching."
Hemiros tilted her head, looking at Zara as if she didn’t understand the issue."So what if they are watching? You are my wife."
Meeting those intense pink eyes, Zara sighed in defeat."Yeah, yeah... do whatever you want."
Turning back to Tania, she softened her expression and smiled gently."Tania, do you want to eat something?"
Tania’s eyes lit up instantly, and she nodded enthusiastically."Mm! I’m hungry—I want to eat."
Zara chuckled and glanced at Hemiros."Hey, let’s go. Tania is hungry."
Without waiting for a response, Zara stood up and walked toward the door, her hand reaching back to help Tania down from the bed.
Hemiros’s face darkened slightly. She wanted to glare at the kids again but stopped herself, knowing Zara would scold her.
’Tch... If I had known Zara would give so much attention to these kids instead of me, I would never have agreed to let them stay here.’
