Chapter 345 Large Scale War

The Level 5 Espers were summoned by Ancestor Xymera and they immediately headed to the temporary headquarters in the Northern Region. Their respective empires were currently safe so there was no harm in joining the allied army. However, they still left a huge portion of their soldiers to prepare for any situation.

It took more than five days for everyone to gather. There was also a group that made everyone surprised upon their arrival. They were the Barbarian warriors led by Amistha and more than a few dozen Level 5 warriors. Their presence deterred the allied army since they were quite strong. The allied army had 83 Level 5 Espers, while the Barbarians had over 60 Level 5 warriors!

"Sir Aethelwolf!" Amishta bowed lightly at Aethelwolf. This man gave their tribes a home when everyone else rejected them. They will never forget his kindness.

The Level 5 warriors behind her also lowered their heads. They had nothing but respect for Aethelwolf.

Aethelwolf smiled and waved his hand. "There's no need to be formal around me. You guys can be at ease."

Looking at the Barbarians who are showing their loyalty to Aethelwol, everyone was shocked. This was a sizable force that could rival the allied army and he had full control of them! Even Xymera was surprised by this.

"Not bad." She nodded in praise. She then moved her gaze to everyone as she said. "This time, I will lead the army to attack the gathering spot of the Underworlders! Sixty percent of our forces will follow me in battle, the remaining forty percent will stay here to await my orders!" Soon, Xymera distributed the attacking force and the soldiers that will remain.

The Level 5 experts of the attacking group gathered their troops in front of the headquarters. Their collective movement caused the ground the tremble.

Aethelwolf left the command of his troops to Ramiel. The guy was more experienced than him in leading an army so it was better to leave the soldiers in his care. Besides, he also planned to move separately from them.

"March!" Xymera shouted in a stern voice.

The attacking force allied army has more than ten million soldiers. Their powerful presence made the nearby magical beast escape in all directions.

In the gathering spot of the Underworlders, Gozgel was basking under the heat of the sun. His eyes were shut tight as he sat cross-legged.

"Reporting to Lord Gozgel! Our scouts saw a huge army marching in our direction! From our scouts' estimates, there should be more than ten million soldiers!" A subordinate reported in a grim voice.

Gozgel suddenly opened his eyes, causing a trace of his aura to leak out. This made his subordinate feel scared. The aura of a Transcendent being was like a mountain pressing down on him!

"So they want to attack us, huh? It seems like their leader is not an idiot, but they are looking down on me too much." Gozgel laughed coldly as he stood up. The sand beneath his feet exploded as soon as he stood straight.

Gozgel looked down at his subordinate and shouted. "Tell our army to prepare for battle! Recall the scattered troops and tell them to regroup with the main army! There will be e tough battle waiting for them!"

"Yes, Lord Gozgel!"

The Underworlders were alerted by the command. When they heard that a huge army was approaching, their eyes lit up with the desire for battle! They have been waiting for this moment!

There were already fifteen million Underworlders scattered in this area of the Northern Region and under the command of Gozgel, these soldiers gathered to form a huge army!

Among the soldiers in Ramiel's troops, there was a group of youngsters marching side by side. They were Alec, Janrose, Michael, Grace, and Christopher. They came here to join the war. Alec was no longer a newbie soldier so he was relatively relaxed throughout the whole journey. However, the same thing couldn't be said for the others. They were very nervous and it was obvious on their faces. Even Janrose who was the strongest among them couldn't hide the worry in her face.

"What are you guys worried about? We are not even in the frontline." Alec muttered in disdain when he saw the look on their faces.

"Come on, bro! You have been to war before so you are more experienced than us. Give us a few days to familiarize ourselves with the battlefield. I don't think that we will be worse than you." Michael snorted at his words. 𝙗𝒆𝙙𝙣𝒐𝙫𝙚𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝒎

"Sigh! I should have stayed in the castle..." Christopher sighed and shook his head.

"Ahem! You guys should stop quarreling! Don't make us lose face to the other empires!" Duke Baron reprimanded the youngsters when he heard them arguing.

There were also many famous characters in the Leone Empire who signed up for the war. Harold Reynolds, Aulus, and even Prince Calvin and Prince Renz were here! Other than them, there were also many of the family heads from the Leone Empire who joined.

"Yes, Duke Baron!" Alec and the others immediately turned silent after being reprimanded by the Duke. Although they had already grown stronger, they were still a lot weaker than the Duke and the family heads. These old guys were Level 4 Espers and some of them were even close to becoming Level 5 Espers!

Meanwhile, Prince Calvin grabbed the reins of his mount and urged it to move closer to Prince Renz. "Brother, what do you think will happen to us?" He asked in a low voice. Unlike his elder brother, this was his first experience of a large-scale war. He was nervous, but as the second prince of the Leone Empire, he had to maintain his image in front of his subordinates.

Prince Renz glanced at his younger brother and smiled reassuringly. "Our army is strong and with Commander Ramiel leading us, our victory is almost guaranteed. Just relax and loosen your muscles. Your too stiff." He chuckled at the end of his words.
