The Growth of a Titan-Chapter 402- A Great Era Approaching
Chapter 402: Chapter 402- A Great Era Approaching
Sol found this kind of wine extremely beneficial for his cultivation.
In the Mortal Realm, he would have been able to open his acupoints a bit faster if he had used medicinal pills along with his already fast cultivation speed. However, on his cultivation path, Sol decided he wouldn’t use any outside help to boost his cultivation speed and instead keep his body pure.
He had already reaped benefits from this decision when he refined his body for a second time. If he had used pills to open his acupoints then, he wouldn’t have been able to refine his body a second time so quickly due to the impure toxins the pills would have left inside his body.
However, Sol ultimately still wanted to increase his cultivation speed, as the amount of Aether Energy needed to make a breakthrough from the Earth Expanse Realm to the Sky Expanse Realm was absurdly high. His Innate Dharma had reached a bottleneck in evolving so he had to think of another way. Thus, he created this wine!
They were brewed with medicinal herbs and plants rich in Wood Aether Energy.
However, this was technically no different than taking medicinal pills. But Sol realized something about the Life Essence fruits his Innate Dharma bore. Even though they didn’t affect him when he ate them as is, it would be a different story if he added them as an ingredient during pill refinement.
Due to the pure and gentle Life Essence inside the fruit, it practically eliminated all the impurities that the pills would contain after they were concocted.
Sol chose to brew this wine to increase his cultivation speed rather than concoct pills for himself because he was unable to concoct Tier 9 pills as yet. It was easier for him to brew wine using high-tier medicinal plants instead.
Even though the wine might not be comparable to Tier 9 medicinal pills in terms of boosting his cultivation speed, it wasn’t far off so he would gladly brew more wine and drink it in the future.
After draining the wine from the cup, Sol smacked his lips. His face was still slightly flushed but with the continuous circulation of his cultivation, the effects of the alcohol in the wine slowly disappeared.
Resisting the urge to take out another jar of wine, Sol cleaned up the table before he took out his identity jade slip and contacted Woo-Seong.
About half an hour later, a streak of light that was extremely eye-catching in the night sky, made its way from the horizon towards Sol’s manor.
It soon stopped above the manor and the dazzling light faded away to reveal Woo-Seong.
He was tall and well-built. He looked heroic with the sword strapped to his waist. He was wearing the Irregular Dharma’s red robes while his black hair fluttered down past his shoulders.
His red robes flapped slightly as he made his way down to the manor yard.
Woo-Seong at this moment looked far from ordinary. As he descended, he resembled a fallen Immortal descending to the Mortal Realm. It was a completely different look from his once haggard appearance in the day.
After landing, Woo-Soeng hurried over to the table and said.
"Brother Sol, sorry I took so long to get here, the old fogies seemed to have gone mad actually sealing off the entire Academy. Not even the teleportation platforms are working, I had used my identity as the Head Disciple to leave the Irregular Dharma Pavilion Mountain."
"Sorry for calling you here so late, sit."
Sol said this with a smile, but Woo-Seong’s expression suddenly froze. He looked at Sol for a moment before his continence turned somber as he sat down. freeweɓnovel.cѳm
Despite Sol’s smile, he could tell this matter was serious.
"Brother Sol, did something happen?"
Sol shook his head.
"No, I just have a question to ask. Half a year ago, did a Forgotten Genius named Son visit your Wudang Sect?"
Woo-Seong nodded.
"He did, he came seeking revenge for his friends’ deaths. However, after I told him that everyone involved in that incident might have already been sentenced to death by the Shaolin Sect, or had their cultivation abolished, he got angry and lashed out. But after we exchanged a few moves, I offered for him to come inside and look for himself. I also said that we would apologize and even try to compensate him for his lost Innate Dharma if we had to. After that, he calmed down and I invited him into the Sect as a guest."
"What happened to Brother Son afterward?"
Woo-Seong noticed Sol’s address for this person, but he didn’t ask for his relationship with him and instead responded.
"After I showed him around the Wudang Sect, he left in secret. I’m not sure where he is now."
Sol remained silent for a moment, but inwardly he was sighing in relief.
Smiling, Sol reached out his hand.
"You did good."
Seeing Sol reaching out his hand, Woo-Seong hesitated for a moment, but eventually leaned forward.
Sol’s hand that was outstretched patted his head a few times.
Woo-Seong’s face turned slightly red from embarrassment, but he had somewhat accepted his role in this weird relationship between them.
"How was Brother Son’s strength?"
Sol suddenly asked, snapping Woo-Soeng out of his thoughts. His expression became serious as he said.
"He’s weak, extremely so. However, his Innate Dharma can actually form a natural Earth Domain. If I was a normal cultivator in the Earth Expanse Realm, I might not have been his opponent."
Hearing this, Sol thought back to when Son had shown him his Innate Dharma. It was an Earth-type Weapon Innate Dharma in the form of a sword. At that time Sol had been shocked by it because it was already corporeal, a state one’s Innate Dharma would only evolve to after they entered the Spiritual Realm.
After entering the Spiritual Realm, it seemed Son’s Innate Dharma gained the ability to form a natural domain.
Sol had read about Domains in the Martial Arts Library. It was a concept that not many cultivators in the Spiritual Realm would touch upon, only in rare instances in the past had there ever been people who formed one naturally from their Innate Dharmas.
But even then, this type of concept was mostly reserved for Sword Cultivators, without reading in depth about it one might think only they alone can form one.
It was just too rare for one’s Innate Dharma to form a Domain, and the requirements were basically unknown. Even Sol had been surprised that his Innate Dharma could form a Domain.
However, there were some Martial Arts Techniques and Sword Arts if comprehended to a high enough level, could allow one to wield domain-like powers.
After Sol made his innate ability, his Heavenly Domain Fist into a Martial Art Technique, he stepped onto this path, going on to forming Fist Intent before eventually forming a Domain.
Similarly, Woo-Seong’s Wudang Sect’s Taiji Sword Play was such a Sword Art. His brief clash with Althorne saw him use this Sword Art to defend against Althorne’s Domain.
However, even forming an artificial domain was not easy. The Technique had to be at the Heaven Grade, while one’s comprehension of it would need to be at the peak of the Greater Mastery Realm at the very least.
With the difficulty in comprehending a Heaven Grade Technique to such a level, it was the norm that Domain battles start occurring in the Heaven Expanse Spiritual Realm.
However, a Great Era was approaching. The rising talents that appeared in this generation were monsters one after the other, shattering the cultivation norms previously set by their predecessors even forming Domains in the Earth Expanse Realm.
