Rui gazed at her apologizing form, heaving a sigh as he composed himself. "While I have not acted optimally, it is true that the Sage-level powerhouses that I have visited have offered an absurd degree of resistance."

Frankly, to this day, Rui didn’t entirely understand.

The Hellbringer model.

The breakthroughs.

These were extremely precious treasures, especially in the Era of Darkness.

Why in the world did nations try to make his life harder when he was essentially giving these gifts away for free?

Why couldn’t they just partake in a plan that would help their citizens and human civilization?

It was mind-boggling.

But alas, nations were not rational and logical actors.

"I accept your apology," he replied calmly. "For now, let’s move past the blame games and focus on optimally solving the problem. We need to get the Solution of Harmony into effect as soon as possible. I believe only the Gu, the Marinaera Kingdom, and the Namgung Dynasty are remaining, right?"

Elder Diana shook her head. "The Marinaera Kingdom and the Namgung Dynasty have proactively decided to join in the Solution of Harmony after witnessing the kind of destruction that a single quasi-Transcendent monster could inflict upon the world. All that’s needed is for them to get your gifts, and they will be full-fledged parts of the Solution of Harmony."

Rui’s eyes lit up. "That’s brilliant. Then I can quickly get things done with them!"

He was glad that both of these nations woke up after the Dionaryion, the Abyssal Dragon, wreaked mass destruction in East Panama. He was sad that so many lives had to perish before they regained their common sense.

"You won’t need to visit both of them," Elder Diana shook her head. "The Emperor of Harmony, recognizing the gravity of the situation, has deployed the one known as the Chosen One to aid you with spreading the Hellbringer Model and the breakthroughs."

Rui’s eyes widened with a surprise. "Ieyasu…? Wait, that’s genius!"

Ieyasu possessed his own brand of breakthroughs, and the VOID algorithm, which he had copied from Ru, he could replicate the breakthroughs that Rui imparted to much of the world.

"On top of that, he possesses the full Tree of Life model, which means he could also impart it to the Namgung Dynasty and the Marinaera Kingdom," Rui realized. "And, he can copy my Hellbringer embedding hypnotic technique as well."

Without the hypnotic Hellbringer embedding technique, the Hellbringer model could not be passed on to other people. Fortunately, Rui could just temporarily lower his anti-Ieyasu defense and allow the man to copy that technique.

"And then he too would be capable of doing what I do," Rui realized as his palm hit his face. "Damn, we should have thought of this sooner!"

They could have saved half the time without two pillars of salvations running around the continent imparting Rui’s gifts.

And yet, he could also understand why his father hadn’t deployed Ieyasu to do this.

"…That guy has zero diplomacy skills."

There was no way that he would be able to get nations to agree to the Solution of Harmony with his cold and impassive demeanor. In fact, if he entered the Solaris Kingdom and faced prejudice for his black hair, he would have failed then and there because he simply would not have been able to replicate Rui’s strategic diplomacy.

Rui had yet to fail even with the toughest nut to crack.

It was only now that the Namgung Dynasty and the Marinara had officially and formally entered the Solution of Harmony as full-fledged members that it was worth it to deploy him on a mission to do only Rui could do otherwise.

"Brilliant," Rui got out of bed. "Let’s commence this immediately. I will go to the Gu while he goes to the Namgung Dynasty. Whoever finishes first can handle the Marinaera Kingdom, and after that…"

Rui narrowed his eyes. "The Sages can immediately depart for the Beast Domain."

Elder Diana, however, didn’t seem to be the most pleased by the notion of Rui going to the Gu. Experience new stories on novelbuddy

"I have been tasked with informing you of the perils of the Gu," Elder Diana replied with a steely tone. "The Gu is the single most dangerous Sage-level powerhouse on the entire continent. Even if it’s not as strong as the Kandrian Empire in raw Martial power, it has the most powerful Martial Artists in all Realms in the entire continent, by far. More than anything, it is a powerhouse that is filled with broken monsters bred in the depths of a nightmarish hell."

Her eyes narrowed. "They do not care for incentives and disincentives. They do not care for economics and politics. They do not even care for their own survival. They are warped human beings filtered out of a thousand and have abandoned even their sanity for the sake of power."

The air grew heavy as she described the perils of the Gu.

"The Emperor of Harmony has decided to leave the decision to you," she replied. "My own personal opinion is that you should abandon the Gu."

Rui’s eyes widened with surprise. "Abandon the Gu? Really?"

"Yes," she replied. "The Kandrian Empire is strong enough to compensate for the gap. Their Martial Sages are of a much higher quality than the average, and they now have twenty-six Martial Sages."

Rui’s eyes lit up with a hint of surprise. "Twenty-six? Did they get one more after Sage Zentra? Who broke through? Was it Master Reina? Or Master Zeamer? Hm, no, there’s no way that depraved pervert managed to break through."

"Sage Kane is the newest Martial Sage of the Kandrian Empire."

Rui’s eyes widened with shock. "Kane…? Kane broke through to the Sage Realm?"

"He did," she replied. "He is now the youngest Sage in all of history, shattering the previous record by nearly ten years as far as his biological age goes."

"…"

"Rui?" Amare tilted her head with a hint of intrigued curiosity.

A pure and clear smile emerged on his face.

"I see. He finally beat me."
