The Gigolo System in the Academy of Magic-Chapter 20: A Long Night [R-18]

Instead of a hooded villain, standing in front of James was the figure of Kira Nocturne. She was looking at him curiously.

"What are you doing here?" Even though it was not what he expected, James still didn't relax. He took a few steps back while his hand inside his robes held his communicator tightly.

"I should be asking you that. This is the noble sector, commoners don't come here. I saw you walking around suspiciously so I followed you."

James looked at the beautiful girl's expressionless face. She made it sound so reasonable, but who would follow a random person just because they seemed suspicious. What was she, the campus police?

Today she seemed strangely interested in him.

James was unsure what to say. He didn't want to use Selena as an excuse, and there wasn't really any good reason why he should be here. But then again why should he explain himself to her?

So the alley quickly returned to silence as both people stopped talking.

After a while, Kira spoke again:

"You're different today..."

"Well you need to change when you're someone like me in a place like this. You would never understand." James replied grimly.

He knew that after his match with Darien people would start looking at him differently. But this is what he hopes for. After all, he can't always keep pretending to be a nervous, stumbling wreck. Let them think that after he gained a little bit of power he became inflated.

But Kira...clearly she wasn't talking about what happened during the tournament.

He didn't understand her aim. They were never close before so why was she paying attention to him now?

Actually, there is only one reason he didn't immediately start treating her as an enemy. James glanced above her head and concentrated slightly.

It increased from yesterday. Could they be considered acquaintances now? James smiled slightly, then took one last look at Kira and walked away.

A few minutes later. If James was still there he would see that the raven haired girl was now talking to herself in the abandoned alley.

"I was unsure yesterday but you are right, he has changed."

"I don't know. Even if he does have it, what can we do?"

After James left the alley he quickly made his way to Selena's manor. To be honest, the only reason he dared turn around back then was because Selena had already arrived nearby.

This time it was just Kira, but James couldn't say that he was happy. After all, one of the reasons he made such a big commotion today was to incite Ryan Everheart to take action. He would have to check his dorm room tomorrow, if there was still nothing there then maybe he really needed to rethink things.

Even though James wanted to finish what they started in the hospital bed, he didn't immediately rush to Selean's side. He asked to use her practice room and then began trying his two new abilities.

[Shadow Step]

In the large room a figure suddenly disappeared from his location, and then in a blink of an eye he appeared in a different place 10 metres away.

"200 mana?" This new ability was powerful but it was too costly.

"Also ten metres seems to be the limit, the same as the distance for shadow manipulation..."

James thought maybe this was the limit of Lvl.1 abilities, if he wanted to improve he would probably have to improve his magic level so he could get more power from his Abyss Walker bloodline.

[Shadow Space]

The shadow behind James began to squirm at this moment, in an instant a small box of darkness only a few centimetres across began to float up towards him.

"It's so small? Can I really put things in here?"

James wanted to test it out but when he saw his mana draining steadily he quickly cancelled the ability. [Shadow Space] didn't use as much mana as his other skills but the problem was as long as it was activated it constantly ate away at his mana.

Of course, considering he had only conjured up a small box the actual consumption wasn't much, just a little higher than his natural mana recovery. But he could feel that as long as he increased the size of the space the consumption would also increase exponentially.

James tested out his abilities for a while until his mana was almost fully consumed. By the time he was finished it was already late into the night. When he finally returned to Selena's bedroom the light was off and only the moonlight outside illuminated the room.

"What are you doing here?" Selena sat up on the bed and asked with a stern expression when she saw him walking towards her.

"Sleeping of course?

"You can sleep in the guest bedroom."

James ignored her and got into the large bed. When he saw Selena begin to stand up he grabbed her arm and sat her down again.

"Don't leave me right now. I was a little scared before, I want to hold you."

Seeing his serious face, Selena finally relented and they both fell into the bed. They were under the same quilt but Selena was sleeping on her side with her back turned to him. This time she was wearing a loose nightgown so the curves of her body could be seen clearly.

After a long time, James spoke:

"Are you sleeping?"

There was no reply.

Seeing her exposed back and the thin straps of her clothes James pulled away the quilt slightly and leaned forward. His lips pressed against her the fair skin of her back and trailed across her shoulders. Being so close, James could hear Selena's disordered breath clearly. He smiled and removed the strap of her dress and pulled them down past her shoulders.

Her beautiful back was completely exposed.

Under the moonlight filtering through the curtains her fair skin glowed like a pale orb. Jame laid his palm on her slightly cool skin and lay it softly against the curve of her back.

Moving his hands forward he traced past her side and reached over to the front of her body. Because Selena was turned over he couldn't see her breasts but he could feel the softness in his arms. He never seemed to grow tired of this feeling.

Her moans were becoming audible. James sticked to her back while kissing her neck from behind and moving his hand back and forth between her breasts. Feeling the heat rising within him, he took her left hand and began to slowly move it down his body.

This time she didn't resist. It seems Selena was going to keep pretending to be asleep.

James once again placed her cool hands beneath his waist. He held her palm in his hand and began to stroke, after a while he let go and Selena took over.

As she continued, both of their breathing became more and more haggard. Finally, James exhaled and his body relaxed. Selena quietly whispered a spell to remove all the excess from her hands. James didn't even pay attention to the system notification, and the two exhausted people fell into a deep sleep.
