The Golden Lord has a perverted SSS-rank summoning system!-Chapter 53: Second Stage (02)
Generally, the gain in base attributes for a warrior advancing from the first to the second stage depended on two factors.
First, their talent.
A higher-level talent gained more base attributes during advancements.
The other factor influencing the amount of base attributes received after an advancement was the warrior’s own level of skill and preparation.
Resources, time, state of mind.
Everything affected the quality of an advancement.
That was what they called the foundation.
To be a powerful warrior, one needed a powerful foundation.
Alaric was relatively weak for a second-stage warrior, falling far short even of Evelyn, who had a Rank C talent and very high base attributes.
Ethan should have been like him, a Rank D talent destined for mediocrity, but fortunately, that Rank S advancement pearl changed everything.
Glancing at his status screen, he just smiled foolishly.
That shouldn’t be inferior to the foundation formed by a Rank A talent.

"Ah... hahaha." Ethan laughed heartily.
If Alaric had made a breakthrough to the second stage as fruitful as his own, Ethan was certain that even with unlimited aura, he would be crushed like a fly.
Fortunately, that wasn’t the case.
He could only imagine how his father would react upon learning just how powerful was the foundation formed by the son he himself had kicked out of his house, the insignificant talent that many believed wouldn’t even be capable of reaching the second stage.
Not that it was of much value.
If Ethan hadn’t been kicked out by his father and activated the system upon arriving there, wouldn’t he still be the same mediocre little shit he was before?
In the end, the death sentence was what guaranteed his greatness.
It was almost a little comical.
Ethan simply swept those useless thoughts from his mind.
He had plenty of free attribute points, but decided to save them for an emergency.
"Hm... System, how do I use the city core I got from the goblin camp?" Ethan asked, returning to his chair.
From the system’s inventory, he retrieved another item.
Although it was called a core, it was more like a card than anything else, roughly the size of a poker card.
"Just tear it up; the effects should manifest gradually throughout the entire territory of Goldenveil."
Following the system’s instructions, Ethan tore up the Rank F city core. It took only a second to notice the difference, with the aura density around him briefly increasing.
It wasn’t much, perhaps five or ten percent, but more than enough to make a difference, especially in the long run, and even more so if he could gather dozens or hundreds of those cores, increasing the aura and mana density in Goldenveil severalfold.
That would not only increase the speed at which talents were cultivated and the power of its warriors, but it would also make the general population healthier.
Gathering as many of these cores as possible and investing everything in Goldenveil immediately became one of Ethan’s long-term goals.
Standing up, he finally left the office, walking to the kitchen, where Alice had just finished preparing breakfast and Evelyn was already eating voraciously.
"Ah... didn’t you even wait for your man?" Ethan smiled, giving Evelyn’s butt a little pat; she had her back to him, devouring a doughnut.
"Hm... you took too long, and these things smell so good." Evelyn didn’t even turn to face him, devouring yet another doughnut.
"I know they are; I made them with lots of love for both of you, hehehe~~" Alice gave a sweet little laugh, moving closer and making Ethan open his mouth so she could feed him.
Obviously, he didn’t refuse such treatment, taking a greedy bite of the fried doughnut in her hands.
It was sweet, but not too sweet, with a crispy exterior and a soft interior.
Receiving an approving look from her husband, Alice couldn’t help but give a cheerful smile.
Bringing the doughnut to Ethan’s mouth again, she paused, sensing his aura.
Even Evelyn turned suddenly, sensing the same thing.
"Did you advance?
"Yes." Ethan nodded with a hint of pride on his face. "That fight with Alaric earned me a lot."
His hands went to Alice’s waist, pulling her tightly against him.
"I want to visit the confluence of the Solene River and Azure Lake today... what do you say to joining me?" he asked.
Lake Azur wasn’t far from Goldenveil. In fact, it was very close.
The settlement lay right in the center of a small passageway only about five kilometers wide.
To the east, there were forests and goblin camps that would end only upon reaching the Kingdom of Burning Ice, from which Ethan had been exiled.
To the west, the forest opened up into a vast, unknown region, home to monsters, races hostile to humanity, and even powerful human settlements that survived entirely independently of the outside kingdoms.
Ethan had heard that there were even fifth-stage experts in that region.
To the north, three kilometers away from Goldenveil, stood enormous and oppressive mountain ranges.
To the south, about two kilometers away, lay Lake Azur, or to be more specific, the confluence of Lake Azur and the Solene River, which wound through the eternal forest, passed along the coast of the Kingdom of Burning Ice, and then flowed into the North Sea.
Although it was quite close, Alice had only been to Lake Azur a few times in her life, and the moment she heard Ethan mention it, she couldn’t help but get excited.
Going to a place as beautiful and pleasant as Lake Azur with her husband was like a dream.
