The First Cultivator - Changing Existence-Chapter 855: Issues -
Chapter 855: Issues - 855
At the tip of his finger appeared a small sphere of Chaos Qi. Before fully comprehending the nothingness, it was nearly impossible to create anything outside of his body, and Chaos Qi, the only thing he had been able to create outside of his body without it instantly disappearing, only lasted moments. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
But now, he felt he could sustain it much longer. The only issue was, it still wasn’t infinite. However, the Universe itself was the key to solving that problem. He had studied the walls for countless Sage Years, and he was confident in recreating them.
The Sphere of Chaos Qi, hollow inside, expanded. It was a struggle to literally create something within nothing, but not impossible for him now. Eventually, the sphere became as big as the sun had been before his Mortal Dao had begun expanding everything.
It was extremely difficult for him to grow it any further, and it only grew by mere inches when he put all of his power into expanding it.
So he stopped. He maintained the hollow sphere with his full power and the Rule of Chaos. Inside, he began to add Time and Space Qi. Then, he began to reveal his understanding of these two powers. He had watched the fish and the bird for a while, doing his best to comprehend their powers a bit.
After all, a true Universe did not simply have Time Qi and Space Qi, and it did not simply have the Rules of Time and Space. It had something above even Rules, the Source.
Of course, he was not even slightly close to being able to recreate a Source, but he could do his best to imitate its effects. He messed around with the inside of the sphere of Chaos Qi for many years, before he finally sighed.
The sphere collapsed, and everything inside was devoured by the nothingness.
It was truly an impossibility. He could have indeed allowed it to live on for a few Sage Years, but it was meaningless. It would eventually collapse, but that wasn’t even the main issue. Zhou Fan had just realized that he had no ability to locate a newly created Universe.
There was no space in the nothingness, but that did not mean that the two Universes would be right next to each other. It meant that there was no concept of distance, and therefore, he would never be able to return to the newly created Universe. He needed to create a pathway first, something that defied even nonexistence.
Even if it was a pathway only he could follow. Like a small rope within the realm of nothingness.
Zhou Fan returned to the Universe. Even if he could technically exist within the nothingness forever, it was still tiring fighting against it. Although he had technically comprehended it fully, he could not control it at all. He also couldn’t passively resist it.
When he entered the Universe, he noticed that a fair amount of Sage Years had passed since he left.
As usual, he scanned for promising individuals. Then, his eyes widened in surprise.
He looked over, and a being looked back.
This being reminded him of the Hidden Being, just the complete and utter opposite.
The Hidden Beings grew in power while staying hidden and being unknown, but this new being, who had grown to the Loose Immortal realm already, seemed to grow in power the more known he was.
As soon as Zhou Fan looked at him, his power suddenly spiked, bringing him to the Peak of the Loose Immortal realm.
He smiled with delight. Zhou Fan stopped looking at him and moved. With him no longer looking at him, the man could no longer find where he was. He was clearly saddened, but shook his head and moved on with it.
This man sat on a sun. It was no ordinary sun, as it dwarfed the majority of things in existence. Even the Origin Civilization was only equal to it in size. Countless beings could see it from unimaginable distances away, and they all knew who it represented.
The Champion of the Sun, the hero that destroys the darkness, the one that brings light to the worlds. He was the one who killed evil and represented hope. Countless beings worshipped him.
Others simply knew of him and respected him. Even more feared him. Within the last thousand Sage Years, he had risen to power.
He had done so by stepping over the corpses of countless beings that caused suffering, whether it was a simple murderer or powerful Path Creators. His current target was the Path Creator of Despair, someone responsible for a large amount of human suffering.
However, he was conflicted.
The domain of the Path Creator of Despair was immense and filled with countless suffering beings, human, beast, and monster alike.
By all means, he should go and vanquish the Path Creator. The thankfulness of the countless souls would be unimaginably helpful in his path to power.
However, it was from that very Path Creator’s domain that around half of the power he got on a regular basis came from.
The people inside could see his sun, which gave them momentary hope, hope of the purest kind.
The Path Creator of Despair naturally allowed this. What was more despairing than seeing hope and having it ripped away?
But the Champion of the Sun also had a duty to save all beings. It was something he had dedicated his very life to.
And although the losses would outweigh the gains in the long run, he would do it for the sake of the countless beings.
He represented the sun, the greatest object of hope in the Universe. He brought light to countless beings.
He would not allow his own selfish thoughts to get in the way.
He constantly reminded himself that the only reason he desired power was to help bring light to even more people, and by allowing those he could save to suffer, he had lost everything he stood for.
As always, he reaffirmed his decisions. He WOULD kill the Path Creator of Despair. All that remained was to wait until he actually could give it a go without being flicked to death.
