When Eliron arrived at the village, he was assaulted by a crowd of people, each of them watching him with concern.

Naturally, they all gave Sabrina the stink eye, instantly realizing that she must have been the assassin sent after him.

Worst of all, they nearly had a heart attack when they saw the dragon-like monster following Eliron around.

So to prevent any misunderstandings, he spent the next ten minutes explaining everything to them, all while having Yennefer on his back.

Lazarus and Zenith spoke to him for a short while as well, and Eliron assured them that the threat had passed.

During the attack, he had instructed them to remain at the village, in case any threat slipped through Ash and the others’ guard.

Thankfully, they did not get any action.

He also met up with Artie and Ash on his way back. They spoke breifly, seeing how exhausted they all were, Eliron allowed them to retire to their huts, deciding that they would meet up later at night.

When Eliron finally got home, he was faced with a rather odd dilemma.

He walked into the house, then Sabrina entered after him, after which he paused and glanced back.

"What am I going to do about you?"

The wyvern was standing by the door, its massive head alone too big to properly fit through.

"Hryuuuu." The wyvern tilted its head slightly and growled, as though begging to be let in.

"What am I going to do? I can break down my door, can I?"

Sabrina then said, "I think it just wants permission to enter. This wyvern is actually rather polite."

Elirom rolled his eyes. "Well, if you can enter without breaking my door, then be my guest—"

Just as Eliron was completing his sentence, right before his eyes, the wyvern shrunk in size, and sauntered in, its head held high, and a cocky look on its face.

Eliron sighed, a small smile on his face. "Show off. Don’t break anything."

He went up stairs and placed Yennefer on her bed, covering her with the fur blanket before going back down.

"Phew..." Eliron sighed, sitting on the floor.

He was still rather dirty, so he could not afford to stain his couches.

Throughout his running around, Sabrina had been following him quietly like an assistant, watching everything with curious eyes.

She had spent most of her life imagining what Artaris would be like, now that she was finally here, she couldn’t help her curiosity.

’I need to get a bath...’ Eliron thought. But he was too tired and lazy to move.

While he was trying to convince himself to shake off the laziness, a screen suddenly appeared in front of him.

Thankfully, Sabrina and Tiny were moving around the house, exploring it, so they did not notice his reaction.

From the moment he had gotten this quest, Eliron had been confused about what the rewards were.

’Elven Evolution.’ That was the only detail that was given.

Initially, he thought it would mean an evolution of his bloodline, but now, Eliron was sure it was something else.

In front of him was a transparent system tab that was light green in colour, while the texts were gold.

Eliron continued reading, going three words at a time.

One issue he had when it came to the wood elves was that unless you were born a noble, your advancement was already cut down from the start.

Knights basically had five realms of ascension that were checked and officiated by the imperial assembly.

Meaning even if you were at this rank in terms of power level, you had to receive official certification.

These ranks were as follows...

Knight, Lieutenant, Minor Commander, Commander. The final Rank was then divided into three based on your weapon specialization.

Sword Saint was for those who mastered the art of sword Fighting, Bow master was for archers, and Ace Berserker, originally for axe wielding fighters, was now used to represent all other weapon types.

Without mana, like most of the wood elves, it was impossible to even become a knight, talk less of advancing further.

But now, with the elven evolution, not only could he advance them to such levels, he could even take them higher!

What was more broken than that?!

Even Artie and Ash would benefit from this, as it meant they could advance far faster than the average person.

With this, Eliron could close the impossible gap in strength between themselves and other races!

A wide grin appeared on his face as he returned to the screen.

> Evolution points can be obtained in two ways. The first is through monumental feats, and minor achievements.

There are hundreds of achievements ingrained in the system, completing any of them would grant you some amount of evolution points (EP).

The second method is through improving the lives of the elves. Expanding your military, increasing your connections, creating infrastructure... all these would award the host EP.

When Eliron was done, he closed the status screen, satisfied by what he had read.

He was already planning on improving the lives of his people, so it was basically like being rewarded for free.

Then he glanced at Sabrina who was looking at a wooden figurine above the fireplace.

Eliorn focused, and then a faint golden hue appeared above her head.

He mentally willed it to open.
