Jason leaned back against the taxi seat, his face a calm mask but his mind racing. As he sat there, he couldnā€™t help but replay the events of the day.

The way Mia, the receptionist, had moved closer, her delicate fingers brushing against his knee as she adjusted her seat on the couch. The way she arched her back all so that Jason could see every curve that lined her dress...

Her boldness had startled him but also intrigued him. Her confidence hid a vulnerability he couldnā€™t ignore and it had led him to let go of himself and finally... get caught in the act by his nosy boss.

Still, the CEOā€™s unexpected interruption had left a sour taste in his mouth. Cockblocked in such an infuriatingly blunt way, Jason couldnā€™t help but sigh as he felt the tension inside him. He was a bit sexually frustrated right now. Okay, more than a bit! Luckily, he had not let Samantha off, and she might feel the same way too, if only a little.

His jaw clenched as he gazed out the window. He knew he had to focusā€¦ maybe if he channel the frustration into action.

But first, he needed to unpack everything.

Miaā€™s words echoed in his mind as he thought back to them.

"If the man I wanted wanted me back, Iā€™d do something like thisā€¦"

He recalled the softness of her lips against his neck, her breath warm and ragged. His hand had instinctively claimed her waist, pulling her closer as their chemistry built to a fever pitch. She had been eager, and Jason would never say no to that.

Jason closed his eyes, leaning his head back as he replayed the conversation with Mia. She was not the most beautiful, but she was pretty no doubt. Her long, chestnut hair cascaded over her shoulders, framing her striking features.

Her lips, a natural pink, begged for attention every time she spoke. She had the kind of figure that made menā€™s heads turn, a slender waist, wide hips, and legs that seemed to go on forever.

But it was her eyes that had truly captivated Jason. They sparkled with mischief yet hid a layer of sadness that only someone like him could detect. It was not a sadness of need... but a sadness of having lost something, of seeking a replacement.

He could see through people, always had. It was one of the reasons he was so good at what he did. And Mia? She was looking for more than just a fling. She wanted validation. And maybe a bit of excitement. She was a risk seeker, and Jason, it seemed she had picked up, was as risky as they came.

The scene replayed itself in vivid detail.

Mia had sat close, their knees brushing as she leaned forward, her lips curving into a playful smile as her dress exposed the lining of her cleavage. Jason let his eyes stay above her neckline though, taking it all in with his mind in a casual state.

"You know," Jason said, his tone smooth and deliberate, "youā€™ve got more potential than you realise."

Miaā€™s brow furrowed slightly. "What do you mean?" she said, tilting her head to the side. Jason smirked. Trying to look cute? Now that he thought about it... it kind of was cute. Whatever it was, Jason knew that she was attracted to him, and trying to make him see her in some type of way.

Closing the distance between them like that, and making sure that he knew she was okay with Jason being close, meant that she wanted him to be close. She wanted him to make the first move, to close the distance between them even more than she had. Jason knew it, but he would still delay it.

Everything was going to be on his time. It was better to slowly escalate things and make her crave the reaction she wanted from him even more.

Jason leaned in just enough to invade her personal space without making her uncomfortable, his voice dropping to a near whisper. "I mean, youā€™re wasted behind that desk. Youā€™re smart, approachable, andā€¦" his eyes roved over her appreciatively, "ā€¦letā€™s just say, unforgettable. You could be running the show, not waiting on someone elseā€™s beck and call. At least not if they are useless or something"

Her cheeks flushed, and she tilted her head coyly. "You think so?" But from the smile on her face, Jason could tell that she appreciated the compliment. It was not really about the compliment though, but about the attention Jason was giving her. That was the most meaningful thing to her.

Jason knew that too. And that was why as long as she behaved the way he wanted her to, he was giving her as much as she needed.

"I know so," Jason replied, his voice laced with certainty. He paused for effect, holding her gaze until she squirmed slightly under the intensity. This was no accident. Jason knew that when one spoke with conviction and paired it with deliberate pauses, it forced people to lean into the words, to believe them.

He was Anchoring his Authority. By exuding confidence and subtly asserting his superiority, Jason ensured Mia would hang on to every word.

Mia laughed softly, breaking the tension. "If you think Iā€™m so capable, maybe I should be your assistant." As she said that she gave him a side eye, trying desperately to see his reaction. Jason gave her the side eye too, and then in the next moment, they both began chuckling.

This woman... she was way too bold for her own good. It was very clear now... She was way too bold. It was actually funny.

Jason shook his head. "Too risky."

Her lips parted in mock surprise. "Risky? How?"

Jason smirked, leaning back. "Hiring someone as stunning as you? Iā€™d never get anything done. Iā€™d be too distracted." What a cheap compliment... But he was sure it was going to land.

"What?!" Mia said with a genuinely flattered smile.

"Itā€™s true. I can already imagine it. I would ask you to get me some documents and youā€™d lean in and look at me, and Iā€™d just melt. And then afterwards youā€™d turn and walk away and Iā€™d just stare at you as you walked away swaying those hips. All the blood would flow away from my brain immediately!"

Hearing this, her mouth went wide with honest shock at the audacity of Jasonā€™s words. Miaā€™s laughter was rich and genuine. She reached out, her fingers brushing against his arm. "Youā€™re trouble, Jason."

"And you love it," he replied, his grin widening.

She did. He could see it in the way her eyes sparkled, the way her body leaned just slightly toward him, trying by all means to close the distance between them. She was either very good at the game, or she was just someone who acted the way they felt with no reservations.

"You dating anyone? Or maybe... have a crush?" Jason said taking a sip of coffee.

"Dating? No. Havent for a long time..." Mia said, turning to him. And then her expression turned shy for a moment. "But I do have someone I like though..."

"Really?" Jason said turning to her in interest. "What do you think... is he an idiot? How dare he not like you?" Jason said in mock anger causing her to chuckle.

And then things had escalated from that point with her getting on top of him.

With a sultry smile, Mia straddled Jasonā€™s lap more. She leaned in slowly, her lips brushing against his in feather-light kisses. Her hands frame his face as she deepens the kiss, her tongue dancing with his in a sensual tango.

"Mmm," she hummed into their shared breath, "Iā€™ve wanted this for so long."

She ground her hips against him, feeling his hardness press against her slick heat.

Jason groaned, his hands gripping her hips tightly as she moved against him. "Mia, youā€™re driving me crazy." He whispered hoarsely into her ear, his breath hot against her skin.

She laughed softly, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Good," she replied, her voice low and sultry. "Thatā€™s the idea."

She continued to grind against him, her movements becoming more urgent as her desire grew. Jasonā€™s hands slid up her sides, cupping her breasts through her dress as the other one grabbed at her ass.

And then Samantha walked in!

Damn it!

If it wasnā€™t for that interruption, Jason would have fucked her right then and there in that office. It was unfortunate thoughā€¦ It seemed Samantha had been watching him the entire time. And she had come in there to ruin his moment.

Evil!

Jason sighed, shaking his head. He didnā€™t even have her numbers either. Whatever. Jason decided to contact the girl he had been having regular conversations with. That was Emily Grayson. The reason? To destroy her father.

Fucked up, right... yeah, Jason was not so impressed either.

He had been casually escalating things, getting her comfortable with letting him in. Through texts, it was a bit less effective, but Jason had found a way to implant ideas into her regardless. Jason was going to do it again this time.

Seeing another few messages from her, Jason read through them...
