"Bang!"

Smoke rose heavily on the battlefield.

"Kill, for our god, kill them!"

A barbarian general roared loudly, wearing armor mixed with animal hide and iron, wielding a pair of axes, charging forward with a roar.

An instant light bullet flew by, piercing the general's head on the spot, creating a gaping bloody hole. Another enemy's corpse fell.

In the distance, an elf ranger lowered the magic power firearm in his hand.

He checked the firearm in his hand, sighed, "Only five shots and it's done, what a piece of junk!"

Although he said this, he still obediently disassembled it and put it into his space waist bag, and then took out his bow and arrow.

With a gust of wind under his feet, he leaped forward, his hands continuously drawing the bow.

The gun was broken, so he could only rely on the bow to shoot up close, but with five magic bullets, he precisely singled out and killed the commanders ahead of the barbarian race.

"Earth Vein Wall, rise!"

A loud shout came from nowhere on the battlefield, a rumbling sound erupted, shaking the entire battlefield.

The ground cracked open, and all the mud and stones began to press upward, as if being grasped and pinched by a pair of invisible giant hands, raising an earth wall six meters high and stretching for several kilometers.

It firmly blocked the rats' charge path, and at the edges of the wall, spikes protruded, causing some unsuspecting enemies to collide into them, instantly being pierced through.

"Thousands of Fireballs!"

Under the guidance of a mage commander, a multitude of mages waved the metal magic staffs in their hands.

One fireball after another arced through the air, falling from behind the city wall.

Like a sudden rain of fire smashing into the rat camp, instantly igniting a blazing fire, burning the rats as if they were kindling.

However, more rats continued to charge forward. Those rats frightened by the flames were forcibly pushed forward.

Their bodies turned into bridges, into flesh ladders for climbing over the city wall.

Several dwarves riding griffins flew in the sky, flying hammers wrapped in electric light whizzed back and forth.

With a crash, a rat riding a giant bat was smashed into a clump and fell from the sky.

"Tsk, damn rats, trying to fight us on bats!"

The dwarf on the griffin cursed, catching the returning flying hammer with a reverse grip. As though sensing something, he immediately rode the griffin in a spiral downward maneuver.

Several green lights flashed past the spot he had just vacated, which he narrowly avoided.

Looking back in an instant. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

There were three more giant bats, but seated on them were black-robed rat priests.

The dwarf knight tightly gripped the flying hammer, sharply scanning the enemies in the sky. Taking a deep breath, the griffin under his command swiftly dove, its wings cutting the air, emitting a sharp whistle.

The black-robed rat priests, evidently not anticipating the dwarfs to react so quickly, their green magic beams shot again, only hitting the lingering shadow in the air.

"Come on, you filthy rats!" The dwarf knight roared, the flying hammer let loose with thunderous force, straight at the nearest giant bat. The hammer collided with the bat's body, erupting in dazzling electric light, the giant bat let out a shrill scream, plummeting to the ground with the priest on its back.

More flying hammers whistled through the air, shooting in from elsewhere, although the rats were numerous, they weren't fighting alone.

Meanwhile, the ground battle reached a fever pitch.

Rangers traversed back and forth on the city wall, arrows raining down on the charging rat army.

From time to time, they could still be seen firing magic bullets from experimental firearms.

Night watcher rangers' archery was superb, each arrow hitting its mark, shooting rat after rat to the ground.

Yet, the number of rats seemed endless, their corpses piling up like mountains, but more rats continued pressing forward over their companions' bodies.

"These rat bastards are getting harder to handle."

The "Earth Vein Wall" remained unshaken under the mages' maintenance, but the warriors defending atop the city wall felt the pressure mounting.

The Fireball Technique had effectively delayed the rats' advance, but the mages' magic power was depleting rapidly. A mage commander waving his magic staff shouted loudly, "Hold on! Our reinforcements will be here soon!"

A troop of wolf cavalry rushed in to support, their battle wolves stout in limbs with fur bristling like steel needles, their eyes glinting with vicious green light.

The cavalry draped in heavy armor, wielding long spears or war axes, faces painted with battlefield glory totems. The lead wolf cavalryman raised a flag emblazoned with a roaring wolf's head, letting out a resounding wolf howl, "For the kingdom, for the United Army! Charge!"

The wolf cavalry swept in like a gale, their speed tremendous, piercing into the side of the rat army in no time. Long spears pierced through rat bodies, war axes cleaved open enemy heads, the cavalry charge like a sharp blade slicing fiercely into the enemy ranks.

However, the enemy's formation quickly changed as well. Barbarian warriors emerged from behind the rat army, hulking figures, muscles knotted, wielding giant axes or heavy hammers, clad in mixed animal hide and iron plate armor.

Their faces painted with blood-like hues, eyes burning with fervent combat spirit. The barbarian general brandished a giant axe, roaring mightily, "For our god! Annihilate them all!"

A vast red glow began spreading not only through the barbarians but the rats seemed to grow even more frenzied.

Simultaneously, the ground began vibrating violently, gigantic rat giant beasts started to emerge slowly from the battlefield's rear.

These giant beasts towered at ten meters, their bodies covered in thick carapaces, tusks sharp as long spears.

Every step made the earth tremble, belching corrosive venom, withering grass and trees, and corroding the ground into deep pits wherever they passed.

The elf ranger, standing on the city wall, furrowed his brow. He quickly drew his bow and arrow, aiming for the eye of a rat giant beast.

An arrow shot like a meteor, striking its target precisely. The giant beast let out a pained howl, frantically thrashing its head, yet its charge continued, more frenziedly rushing the city wall.

"Damn it, the controller's not in the eyes anymore."

The elf cursed, swiftly relaying the information through their channel.

Not even a month and the information had gone stale.

A month ago, these war rats' weaknesses were discovered and exploited, yet now those weaknesses had been fixed, one had to admit the rats' efficiency was ramping up.

"The Earth Vein Wall can't hold any longer!" a mage shouted out. The wall, under the rat giant beasts' assault, started showing cracks, mud and stones tumbling down. The mages struggled to maintain the spell, but the giants' power was overwhelming.

The wolf cavalry, observing the situation, immediately dispatched a squad towards the rat giant beasts.

The leading wolf cavalryman brandished a long spear, as his battle wolf leaped straight for the giant rat's flank. The spear pierced between the rat's armored scales, green blood gushing out. The rat howling in pain, thrashed wildly, flinging several wolf cavalry away.

The barbarian warriors joined the fray too, engaging the wolf cavalry head-on, their giant axes clashing with spears, sparks flying. The barbarian general laughed maniacally, swinging an axe towards a wolf cavalryman, the battle wolf deftly dodging, but the axe wind still slashed through the cavalry's armor.

The battlefield situation once again came to a stalemate.

The elven ranger drew a deep breath, taking a shimmering silver arrow from his space waist bag. Lowly murmuring a spell, moonlight softly enveloped the arrow. He drew the bow fully, aiming at the barbarian general's heart.

"This shot is for victory!" he murmured, releasing his fingers. The arrow sliced through the air with unstoppable force, aimed at the target.

However, just before hitting, a rat from the shadows sprang up and blocked it.

The arrow pierced through the rat, hitting the target with its corpse, but the shot was no longer lethal.

The barbarian general roared, "Cowardly sneak attack!" tearing the rat corpse from his body, crushing it and hurling it to the ground.

In his rage, his head was severed.

A night watcher assassin melted back into the shadows.

In the heart of the defense.

Kana, holding the Stone of Creation, entered the tower.
