The First Mythical Dragon: Harem System-Chapter 244: Ask For Help!

While some people were having it somewhat easy, Daki and Jasmine weren't having it easy.

They were currently trying their best to take down one beast after the other and not rush into them like some people in the group did. And even that, the safe decision was proving hard as since the battle started, they were only able to take down a single orc while the others have killed a few now.

And their second combatant was proving difficult to deal with. Though savage and ravage, the beasts had slightly different fighting styles making it hard to take them down with the same method they must have used for the previous.

And right now, the two girls stood beside eachother, weapons in hand as they stared ahead, the orc gripping its huge bony longsword and glaring at them.

"Like, can't you summon your other personality? It will be really helpful right now." Daki asked with a raised brow as she stared ahead, her grip on her whip tightened.

"I wish I can, but for some reason, she refused to come out. Saying that my life isn't in any imminent danger and if I purposely thrust myself in imminent danger to draw her out, that's my own business. Tch!" Jasmine scoffed angrily as she gripped her sword tighter.

Currently, the sword Max gave her was strapped to her waist just in case the one in her hand broke like her previous swords.

"Oh! Seems like you both have been communicating pretty well lately." Daki muttered.

"I guess, you can say that. Though she's an annoying roomie." Jasmine clicked her tongue and before Daki could reply, the beast had enough as it bolted forward at immense speed.

It's longsword raised which it swung vertically towards the duo and with a loud yelp, they leaped away from eachother causing the beast's sword to crash into the ground where they stood a moment ago. Cleaving it clean.

"It's open." Daki yelled as she swung her whip out causing it to crack loudly in the air as it struck the beast in the back.

Though slender looking, the whip carried immense power as it was enough to send the beast skidding backwards as Jasmine leaped into the air, her hands clapsed on her sword which she proceeded to swing down with all her might but unfortunately, the beast had already moved away causing her to strike the ground.

Repositioning itself, the beast bolted at her, it's sword swung towards her exposed back and inches away only for a whip to curl around her waist and drag her out of the way just in time as the sword struck the air with a loud bang.

"Thanks." Jasmine muttered as she took another stance.

"You're welcome." Daki replied as she swung her whip downwards causing it to make a loud bang.

"How do we take the beast down now? Our weapons aren't strong enough, nor are we like the monsters in the group." Jasmine asked as the beast spun around to see them standing a distance away.

"It's body is encased in a kind of armour, the only fleshy part on its body is the neck. And even the thing is thick and would be hard to cut through." Daki analyzed as the beast was now charging at them like a raging bull.

'We need to find a way to strike the neck, an opening. Jasmine's sword is sharp but against a king tier beast, it's still not strong enough.' she thought as the beast appeared in front of them, it's sword swinging from down below at full speed causing them to leap away again.

"Hey Jas, can you ask your second personality to lend you a little bit of her strength? Just a bit." Daki muttered when the beast spun around and swung its sword at her neck causing her to swiftly duck down low by the skin of her teeth.

And then in one fluid movement, she rolled over, moving away as she suddenly shot up to glance towards Jasmine to see her pause for a moment.

"She says she can do that, she wants to see how we handle this so she agrees. You know, I think she enjoys seeing me struggle and suffer for some reason." Jasmine clicked her tongue angrily.

"Good, I will create an opening and also help you get to its neck, all you have to do is make it count." Daki yelled and with that, she darted forward finally going on the offence for the first time in a while.

The beast seeing this, wasn't even afraid as it tapped it's sword on the ground for a few seconds and just in time as Daki swiftly kicked off the ground while the orc lifted its head to trace her whereabouts only to be struck by her whip in the face sending it staggering backwards as she landed back down.

'This pair of boots increases one speed a bit. I haven't been using it forcefully cancelling it's abilities so I guess it's time I use it.' She grinned inwardly as she leaned forward, the ground cracking under her pressure.

She darted forward, towards the staggering beast and she wasted no time in swinging her whip horizontally towards the orc which quickly blocked with its longsword. Before it could still regain its footing, Daki had already moved appearing directly beside him.

She twirled her hand in a few seconds causing the whip to curl around her hand and with all her might, she thrust it forward hammering it into the beast's side and causing it to get hurled a few metres away before it stabbed its sword into the ground.

From the corner of her eyes, she quickly noticed something causing her to turn around to address it.

"Don't move, I can handle this. Just wait until I give the signal and opening before you ac…"

"Look out!" Jasmine shouted as she pointed forward causing Daki to quickly spin around but it was too late as her eyes widened.

The beast was now directly in front of her and it wasted no time in smashing its palm to her face causing blood to spray out as her whole figure was lifted off the ground and hurled away.

"DAKI!" Jasmine shouted in horror.
