Chapter 25: Chapter 25 A Monkey_1

Li Qing chuckled, he had seen even her underwear the day before, so there was no reason for him to feel shy around this sister-in-law now.

Just then, Li Qing suddenly noticed the open ventilation duct overhead, with a clump of greyish-yellow hair hanging from it. π—³π—Ώπžπ•–π˜„π—²π•“π—»πš˜πšŸπ•–π₯.πšŒπ• π•ž

"Sister-in-law, find me a flashlight!" Li Qing said.

"Oh."

Han Mei brought over a flashlight, and Li Qing, standing on a stool, shone it into the top of the shed and slowly peered inside.

When the flashlight reached the northwest corner of the shed’s ceiling, Li Qing finally cracked the case.

It was a small monkey, whose eyes glowed a greasy green.

As Li Qing shone the flashlight over, it was still eating cookies, the crunching sound clear and loud.

"Sister-in-law, it’s nothing to worry about," Li Qing said as he got down from the stool. "It wasn’t my brother who came, but a thief slipped in."

"A thief?!" Han Mei gasped in surprise.

"Yes, a monkey, probably came down from the mountain, starving and looking for something to eat," Li Qing explained.

Han Mei heaved a long sigh of relief, "Ah, a monkey."

"I knew it couldn’t have been my brother, nor could he have objected to what’s between us. If he knew that someone was taking care of sister-in-law in the latter half of her life, he would probably be relieved," Li Qing said slowly.

Han Mei shot Li Qing a glance, "Alright, stop emphasizing that. Don’t think I don’t know what you’re plotting."

"But, what do we do about the monkey now?"

Her piercing his motives didn’t embarrass Li Qing; on the contrary, he felt a small thrill in his heart.

Seeing the sister-in-law’s reaction, it seemed she was truly beginning to accept him.

"Lure it out with some food, let it leave on its own. This little thing is clever," Li Qing suggested.

"Okay, I’ll find some cookies." Saying this, Han Mei opened a drawer and, with a resigned smile, took out a tattered bag, "It seems it already had some."

"That should be enough." Li Qing said, seeing there were still a few pieces left, so he took them out, tied them with a string, and placed them at the vent to bait the monkey.

While waiting, Li Qing noticed for the first time that Han Mei was only wearing a loose knee-length short-sleeved dress.

Her bare legs, white as lotus roots, seemed even fairer under the light, and there were two points protruding from her chest.

Thinking back to the panties that were left by the pillow, Li Qing quietly swallowed.

Sister-in-law couldn’t possibly be... not wearing anything underneath, could she?

"Your eyeballs are about to pop out, and yet you’re still looking," Han Mei scolded, poking Li Qing’s forehead with her finger.

"Sister-in-law is really too beautiful!" Li Qing exclaimed sincerely.

A peachy blush spread across Han Mei’s cheeks, "All you do is spout nonsense. Hurry, the string’s moving."

Li Qing quickly yanked the string down, and then a fluffy little monkey, very agile, darted out from the vent and clung to the curtains, squeaking at Li Qing and Han Mei.

Li Qing shouted, purposely trying to scare it, "You scared my sister-in-law so she couldn’t sleep in the middle of the night, and you dare to make noise? Grab your cookie and beat it!"

With that, Li Qing threw the cookie out.

The monkey leaped and grabbed the cookie, then swung out the door, clutching the doorframe.

When Li Qing chased out, the monkey was already hopping and skipping, disappearing into the night.

"If only we could eat this thing; just for scaring sister-in-law like that, I would have treated her to an extra meal tonight," Li Qing said viciously.

"Stop teasing!" Han Mei smiled flirtatiously, laughing out loud, her beauty radiant like a splendid flower.

Looking at her, Li Qing was momentarily stunned.

He slowly approached Han Mei, "Sister-in-law, are you still scared?"

"Now that I know it was just monkey business, there’s certainly nothing to be afraid of!" Han Mei pouted.

"Should I stay with you tonight then? I’m worried about you..." Li Qing said.

But Han Mei, as if she saw right through Li Qing, tapped lightly on his chest with her tender fingers, "Are you worried about me, or are you trying to take advantage of me?"

"Of course, I’m worried about sister-in-law," Li Qing declared emphatically. "But if sister-in-law is generous enough to let me hold her, touch her, I would be even happier."

Han Mei looked at him with playful eyes, "You little rascal, hurry up."

Li Qing was momentarily confused, but then he suddenly understood, sweeping Han Mei up in his arms, his hand slipping under her clothes.

Two soft, full mounds changed shape under Li Qing’s hands.

Just as Li Qing grabbed the tender grape and was about to play with it to his heart’s content, Han Mei, her face flushed, stopped him, "That’s enough, go back to sleep."

"Sister-in-law, I haven’t had my fill yet..." Li Qing said with a downcast expression.

Han Mei laughed lightly, "You’ll never have your fill. Hurry back, it’s almost dawn."

Li Qing had no choice but to reluctantly return to his own home.

And Yang Xuelan had already gone back.

When she left, she even tidied up Li Qing’s wardrobe for him.

Li Qing’s messy clothes were now neatly arranged.

Those that needed to be hung were hung up, those that needed to be folded were folded into neat squares.

Seeing the tidiness reminded Li Qing instantly of Yang Xuelan’s moist and tight garden.

Emperor Yu passed his home three times without entering, and now he had managed to restrain himself three times with Yang Xuelan without entering.

It really left him quite frustrated.

Just tonight, he had been on the brink of success, but then, sister-in-law had called for him.

What could he do?

He could disregard others’ matters, but he couldn’t neglect his sister-in-law’s.

The next day.

The sky was clear.

The morning sun shone through the bright glass, casting light onto Li Qing’s face.

Li Qing stretched and got out of bed.

Today would be another day to be scorched by the sun.

While he was washing up, there came a gentle knock at the door.

Upon hearing it, Li Qing’s heart leapt with joy.

Knocking so tentatively, it could only be Han Mei.

He quickly opened the door, and surely enough, it was Han Mei.
