Ash was dedicated to Odette. They trained rigorously for two years, Odette a force to be reckoned with. A hurricane. Her powers have grown. Secretly she’d been practicing fir magic, but Ash forbids her from tampering with magic he didn’t think she was ready for. Elemental magic was wild magic, used by witches or casted in spells by wizards, it was rare for other species to have the elements, let alone have an affinity for all of the elements. Fire magic was the most dangerous. Her telekinesis had grown tremendously, she could lift objects and throw them, if she was close enough to someone, she could throw them or even choke them. The closer she was to an object the stronger her ability was. Her wind abilities could also influence her telekinesis, strengthening it. To even the trained eye, she could be deadly.

Violet still hasn’t told Odette about her truth. But with graduation here, Violet thought that after she was done with high school, and before she started college, that would be a good time. No more stressing school, just a nice summer break, a chance to deal and learn about her new truth.

Violet had it all planned out. Ash and her would meet with the witches and she would be told about the prophecy and her place in it all. She told herself over and over again that this was the right way to do it.

Today was Odette’s last day of school. Violet and Ash both knew that today was important today, she would be fighting to win her spot on the stage. To show case her skill and grace.

Violet and Rosa both worked tirelessly with Odette to perfect her sword dancing performance.

When Odette came home from school and Violet laid eyes on her daughter, she knew everything. The win at school and the moment Kalvin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Violet took her daughters hand in hers and squealed when she saw the gem.

"It’s so beautiful. He did good. This is an excellent choice." Violet examined it. It was a red diamond cut into the chape of a heart. It looked powerful yet delicate on her soft white skin. The ring truly complimented her hand.

"Thanks, mom." Odette blushed feeling embarrassed, she could see Ash’s face, it looked like displeasure, which there was a bit, but that was just his typical face. He wasn’t thrilled about the idea of having a human mortal in his blood line. But whatever his little princess wanted, she’d get.

Odette wasn’t a needy child; she wasn’t high maintenance in the way someone would imagine a typical princess. She demanded space, time, and movement. Ash was grateful of her simplicities.

Violet leaned in on Ash’s shoulder and watched as their daughter gave Kalvin a small kiss before departing.

"So, you beat her good? But showed restraint?" Ash asked walking Odette to the kitchen, they crowded around the table and maidservant Kim was in there making hot chocolate and tea for the princess and queen.

"Yes, I was very memorable, she nearly let herself fall unconscious before she considered yielding, so I choked her with my telekinesis. I used my air abilities to manipulate my body in space. Giving me the advantage, but I didn’t overdue it, because I know, people aren’t to see what I’m truly capable of." Odette explained to Ash about the fight, her moves, and even how Raven sulked after losing.

Ash nodded. A glowing pride resonated in his chest, filling him with a sense warmth. A small smile tugged at his cheeks.

"You’d did good, don’t disappoint me with your sword dance tomorrow. Your Mammy asked me to record it for her. She will be arriving after. She is stuck in hell right now.
