The usually mild manner in Jun had his pleas for Shi Lei Hu to let him go turned to profanities in split second.

Shi Lei Hu had never been insulted to this extent had his eyebrows twitched with anger.

"Y-You brat, I'm trying to save your life."

"Save my ass! You just need to screw off old man!"

"B-Brat, I said stop!"

Jun had managed to free one of his hands and immediately began trying to force himself out of Shi Lei Hu's grip.

"Damn it, just let go already. You-"

Jun began saying, but he paused because when he looked at Yang Su with his Karma Eyes he could barely see the other colors of his elements. The red was nearly about to fully devour them.

"N-No!"

Jun reached for Yang Su with his free hand, he was right there but also so far away.

"Senior disciple brother you can't let that power consume you. Senior disciple brother you have to fight back, you can't, you just can't…SENIOR DISCIPLE BROTHER!!"

Tears were streaming down Jun's face as yelled helplessly in Shi Lei Hu's arms.

Shi Lei Hu saw this and thought about his own younger brother. He knew what Jun was going through but that person was no longer his disciple brother.

'That child has been taken over by some entity, I can't even detect his original soul signature anymore.'

Jun muttered for a final time through his sobs, and for the first time, Yang Su's gaze shifted to him and Shi Lei Hu.

Jun seeing this gripped Shi Lei Hu's arm.

"Senior dici-"

Jun was about to call out to Yang Su thinking he had come to his senses somewhat, however, he had to stop as Yang Su suddenly raised his hand and extended an index finger towards them.

Shi Lei Hu felt danger and reacted immediately by pushing his palms forward.

Blood-red flames suddenly sprang from the void to engulf Shi Lei Hu and Jun, however, they were blocked by an invisible wall.

Shi Lei Hu went to swish his sleeves to completely destroy these flames, but he saw something that caused his expression to change and his eyes to widen slightly.

This barrier he conjure was from his comprehension of the Heavenly Laws. He willed for a wall to be in existence and the Heavenly Laws moved to his will and created a wall from nothing.

This was the highest form of Law Manipulation for Soul Transformation Realm cultivators, just by using their thoughts, they could will something into existence. Depending on how deep their Law Comprehension was, they could conjure Daoist Magic Spells from any of the six natural elements that would be many times stronger than what a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator could accomplish.

This was one of the reasons why peak late-stage or Quasi Soul Transformation Realm cultivators could never bridge the gap between them and a true Soul Transformation Realm existence.

But this cultivation rule, something that was a norm in the cultivation world, was being usurped right in front of Shi Lei Hu's eyes.

The barrier he conjured was being burnt away by the blood-red flames.

With a serious expression Shi Lei Hu swish his sleeve and his wall transformed into saber intent that shredded the blood-red flames.

Through the dissipating blood-red flames, Shi Lei Hu stared at the demonic-looking Yang Su and decided to take the initiative to attack.

Like Yang Su, Shi Lei Hu raised his arm and pointed his index finger forward. But shockingly, before Shi Lei Hu could make his attack, Yang Su's ruby-colored pupils swept over him and Jun.

Shi Lei Hu asked as he stared at Yang Su.

After a while he come to realize rather than an entity taking over his body, it was more like some sort of power was awakening within him which was simply being used by that entity. Just like the child he was holding had said.

Shi Lei Hu's thoughts about attacking Yang Su changed, perhaps he should prevent that power from growing in this child.

Shi Lei Hu's index finger turned into his five fingers as he form a saber with his palm.

"Ha!"

Shi Lei Hu slashed down with his hand and the restrictions around him and Jun were broken.

At the same time, Yang Su saw the void in front of him being distorted as a black arc rapidly approached him.

With an expressionless face, Yang Su simply grasped towards the black arc. A large hand made of blood-red flames appeared and crushed the black arc.

However, immediately as the attack was destroyed, ripples appeared in the void that quickly swept over Yang Su.

All of sudden, Yang Su's vision of the world began to fade away in a ripple. Like he was staring at a rippling lake; after it had settled Yang Su found himself in a void-like space.

Yang Su looked around for a moment still expressionless. After a while of sensing nothing, Yang Su looked down at his hands.

He tried to conjure his blood-red flames that disappeared, but after his body was engulfed in them for a brief movement they were suddenly snuffed out of existence. Even his fire cape behind him was fading away.

For the first time, a slight crease appeared between Yang Su's brows.

This world was strange, Yang Su sensed that there was no Spiritual Qi, including the Fire Elemental Qi. Not only that there weren't any Heavenly Laws in this place.

Yang Su clenched his fist before throwing out a punch. A blazing fist blasted out and caused the void to tremble.

Yang Su didn't stop and only continued to throw numerous fire punches in the void.

Since Yang Su could no longer manipulate the Fire Qi in the world, he had no choice but to use his Internal Fire Qi.

However, as Yang Su did this the progress of the Fire Qi from his Divine Platform devouring the others was slowed down to a snail's pace.

In the outside world, Jun saw Yang Su's figure suddenly disappear.

"You-What did you do to my senior disciple brother?"

"Calm down, I used my bit of understanding of space and my Void Blade technique to trap him in a prison between the gaps in chaotic space."

For Nascent Soul Realm cultivators and above, they can use their teleportation innate ability to study how space worked. Jun asked confused, he felt like he understand what Shi Lei Hu said, but upon further thought, he realize he understood nothing.

Instead of explaining things in vain, Shi Lei Hu simply looked at him and responded.

"Your senior disciple brother is fine."

Both of their figures then disappeared before reappearing above the ship.

Shi Lei Hu let go of Jun on the ship, but because the effects of Yang Su's restriction hadn't worn off fully his legs suddenly buckled. However, Lihua hurriedly caught him before he could fall.

"But senior, he-"

Shi Lei Hu waved his hand to cut off Jun before he said.

"From what you said, it seems his condition is similar to my nephew Wu Kai's condition. Inside that prison he's unable to call upon any Spiritual Qi, so he would be forced to use that power that's trying to take over him to break out."

Jun hearing this didn't need Shi Lei Hu to explain further.

If Yang Su used up all of his power to try and get out the power would weaken, giving a chance for him to regain his senses.

Jun sighed in relief, but at the same time felt extremely depressed.

Because he was weak the only way he could help Yang Su was to sacrifice himself. But with the involvement of Shi Lei Hu who was a power Soul Transformation Realm cultivator, the problem he saw as a major disaster was potentially solved with a wave of his hand.

Jun tried to cup his fists and bow but he was too weak.

Shi Lei Hu waved his hand dismissively and said.

"No need, rather, I want to know what happened. Where is Sea King Modu? And…"

Shi Lei Hu glance around the ship with a solemn expression before he continued.

"…Where are your elders?"

Shi Lei Hu then looked back at Jun, before sweeping his gaze over the others who had gathered to check on him. He saw an expression of blame on their faces.

"Senior, it's our fault. To protect us and elder brother, the elders they...they were killed by Sea King Modu."

Shi Lei Hu sighed before he went to look away and asked about Sea King Modu's whereabouts, however, his body suddenly jolted.

The void where he trapped Yang Su suddenly distorted before Yang Su's figure appeared. Immediately, his blood-red flames returned and burst forth with momentum, twisting and distorting the void.
