The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse-Chapter 906: Shopping
Chapter 906: Shopping
Hiroshi City is beautiful.
There are many amazing places one could explore. There are restaurants to begin with. Zoos, parks, markets, malls, arcades, and much more.
Klaus and his wives, along with his in-laws, had an entire day to visit all the places they wanted to see.
And because they were accompanied by the city leaders, it wasn’t hard to gain access to the places they wanted to.
They first visited the zoo under the direction of Asha, who said she had never been to the zoo. So, they went to the largest zoo in the area and spent every second of the next two hours exploring the various exotic animals.
Klaus was surprisingly happy when they arrived at a session featuring the animals before the apocalypse.
Some of the animals that hadn’t mutated were surprisingly still alive, and while Klaus knew they had spiritual qi running through their bodies, he also recognized they weren’t lethal like the beasts and monsters in the wild.
So, they spent some time there, indulging in the mundane activities they found themselves in. By the time they finished at the zoo, everyone had seen something that made them happy.
Even Kathy was in a good mood, knowing and seeing how the animals were being treated; she knew that not all humans were wicked, as she had thought.
If only she had known that it was because of Lady Miko, who made it her life goal to ensure nature is preserved, they would have seen more than what they saw at the zoo.
But they left and went to the arcade, where they continued to have fun.
Klaus bought a more advanced GoPro and hung it on his pocket, recording every moment of this experience. He may have a good memory that allows him to recall every single moment, but remembering and rewatching are two different things.
They each incite different feelings, and Klaus wanted both.
He wanted to remember, but also be able to rewatch whenever he wanted. So as they moved from one place to the next, he made sure every moment was captured.
For hours, they moved through the busy and beautiful city until they arrived at a restaurant where they had lunch. After lunch, they started to wonder where to go next.
It didn’t take much longer until Nadia brought up the idea of going shopping. Everyone was happy with the idea, and while Klaus knew he was about to have a hard time deciding which clothes looked beautiful on them, he nodded to her suggestion.
Thus, they left and soon arrived at the ’Mermaid Life Clothing Boutique.’
It was the largest boutique in the Northern Union and one of the reasons Hiroshi City is now the second-richest and second-strongest city in the Northern Union.
They used to be third, but after Klaus wiped out the Duncan Legacy family, the Arcadian city became the new Union City, making them second.
The moment Klaus and his wives alighted, everyone who saw them recognized Klaus and a few others.
Klaus was already well-known to everyone for his exploits and achievements, so when he jumped down from the bus, everyone recognized him.
However, good for him; everyone who saw him was a worker who couldn’t use their devices on duty, so it would be a while before news of his whereabouts spread, especially after he was spotted in more than five places already.
They were all giddy to see someone like Klaus Hanson, but they had a job to do.
"Welcome to the Mermaid Life Clothing Boutique, please follow me inside."
Perhaps the one who received them was doing her best to remain professional, but looking at Klaus and his ladies wasn’t giving her that calm, professional moment she wanted.
But she moved with purpose, leading Klaus and his women inside.
"Please, this way. You are all VIP customers, so I will take you to the VIP section straight away."
Klaus smiled, "Oh, I never knew I was a VIP customer in this place, seeing I never shopped here before."
The lady faltered in her steps, but she managed to stabilize herself rather calmly, like she had done it a million times. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
Klaus saw this, causing him to raise his brow for a second.
The young lady turned and, with a guilty smile, she responded to Klaus, "I meant to say you are all worthy of being VIP customers. I mean, you are Klaus Hanson. The Klaus Hanson.
The youngest to ever dominate the warrior charts."
She then turned to Queenie, "You are Overlord Queenie, the war princess. Then there is the best fashion designer in recent years, and war goddess Miriam. I mean, you all are legends."
The facade of professionalism washed from the lady’s eyes as she looked at everyone with admiration. However, as she scanned all the faces, her eyes landed on Lady Miko, causing her to bow slightly.
"My lady. I didn’t know you would be visiting today. Let me inform the manager."
"Don’t worry about... We are just here to shop, no need to inform the manager about our presence." Lady Miko knew if the manager came, the fun they were there to have would be interrupted.
"But..."
Of course, the young lady knew that if the manager found out she hadn’t informed her of the appearance of someone like Lady Miko Hiroshi and Klaus Hanson, she might just lose her high-paying job.
"What is your name?" Klaus said, stepping forward. The young lady hesitated for a moment before answering.
"Rita."
"I knew a Rita once. One of the deadliest shadow assassins one wouldn’t dare cross." Klaus smiled. "You wouldn’t happen to have a thing for daggers, would you?"
"Huh." Rita was taken aback hearing what Klaus said. It sounded bizarre, and she was unsure how to respond to such a question.
"Klaus, stop messing with her." Nadia walked forward and held Rita’s hand. "Just treat our presence as normal customers. We just want to experience the shopping lifestyle and would appreciate a calm atmosphere."
Rita nodded and led them away, where the shopping started right when they reached there. It was bound to be one beautiful moment.
Meanwhile, Rita, who was contemplating whether to save her job by informing her boss, sat quietly in a chair, looking in the direction of the lift that led to the manager’s office.
Knowing how lazy her boss is, she knew calling or texting wouldn’t be ideal at all. So she was thinking hard about it to the point she didn’t know when Klaus moved and appeared beside her.
"Penny for your thoughts?"
