Chapter 966: The Suleon!

Elle stood in the room with her eyes fixed on William when suddenly, a golden light engulfed him. It was not long before dark lines also began to gather in the golden light.

Elle felt a shudder when she looked at those black lines. She felt nothing but death from it.

Her face grew uglier as the number of black lines slowly increased. 𝙛𝑟𝑒e𝘸𝑒𝗯𝘯𝗼𝘃el.𝒄𝒐m

There wasn't a single body part left in his body that wasn't injured, but he didn't give up and continued to fight.

Aakesh had told him that his safety was a surety, but William didn't want to give up. It was an opportunity for him to grow even further, and he couldn't give up on that.

William struggled and fought with the horde of hideous beasts. His cultivation was intermediate Higher God, but there were hundreds of peak Higher Gods in the flock, let alone tens of thousands of Higher Gods.

William's chances of winning were dimming slowly as the numbers seemed endless, but his energy wasn't.

William wanted to survive and overcome the challenge, so his struggles got even more violent. Lower level cultivators in the group were in the back. They couldn't injure William, but their attacks did what they were there for.

If one mosquito bit him, he wouldn't care much, but when hundreds of thousands of mosquitoes bit him, he was in trouble.

Time flew by, and William began to fall behind while the number of black lines began to increase surrounding him.

The system was prepared to rescue William once the black lines covered eighty percent of his body.

Time flew by. William suddenly crashed to the ground with no energy left in his body. His eyes had turned blank as his surroundings had become blurry.

There was a mixture of negative emotions on his face as he lost. He wanted to raise his hands and look at them, but he found a horde already there trying to rip it out.

Seeing the scene, William felt nothing as the already dying embers in his eyes began to further dim.

William could see his death coming and knew it was time for the store owner to rescue him, but suddenly, out of nowhere, a blinding light emerged in the sky.

The horde of beasts began to cry out in pain as the presence of light alone was enough to burn them.

'It must be the store owner.' It was the last thought in William's mind when he lost consciousness.

Elle's face had lost all its color as the number of black lines had reached an exaggerated amount. She could sense William's upcoming death. She didn't want to give up on William as he was the next ruler of the Asquith Family. Nothing could happen to William, or the consequences would be too dire for the Sun Elves.

The fear of the barrier around William wasn't enough to stop her anymore as the thought of saving William became dominant. She charged at him when suddenly she was forced to close her eyes as a blinding light appeared out of nowhere and surrounded William.

If Elle could see the scene in front of her, she would see that the light was slowly eating away the black lines surrounding William.

It took less than a second for the black lines to disappear entirely, and after it, the light also disappeared. What was left was only the golden light.

An aura of Sacredness emanated from the golden light as Elle felt warm in its presence. She opened her eyes, and the scene in front of her made her astonished.

Inside the cover of the golden light, William was growing. His height was getting taller, ears and nose sharper, his hair further brightening.

In a span of a tenth of a second, William's hair grew tall enough to touch his foot but then suddenly began to fall off and dissolved into the golden light. William became bald in no time, but his hair started to grow again.

This process continued for several minutes, and William's body entirely changed.

William's eyelids moved, and soon after, his eyes opened. Elle's face welcomed his sight.

William felt his face wet as he saw Elle's tears dripping like an ocean. William wanted to say something, but his face suddenly changed, and a shocked expression appeared.

Elle was taken aback by the sudden change in William, so she hurriedly asked him the reason.

William ignored Elle and instead checked his body. The shock on his face grew further as she found her cultivation, touching the peak of the Supreme God and being only one step away from becoming the Sacred King.

"How is it possible!" William exclaimed in shock, as from what he remembered, he had died in his memory and failed the test. So he didn't understand how he could get the results a winner would get.

William's bloodline had grown to the same level as Asquith's son.

"What happened?" Elle suddenly grabbed William's face and asked.

"EH!" Elle couldn't help but exclaim in surprise as his bloodline suddenly trembled when William looked at her.

William was in no mood to care about Elle at that moment as he forced himself to remember his last moments in the memory.

He was on the verge of death when suddenly a blinding light emerged in the sky, and soon after, he lost consciousness due to mental and physical tiredness.

William clenched his head as he tried to remember the blinding light in the sky.

"Argh!" An unbearable wave of headache attacked William as his eyes began to bleed out. William persisted, as he could feel himself getting close to seeing the actual appearance of the light.

Elle wanted to stop William, but as soon as she tried, her bloodline trembled again, forcing her to take a step back.

Elle had no choice but to go to the store owner, as only he could help her. Today had been no less than a rollercoaster of mental torture for her.

William didn't care what Elle was going through as he attempted to see the light. Several veins on his forehead exploded, and his eyes were on the verge of exploding when he finally saw the being behind the light.

"The Suleon!" William exclaimed in shock.
