After their time by the fire, and arguing over their current relationship status, they decided they should return to her camp. She was all worked up over taking him back with her, and everyone seeing her like this. The reputation she made of being a deadly and ruthless demon was about to crumble.

Walking through a portal he made, they were back.

The camp site was busy, people moving about, working, heading toward training grounds. However, the minute the two of them stepped through the portal, they were met with armed guards.

"Stand down you idiots." Lilith was back to her cold vicious self. But the Leviathan wasn’t the least bit surprised by it. Actually, he had a sly grin pasted on his face. He enjoyed seeing his little fiery queen.

"Apologies, Queen Lilith, we thought it was an intruder." One solider said with his head bowed and kneeling low.

"Get lost before your face pisses me off." Her tone was icy. If Leviathan didn’t know any better, he would have thought she’s the Queen of Ice and not the Queen of the Damned.

The soldiers scurried off in a hurry. Not wanting to risk their heads for an honest mistake.

"That was quite harsh, my queen. I found it extremely attractive, and it only makes me want to fuck you more. And I didn’t even know that was possible." He was hellbent on seducing her again. He couldn’t get enough of her.

"Is that all you think about? If it is, I shouldn’t have brought you along. I’m preparing for war." She groaned. Being away from his layer helped clear her head some. Still though, every time she looked his way, her heart would flutter, with butterflies dancing in her stomach.

"I think about eating flesh too, though not yours, at least not in that way." His smile was positively sinful, and it made her want to bend over a table right then and there. Despite her annoyance with him, she couldn’t get past how complete she felt with him next to her.

"What am I even going to do with you?" She rhetorically asked rolling her eyes and throwing her hands up in surrender.

"I don’t know, guess we’ll figure it out won’t we?" He replied sounding cockier than ever.

"Sure, just don’t get in my way, that’s all I ask." She said firmly.

"Yes, yes, fine, fine." He brushed her off. But he would respect her quest.

"I’m serious." She replied shooting her a curt look.

"I know." He sounded unamused. But a slight smile was hidden in the corner of his lips. One that couldn’t be seen or noticed if you didn’t know him well enough.

They hurried over to her own tent, where she planned to change.

He walked in her tent and was pleasantly surprised to see how luxurious it was.

"This isn’t half bad, for a tent." He sounded micro aggressive, but he was truly impressed. The Leviathan was a mystery, not just with his attitude, but with his thoughts.

"I mean it’s war, it’s not like this is my house. I’ll have you know, my house is very nice. Not as unique as yours, of course, but still nice."

"I’d love for you to show me sometime. Especially your bedroom. I’d love a chance to fuck you on every surface of your house." He didn’t let up, making the sexual tension between the two intense.

"I need to change and meet with my family before the sun rises." She moved swiftly through the tent, searching through her clothes. She wanted to wear something sexy, yet casual. She did, after all, have a man to impressive.

’Wait why am I trying to impress a man?’ Lilith asked herself.

"Well, you better hurry, darling, the sun will be up sooner rather than later." He sat down at her table and poured himself a glass of water. He was feeling parched being away from the water for so long. He wasn’t used to it. His dimension was still in the water. The air didn’t affect him the way it was here.

Lilith walked behind her changing wall and stripped, putting on a long black dress, that hung loosely on her body, but yet somehow managed to still look sexy.

She came out from behind the wall.

Leviathan’s eyes scanned over every inch of her body. Licking his lips like he would devour her whole.

Lilith’s cheeks burned under his lustful gaze.

"You look good, are we ready?" He asked standing up.

"We? No, I need you to stay here, I can’t just bring a man home in the middle of war, my great granddaughter might end you. She’s changed recently, and honestly, she’s become a bit scary, even for me." Lilith confessed as she replayed the last few weeks events in her mind.

"Absolutely not, I told you before. I refuse to hide." He was firm and deliberate with his language.

"No. I’m telling you, My great granddaughter will eat you alive. Violet is something else entirely now, it’s not worth the risk, give me the chance to talk and let them know, that man eating grandmother, has a man she likes, and doesn’t plan to eat.

"Fine, but I won’t late long. I’ll get bored, and maybe I’ll cause some mayhem in the camp grounds and get myself in big trouble

." He used a mocking tone when speaking to her.

She shot him daggers for glares. "Don’t you fucking dare, Leviathan. Don’t cause any trouble, I’ll burn you with dragon fire, fuck around and find out."

Lilith absolutely no room for negotiation. He was to stay put or face the Queen of the Damned.

"Fine. I’ll stay here. But do hurry, if I get bored, I will come find you." He was honest about his intent and he also wasn’t going to budge. They were in a standoff, neither willing to concede.

Lilith rolled her eyes, and stormed out of the tent. ’I dare you come find out. See how string you are against a family of the strongest vampires and ones with massive trust issues.

Lilith made it to the council tent and everyone was inside.

"Ah, we were just talking about you." Vlad said.

"All great things I hope." Lilith responded.

Violet looked at Lilith and growled. "You smell wrong." Something inside Violet was pissed about Lilith’s scent.

Violet for a reason she didn’t know or understand, felt betrayed, and it angered her.

"Excuse me, Violet, what are you talking about?" Lilith narrowed her eyes and her brows knitted together with anger. The air had dropped 10º since the two started speaking. Unspoken danger hung in the air like standing on the edge of the cliff in the pitch black darkness of the night.

"I mean I hate how you smell it’s repulsive and making me angry. Why do you smell like that? Who were you with to make your smell change that much?" Violet snapped

"The Leviathan in case you forgot, to get answers." Lilith growled back.

It became a stare down between the two women. Both on edge, both seemingly ready to gouge the others eyes out.

"ENOUGH!" Vlad stood so fast the chair behind him

"What she smells like doesn’t matter, sit the fuck down. And Mom, tell us what you learned during your time with the Leviathan."

"Thank you, Vlad." Lilith said taking a seat.

She went in to explaining what she learned, conveniently leaving out the part of sleeping with him and bring him back. Lilith was undecided if she should mention his offer help. But before she could say anything.

The Leviathan entered the tent, he felt ancient, the ages of wisdom and power cultivation radiated from him. He embodied unbelievable amounts of raw ability. The whole room felt his presence heavy and powerful.

Everyone except Violet.

His appearance suddenly before her sent something in her body soaring with rage, desperate to break free. It was racking the inside her head like tennis match. Violet started twitching, her eyes narrowed harshly onto the Leviathan. Her gaze so intense and heavy, it could crumble a mountain.

When the Leviathan walked in, he was assaulted by a sent of rotten eggs and ash. It was a smell he recognized, a smell that triggered the smallest flicker of fear in his heart. His aura felt just as rotten as his smell, it was like something that had died a long time ago. How could these people stand here with this scent? Could they not smell it?

He looked around the room, trying to find the source of the familiar smell. His eyes landed on Violet.

And his heart stopped. He couldn’t believe it.

"Ah fuck, you’ve got to be kidding me."
