Chapter 543: Meeting the Lover

Sitting inside the car, Javier and Ellen were waiting for Charles and Ryan to show up. It was still very much night and finishing their work tonight was still a tough choice they had to consider.

Their car was parked at the outskirts of their city. At the same time, Javier’s eyes traced to look at the time in his watch, “What is taking them so look to come?”

“They should be on their way. Relax.” Ellen answered and Javier nodded his head.

Time passed and very soon, Charles and Ryan’s car pulled near theirs. They saw the car’s dippers and Ellen did the same as a response. “Shall I call them now?” Ellen inquired.

“Not the normal call...” Javier mumbled and Ellen understood what he meant. They brought a handheld transceiver from the back seat. Raising its side, Ellen held the switch tightly before he brought it near his mouth, “You can hear?” 𝑓𝔯𝑒e𝘸e𝘣𝓷𝘰ѵe𝚕.c૦𝙢

“I do.” Ryan answered from the other hand.

“Handing it over to Javier now.” Ellen spoke and then he passed it to Javier who sat beside him. Javier took the transceiver in his hand and kept on pressing the button, “Charles, are you over?”

.....

“Yes.”

“Listen to my words carefully. Today, I traced Shirley’s messages and saw that she’s going to meet her lover near the sea shore. It is likely that she will meet him and then they drive to their base. Either way, if she doesn’t go, her lover will surely do. To find their base in our city, we will need to follow them and track them down.”

“Will they lead us to Phoenix’s den?” Charles questioned from the other hand and Javier only said, “I hope so.”

“Follow us. Ask Ryan to drive behind our car while I navigate Ellen to the seashore.” Javier spoke and immediately removed his hand from the button. Keeping the transceiver in his lap, his cold blooded eyes traced to pass a stare to Ellen.

Ellen pulled their car back to their road and Ryan’s car followed them closely behind. The entire roads were empty and only the street lamps were elite. Their ride was smooth but it was a time filled with utmost tension, uneasiness and determination.

No one knew what they would face tonight. Their hearts were completely closed and turned black. The four men were vomiting the aura of death, their hands itching to take revenge and kill.

How long has it been for them to not go on a mission?

Within one hour, Ellen brought their car to the port. He stopped the car in between the big boxes which were there to be exported. In the middle of them, no one could find them at any cost..

Ellen sided his face, “Are we going to step out and look for them?”

“Not all.” Javier took the small gun from the backseat and tugged it near his waist. Afterwards, he took another gun that was already in his hands, “Charles and I will go outside and look at the seashore. Make sure to keep the car ready because we would highly need to follow them.”

Ellen nodded and passed him the handheld transceiver. At last, Javier opened the door and stepped out. His jaw was tight as the veins were ready to pop out. The devilish look didn’t pass from Ellen’s eyes but he knew this man. He is too dangerous...

Similarly, Charles had walked up to Javier and the brothers stood beside each other. “Shall we go and see his bitcfh?” Charles mumbled while caressing her own gun.

Javier took notice of the same expression and he muttered, “Don’t use that until not necessary. Your actions will not get anything better.”

“Don’t worry. Today, not only will she but her entire mafia group will vanish from this place. This won’t work...” Charles’s eyes narrowed as he smiled, “..not until she leads us to our destination.”

Javier didn’t say anymore and both of them walked out from the middle of the boxes. Javier took the front cover and Charles had been eyeing at their back. Each of their steps was after different considerations and nothing escaped from their eyes.

In the middle, they avoided many workers who could have laid their eyes on them. Escaping from all the uncounted crisis, the siblings reached up to the seashore.

They had their guns gripped in their hands as they rotated and diversified their attention in different directions. But nothing suspicious met their gaze.

“I don’t see anyone here, Javier.” Charles mumbled under his breath, only audible for Javier to hear, “She will definitely come. Let’s hide and wait for her behind that truck.” Javier pointed at the stilt truck and Charles agreed with his words.

They took cover behind the huge truck but their eyes were still very much stagnant at the seashore. Their wait was long and the more they waited, it caused another fury burning.

However, within a few more minutes, their eyes fell upon a car that approached the seashore. “Javier...”

“That is my father’s car. She is using his car so that no one will know that it is her in that car.” Javier concluded and Charles didn’t deny.

Javier and Charles hid their body behind the truck but only their face was out to look at the seashore. While Javier was standing and holding his gun, Charles bent on one of his knees and aimed the gun at the sight of the seashore for emergency purposes.

They saw Shirley coming out from the car while wearing a long white dress. Her hair was open and there was a jade pendant hanging around her neck. In fact, she stepped near the seashore to look at the sea and admire it for sometime, until she heard her own name.

“Shirley....it’s too risky for us to meet this openly.” The man called her name and Shirley turned around to look at the man. He was wearing a black leather jacket and his hair was dyed blonde. He had cufflinks in his ears and a huge tattoo running across his neck.

“I don’t think so.” Shirley smiled as she took a step towards him. Circling her arms around his neck, she stared at him with her mischievous gaze, “My husband is already with his sons. Do you still think it is scary?”

“They are after you.”

“Doesn’t matter. I have been fooling this family for decades, and I can do it even now. Nothing new for me..”
