The Heavenly Dao System-Chapter 82: Swatted
As Tang Han stood in front of Ye Ming, he asked his for his background in a complete impolite tone. In fact, it contained traces of disdain.
Ye Ming didn’t even bother to pay attention to the clown. His eyes were wandering in between the streets, watching the others bargaining for some items.
"Hey, brat! Are you deaf?" Having been ignored, Tang Han’s expression darkened.
"Bixiao Restaurant’s rules, absolute no provocation." Ye Ming responded coldly, his eyes remained locked on the streets.
From start to finish, he hadn’t even given him a single glance.
Tang Han was humiliated, and he felt his face burning red from the embarrassment. Besides the fact that the two Senior Sisters he wanted to woo were watching, even those flattery of his were spectating the scenes.
He clenched his fist and sneered, "The Bixiao Restaurant rules only apply to real customers. Who knows if you’re actually a customer. Someone with a mere Qi Refinement Realm thinks he a big shot?"
Tang Han wasn’t acting out of impulse. He had inspected Ye Ming’s outfit and physiques thoroughly. Not a single recollection was in his mind, so what did that mean?
It meant that he was definitely a loose cultivator who somehow sneaked into the restaurant.
After all, any Qi Refinement Realm cultivator who could make it here would definitely be hailing from some powerful sects. It was unimaginable for such a low realm to have passed through the Fushang Forest, much less gain entry to the Fushang Territory.
"Brat—"
Before Tang Han could even finish his next sentence, Ye Ming had already grabbed him with Dao Qi and flung him straight down to the open street.
CRASH!
Tang Han was completely caught off-guard as his body crashed into a stall run by a Nascent Soul cultivator. When the Nascent Soul cultivator saw Tang Han had smashed his stall, his expression was filled with anger.
The stall was of no problem because he could set it up again.
However, the items that Tang Han broke couldn’t be restored. They were priceless and worth a lot as it could be exchange for numerous resources.
"Are you messing with me?" The Nascent Soul cultivator lifted Tang Han up with his spiritual qi and asked coldly.
Although infighting was heavily banned in the city, there was still exception to the law. And that was if someone else offended them first, then they could legally make a move.
Nobody would complain even if the offender was killed because they were the first to provoke others.
Tang Han’s face turned pale as he hurriedly explained the situation.
"It wasn’t me, fellow cultivator." He cupped his fist and proceeded to point at the upper floor of the Bixiao Restaurant. "It’s that brat in the Qi Refinement Realm who threw me and smashed your stall in the process!"
"A Qi Refinement Realm?" The Nascent Soul cultivator scoffed and thought Tang Han was still messing with him. But his eyes suddenly narrowed when he noticed Tang Han’s outfit represented the Crimson Sword Sect.
The Crimson Sword Sect wasn’t any ordinary sect as they specialized heavily in the sword.
He also doubted someone from that sect would seriously provoke him for no reason. Thus, he raised his chin, and his expression quickly changed.
’There’s really a Qi Refinement Realm cultivator?’ He was dumbfounded. Most cultivators could easily conceal their cultivation base, but they could still suspect it somewhat.
Ye Ming didn’t have any sign of concealing his cultivation base whatsoever.
"We shall see then," the Nascent Soul cultivator snorted and waved his sleeve. Soon, all items in the stall were collected inside. He then dragged Tang Han and entered the restaurant.
When a new receptionist saw the Nascent Soul cultivator, their eyes widened in surprise.
"Do you have any business here, Daoist Lang?" The receptionist asked, having recognized who he was.
"This brat thrashed my stall from your restaurant and he claimed it was done by someone on the upper floor. So I came here to verify the news." Lang Jian explained coolly. He was giving face to the owner of the restaurant, otherwise, he would have long stormed to the stairs.
The receptionist was placed in a predicament upon hearing that. He knew that Lang Jian wasn’t someone to make up false lies, much less trying to cause trouble in their restaurant.
