Chapter 558: Chapter 558: Wedding Dress Fitting

So the outside world has always been curious about Hugo Quinn’s old residence, and now that they hear Eleanor Hollis’s wedding will be held there, the internet is abuzz instantly.

Previously, everyone knew that Hugo Quinn and Eleanor Hollis hadn’t held a wedding yet, and thought these two wouldn’t be together for long. But now, Hugo Quinn is willing to make up for this wedding, proving that he genuinely wants to be with Eleanor.

Discussions about Eleanor Hollis had already been quite intense online, and with this news, those who were previously hurling insults could only be filled with envy and jealousy.

However, everyone was also a bit puzzled. If President Quinn truly liked Eleanor Hollis, what were all these scandals with other women about?

For example, with Jean Nash before, President Quinn had announced he was going to divorce at that time. This man’s change of heart is so fast.

But no matter how the outside world doubts, the news of their wedding is solid.

That day, Hugo Quinn woke Eleanor up early, saying the bridal dress had arrived, and she was to try it on.

Eleanor rubbed her eyes and got out of bed, quickly freshened up, and carefully did her makeup in front of the mirror.

"How about it? Does this look good?"

It was the first time she cared so much about her makeup. After all, it was the bridal dress, and it was designed by Hugo Quinn. Just thinking about it made her heart overflow with sweetness.

"It looks good, but I think you’ve applied too much blush."

Hugo gave his advice, taking a tissue and gently wiping it for her.

Eleanor blushed a little. Her makeup skills weren’t that great. "Maybe I should wash it off. It must look bad."

She didn’t want to go out and embarrass herself.

"It’s okay, you’re beautiful no matter what, let’s go."

Hugo had already taken her hand, leading her towards the bridal shop.

This bridal shop was the largest in Serenford, and the dress had been displayed in the window since it was delivered.

Eleanor was gently pushed in by a few people. She glanced back at Hugo, noticing how he nervously paced outside, which amused her. She thought she was the only nervous one, but it seemed he was, too.

Once inside the fitting room, she put on the bridal dress. The material was exquisite, and as soon as she wore it, she felt ethereal.

She opened the door, feeling a bit shy.

"How is it?"

Hugo was so mesmerized he forgot to speak, just standing there, staring.

When designing this bridal dress, he told Eleanor he would make the perfect dress for her. But he was nervous about something going wrong until he saw the dress on her. Everything was perfect, every detail just right. The fishtail design added an ethereal touch to her.

"Say something, do you think it’s good or not?"

Eleanor grew anxious and glanced at the mirror beside her.

The reflection showed a stunning woman. She was satisfied with the dress, which flattered her figure, accentuating her curves. The diamonds on the dress added an extra sparkle.

"Miss Hollis, you’re gorgeous, President Quinn is absolutely stunned."

"Indeed, it’s the most beautiful bridal dress we’ve ever seen."

The shop assistants complimented, their eyes full of envy.

Eleanor was a bit bashful from the compliments, doing a little spin on the spot.

"It really is beautiful; my husband designed it himself."

Her tone was filled with pride as she said this, raising her chin slightly.

Typically, when women brag like this, it might be uncomfortable, but Eleanor was different. You could tell she was genuinely satisfied with Hugo Quinn’s design.

Hugo had also snapped back to reality by then, his eyes still fixed on her.

"Everyone out now."

He said softly.

The shop assistants glanced at each other, understood that the couple had private matters to discuss, and promptly left.

As soon as the door closed, Hugo pulled Eleanor into his arms.

"You’re beautiful."

Eleanor nestled in his embrace, feeling his chest tremble with emotion.

"Hugo."

She called softly, unable to suppress a smile. Despite knowing each other for so long, their interactions remained sweet and enchanting.

"It’s perfect just like this. No need for alterations; it suits you, Eleanor."

Hugo felt his breath hitch, as if something was caught in his chest. He had so much to say, yet too little was actually spoken. Men often keep their words in their hearts. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Eleanor nodded; she loved the design as it was.

"Thank you, I really like it."

They embraced for a while, then Hugo suddenly leaned in to kiss her.

Eleanor struggled slightly; many were waiting outside already. If they took too long, the others might guess what they were doing.

But Hugo persisted, pulling her into the fitting room.

"Hugo, can we go home? People are waiting outside."

Hugo couldn’t think of anything else, consumed by the thought of possessing and cherishing her.

The fitting room door shut quickly, and Eleanor found it amusing yet exasperating. However, seeing his expression, she couldn’t bear to refuse, and finally spoke.

"Don’t take too long."

Hugo reluctantly lifted his head, "Are you doubting my ability?"

Eleanor sighed, "I know very well what you’re capable of, but dear husband, now is not the time to prove it. We’re here to try on the dress. If we don’t go out soon, people might guess what we’re doing in here, and I can’t afford that embarrassment."

Upon hearing this, Hugo immediately took out his phone and called the manager, temporarily closing the store for the day, sending all employees home.

Listening to his orders, Eleanor was stunned, her expression frozen.

"This is Grandeur’s property, and I’m their boss. If I give my employees a day off, what can you say?"

Eleanor indeed had nothing to say, feeling a hand reach over, and she could only mutter, "Blinded by lust!"

But Hugo paid no mind; the two soon got engrossed with each other, turning the bridal dress fitting into something else entirely.

It wasn’t until two hours later that Hugo finally carried Eleanor out. The bridal dress had been set aside, and he carefully helped her into her previous clothes, satisfaction evident in his expression.

"We’ve tried the bridal dress, so shall we head back now?"

Eleanor heard his question through the haze, too exhausted to even roll her eyes.

Hugo carried her out and instructed Lan Yancy on the side.

"Hang the bridal dress properly and have it steamed carefully. She said she’s satisfied, so it will be the one for the wedding."

Unsure if it was Lan Yancy’s imagination, he sensed pride in the President’s voice when he said this. Was it simply because Miss Hollis liked his bridal dress design?
