The F-Class Healer Omega is a Villain [BL]-Chapter 45: Goodbye
Chapter 45: Goodbye
"You can take a year off. Your hunter card won’t be suspended."
Yoon Seoyul offered, but Kim Ryung smiled slightly—his way of politely rejecting the suggestion. Cheon Areum didn’t stop him from handing over the resignation letter again. Kim Ryung bowed as he left the office, while Cheon Areum sat on the couch. Yoon Seoyul moved the papers from his desk to the table in front of the couch and sat beside him.
"Are you sad about him leaving?"
"Yeah. I never got to fight alongside him in a dungeon..."
Cheon Areum nodded and pouted, visibly upset. Yoon Seoyul stared down at him intensely.
"Don’t do that."
"Do what?"
Confused, he tilted his head, bearing the burning stare head-on. Then, without warning, Yoon Seoyul leaned forward and cupped his face, pressing a firm, fleeting kiss to his lips. Just as abruptly, he pulled away and returned to reading through the thick pile of reports stacked in front of him. His brows slowly furrowed, and he looked away with a frown. Slouching deeper into the couch, he pulled up his information panel, fingers swiping and tapping rapidly. He opened one tab after another, searched again and again—but no matter how many times he tried, he couldn’t find it.
"Yoon Seoyul, do you have a special skill?"
Pausing for a second, he resumed, answering bluntly.
"No."
Was he mistaken then? Cheon Areum thought the S-Class awakeners would usually get a special skill too in this storyline, but that might have been from another book. Maybe it had been a while since he became Cheon Areum, but his past memories were starting to get a bit hazy. For example, the address of his house—he couldn’t remember it at all. Though he might never need it now.
At first, he hadn’t paid much attention to it because he wasn’t an S-Class now. Not sure if S+ Classes got the same treatment. Even the main focus of his abilities had shifted. Cheon Areum, originally an S-Class, was known for stealing souls. His other skills weren’t well-known either. Most even forgot he was also a healer. But now, since he had used his abilities in a different way, he had gained another skill: Mind Corruption. The only reason he awakened as an S+ Class was because of this skill alone. That meant Cheon Areum had never been able to manipulate or see negative energy until he came along, blindly diving into the unknown.
The name of the special skill, however, matched the focus of his skills—Soul Intertwine.
"Are you lying to me? You have a special skill, don’t you?"
"I don’t."
Without lifting his head, Yoon Seoyul spoke steadily.
"Whatever. Is there an S-Class gate scheduled for tomorrow?"
"There is, but you don’t need to clear another gate for a few more days."
"Keep the entire budget for me then."
"You’re planning to go alone?"
Yoon Seoyul narrowed his eyes questioningly. Defusing the bomb before the timer could start, Cheon Areum smiled and patted his back in a carefree manner.
"Don’t worry, you’ll be coming with me. But I’ll get all the money for the dungeon since I’ll clear it alone."

Glancing down at the ice cream freezer, Cheon Areum casually reached in and picked out two chocolate ice pops. He checked out, walking out of the convenience store down the road to the nearby park. Kim Ryung had messaged him to come down to the park, probably getting his number from Yoon Seoyul. Without asking too much about it, Cheon Areum had agreed to come—and while he was going there, how could he miss the chance to get a treat for himself?
Under the dim glow of the park’s flickering street lamps, Cheon Areum scanned the quiet surroundings. The cool night breeze brushed past him as his eyes landed on Kim Ryung sitting alone on one of the swings, the phone screen illuminating his face in the dark as he texted someone silently.
Without a word, Cheon Areum made his way over, the gravel crunching softly under his shoes. He took the empty swing beside him, its rusty chains creaking as he sat down. From the plastic bag in his hand, he pulled out a chocolate ice pop and silently extended it toward Kim Ryung.
"Haeun?"
He asked with the ice pop in his mouth. Kim Ryung looked up. Grabbing the ice pop from him, he locked his phone and put it in his jacket pocket.
"He becomes anxious easily without me these days."
Kim Ryung scratched his head and smiled. He seemed quite happy about that, in Cheon Areum’s eyes.
"He’s still in the early stages of pregnancy, right?"
"Mhm. It’s only been a day."
"Yeah, that’s why..."
Cheon Areum answered slowly, only just registering what he’d said. freёweɓnovel_com
"...Huh?"
One day ago? Kim Ryung woke up and got straight to baby-making? Or did Haeun baby trap him? Wild scenarios began flooding his head, but they weren’t that far-fetched if you think about it...
"The hair tie you wore today reminded me of something I had forgotten to give you back."
Not wanting to comment on that, Kim Ryung changed the topic naturally.
"I believe this is yours."
In his palm was the black butterfly hair tie he had looked for everywhere. Who knew Kim Ryung had it all along?
"Yes. Thank you..."
Securing the hair tie in his inventory, he decided to give it one last shot.
"Are you really going to retire as a hunter?"
"I can’t do anything that risky now, can I?"
"You can just avoid entering the high-class gates."
"Haeun doesn’t like it. If he doesn’t like it, I won’t do it."
With a firm resolution, there was no way Cheon Areum could convince him to stay.
"You’ll still see me in commercials and dramas, though."
"I’ll look forward to your acting then."
Cheon Areum smiled, remembering the first time they met—back when he’d proudly declared himself a fan. And he still was. He would just be cheering Kim Ryung on in a different way now.