However, that didn’t mean he could just allow him to ascend upstairs. It would ruin their reputation and authority.
Lang Jian seemed to understand the person’s thought as he continued, "Relax, I just wanted to confirm it. I won’t make a move until they leave the city."
Upon hearing that, the receptionist heaved a sigh of relief and reluctantly nodded his head.
A Nascent Soul realm was naturally qualified to go to the upper floor.
"You can look with your privilege, but absolutely no confrontation. I’ll also call for Li Hua to address the matter." The receptionist said. Li Hua was responsible for the upper floor and had a higher status than him. She was definitely more experienced in this type of matter.
Lang Jian didn’t have any complaints and simply nodded his head as he ascended the stairs.
The commotions made naturally alerted the rest of the customers as they eagerly waited for a good drama to show.
While this was happening, back at the upper floor, Jing An and Zhu Mingyue was still in a shock toward Ye Ming’s action.
A Qi Refinement Realm cultivator could fling a Core Formation Realm cultivator outside in the blink of an eye? Even if it was a sudden move, it was still hard to believe how easily he had done it.
"Seems like we have another mysterious cultivator entering the city." Zhu Mingyue said.
"Agreed." Jing An nodded, feeling wary toward Ye Ming.
"It’s him, fellow Daoist!" At this moment, Tang Han, who was dragged midair pointed at Ye Ming. His face was extremely red filled with a mix of anger and embarrassment. Anger toward Ye Ming and embarrassed when he was seen in such a state by his two Senior Sisters.
Lang Jian didn’t even bother to respond as he advanced toward Ye Ming and questioned, "Did you throw this fellow into my stall?"
"Yes," Ye Ming flatly responded.
"Now stop annoying me and scram. That trash annoyed me and got flung. If you want to follow his experience, then continue on." He continued, not even giving a crap about Lang Jian.
He had already known about the conversation between them when they were still discussing.
Ye Ming was honestly baffled at how he had the protagonist halo of trouble. All he did was stay at his table and waiting for some good food to arrive. Yet one after another, clowns kept appearing and trying to rile him up.
Lang Jian was silent as he didn’t expect such a fierce response.
Just when the atmosphere was starting to suffocate, Li Hua arrived at the upper floor.
The first thing she did was rush over to Ye Ming and apologize, "Daoist Dao, I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you."
Daoist Dao?
Lang Jian was stupefied by the name, but what astonished him further was how Li Hua treated Ye Ming. His eyes narrowed as he seemed to have stumbled across a mystery.
"No worries. The fault didn’t lie on you, but some unruly clown who tried to show off." Ye Ming waved his hand. He didn’t blame Li Hua as it was simply impossible for her to predict some retards would come causing trouble for him within the restaurant.
"Thank you," Li Hua bowed and heaved a sigh of relief. She had long brought over the spirit stone to her manager—the one that Ye Ming used to paid and not her tip. When her manager noticed the quality of the spirit stone, she had strictly told her to not be rude to the guest.
This kind of quality was something that not even a regular Spirit Severing realm could get. In fact, the manager highly doubted that Soul Transformation could produce such quality either.
After all, this kind of purity required immense concentration in their spiritual qi. It was unimaginable to know just how many efforts were required to produce one.
Spirit stone was the main currency for cultivators because spirit stones were made with the effort of cultivator’s spiritual qi.
In other words, cultivators could make money themselves simply by getting a random stone or producing one with their cultivation base by injecting and forming it.
It was extremely taxing in one’s cultivator progression, which was why not many could be produced.
At the same time, cultivators would usually use spirit stones to assist them in cultivating. Different varieties of spirit stones contained different concentration, so the higher quality, the more valuable.
This was the origin of the spirit stone and how it came into play.
Hence, Li Hua didn’t even care about a clown like Tang Han, who was merely a Core Formation realm. As for his sect, the Crimson Sword Sect, Li Hua doubted they would dare a make a fuss against them for a mere Core Formation.
