Chapter 57: Chapter 57: The Little Fox’s Temptation_1

Li Qing had just drained his reservoir of desire, and now was his most saintly moment.

Even if Caili half-undressed, with sultry eyes hooking him in, aflame with heat, Li Qing was devoid of much interest.

"Auntie, the timing isn’t good today, I’m not that quick to recover. I’ll come over another day," Li Qing said.

Caili gave Li Qing a resentful glance, "You’re such a bad thing, only caring about your own pleasure."

"Come over when you’re free, I’ll be waiting for you here," she said.

"Alright," Li Qing responded, and then he sneaked out the door and went home.

After returning home and comfortably taking a bath, Li Qing lay on the sofa. He could still taste some of the lingering pleasure from Caili’s ministrations, and it was truly satisfying.

Without realizing it, he drifted off into a deep sleep.

The next day, he was woken up by the crisp sound of birds chirping.

It was another bright, sunny day.

The early mornings of the hot summer were the most comfortable—fresh air blended with a faint scent of grass and trees.

But it became unbearably hot by noon.

To avoid the sun, Li Qing got up, washed his face, and ran off to Han Mei’s house. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

He wanted to take advantage of the cool weather to start work early in the fields and rest as soon as he got tired.

Han Mei seemed like she hadn’t been up for long either.

She was busy feeding the chickens and ducks and asked Li Qing to prepare breakfast.

Li Qing’s specialty was the simplest white porridge and boiled eggs, so that’s what he started with.

Just as breakfast was cooking, Wu Xingxing suddenly appeared at the door.

She was wearing a light blue skirt that day, looking as captivating as the cool morning.

"Why are you here?" Li Qing was especially surprised.

"I came to help you with the work," Wu Xingxing said as a matter of course.

"What about Hu Pangpang?" Li Qing asked further.

Wu Xingxing, holding a bag in her hand, had already made her way into the yard, "Uncle Hu came back yesterday, and the little fatty was conscripted for muscle, said he had to go to the fields to oversee something or the like, I didn’t catch it all. Anyway, he’s not here."

Li Qing had known about this since the previous night.

Yu Lan had gone to sell wine to Hu Youyu in the middle of the night and interrupted his pleasant time.

"So, you just came over like this?" Li Qing couldn’t help but feel a headache coming on.

Even though Hu Pangpang wasn’t keen on dating Wu Xingxing, she was allegedly introduced to Hu Pangpang in the first place.

Does her frequent visits mean anything?

Oh, this is at his sister-in-law’s place.

But still...

Alright, with his sister-in-law as a buffer, it indeed shouldn’t be taken the wrong way.

"Otherwise? You don’t seem to welcome me much!" Wu Xingxing looked up at Li Qing and asked.

Li Qing sheepishly replied, "That’s not true. I’m just worried about idle gossip."

"What’s to gossip about? I’m here to see Sister Han Mei, not you. What’s there to be afraid of?" Wu Xingxing laughed mischievously and stuck her tongue out at Li Qing.

Li Qing had no choice but to hold his tongue, sparing the words he had planned to say.

When Han Mei came back and saw Wu Xingxing sitting there, she greeted her warmly and happily.

Whatever they discussed yesterday, their relationship seemed to have suddenly become closer, and they appeared quite intimate.

Li Qing silently went to the kitchen, watching the two lovely girls from a distance, his lips couldn’t help but curl into a slight smile.

If he could marry both of them, he might truly enjoy the legendary blessing of having two wives.

After breakfast, the three of them went down to the fields together.

Although Wu Xingxing was the slowest at work, an extra pair of hands still meant extra help.

Li Qing had planned the work to take about two more days, but now, with the work fully in progress for another day, it should be almost complete.

During the wheat harvest, Li Qing deliberately lagged behind.

He had wanted to take the opportunity to sneak another look at the scenery beneath the skirt.

However, today Wu Xingxing’s skirt was shorter, potentially offering even less to see.

Wu Xingxing had intentionally said yesterday that she wouldn’t wear one, which Li Qing naturally didn’t believe, but he still harbored some faint hope.

As expected, he was disappointed.

Regardless of whether Wu Xingxing was wearing one or not, he simply couldn’t see anything.

What was infuriating was that there wasn’t even a breeze this morning.

The light and airy skirt remained light and airy, covering her delicately perky buttocks without flipping up even a strand.

To look after Wu Xingxing, Han Mei called it a day for the three of them by midday.

"Qingzi," we’re heading back to prepare lunch," Han Mei called out to Li Qing like she did the day before.

Li Qing responded, sticking to the same old routine as yesterday, picking up stray wheat ears and arranging the wheat stacks.

After finishing the wrap-up work, he went home to wash up before heading over to Han Mei’s house.

When Li Qing entered, only Wu Xingxing was sitting in the yard, with no sign of Han Mei.

"Where’s my sister-in-law?" Li Qing asked, somewhat puzzled.

Wu Xingxing replied, "She went to steal some vegetables in the greenhouse."

"Steal vegetables?" Li Qing was surprised, his sister-in-law had never done such a thing.

"Yeah, that’s what the sister-in-law said, seems like it’s from Tian Yue’e’s place," said Wu Xingxing.

Oh, it was from Tian Yue’e’s, then it was no issue.

Wu Xingxing wasn’t very familiar with the village dynamics and didn’t understand the relationship between Han Mei and Tian Yue’e.

Could that be called stealing?

No, that would be considered snatching!

"You little rascal, are you disappointed?" Wu Xingxing teased with a sly smile, whispering into Li Qing’s ear.

The fragrance from her mouth spread to Li Qing’s neck, making his whole body itch.

"What am I disappointed about?" Li Qing feigned ignorance.

"Keep pretending, I know you were sneaking a peek at me from behind. What a pity, huh? Today, even the heavens aren’t on your side, not even a little breeze," Wu Xingxing said with her signature playful smirk, her dainty chin lifted high like a proud little peacock.

Li Qing glanced towards the door, "Didn’t you say you wouldn’t wear one? Why did you wear it then?"

"You... you saw?" Wu Xingxing’s pretty face instantly flushed red.

Yesterday she had deliberately let him see, yet today she turned shy upon mention, which Li Qing found truly baffling.

"I saw," Li Qing said with inward amusement, deliberately so.

"Impossible, then tell me what color I’m wearing today?" Wu Xingxing’s large eyes twinkled.

This actually put Li Qing in a bit of a predicament.

He could only take a guess.

"Pink, what else!" Li Qing declared.

Wu Xingxing suddenly giggled, "I knew you were guessing! Well, let me tell you, I really didn’t wear anything today, do you want to...take a look?"

Li Qing snorted, thinking to himself, Little vixen, I don’t believe you for a second!

"Lift it up, let me have a look," he said with a straight face.

Wu Xingxing actually started to lift it.

With two fingers gently pinching the hem of her skirt, she had a mischievous look in her beautiful eyes. She slowly raised the hem, giggling, "I’m really lifting it."

"Lift it, if you don’t, I’ll help you!" Li Qing was also getting a bit hot-headed from Wu Xingxing’s teasing.

He was determined to see under Wu Xingxing’s skirt today.

Little fox spirit, playing hard to get with him.

"You better look carefully, because I’m really lifting it," Wu Xingxing laughed, her eyes curving into crescent moons.
