The Only Spatial Ability User In The Apocalypse-Chapter 74 The Bridge

Only Sylas was driving without rest. Major Kyle wanted to let some soldiers accompany him when they set out from N City, but Sylas rejected it. He didn’t want to risk exposing his secrets. His ability was very different, which made him a little cautious.

Ahead was a river, and Major Kyle and the others gathered near the river.

Sylas sensed that something was wrong, so he immediately went towards them. With his speed, he crossed the convoy of cars within a minute and arrived near Major Kyle.

"What happened?" Sylas asked as soon as he reached.

Major Kyle motioned towards the bridge and said, "There seem to be mutated plants on the bridge, and I don’t think the bridge is stable either."

Sylas’s senses spread out as he carefully observed the bridge. There were several vine plants coiled around the bridge’s suspension cables. Sylas could sense not only one but several mutated plants on the bridge.

There were some wrecked cars on the bridge, and one car was hanging from the bridge with a vine as thick as an arm.

"What should we do?" Leo asked as he also observed the bridge.

"There are cracks on the bridge too," Shuan said as he knelt down and placed his hand on the edge of the bridge. He could sense the condition of the bridge using his earth ability. But he couldn’t sense the whole structure of the bridge since it consumed a lot of energy. Moreover, the bridge was big and long. His ability was not strong enough to feel it all. But he could sense a part of it and immediately spotted cracks in it.

Sylas could also sense the cracks in the bridge.

"This bridge is the only route that connects the northern region to the rest of the country. Only after crossing this bridge can we reach the capital. So we have to come up with a way to cross this bridge," Major Kyle said with a grave expression.

"I can use my earth ability to repair the cracks in the bridge, but it will take time," Shuan said. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

"Not only that, there are other creatures inside the river too," Sylas said as he crossed his arms and sensed the river.

"Inside the river too!" Major Kyle also exclaimed and used his senses to probe the river, but his senses couldn’t penetrate it.

"What should we do? Fight the mutated plants?" Leo asked.

Sylas frowned as he observed the vines.

"All of them are very strong. I can feel their energy," Serena said as she got out of the car. She had been looking after Dudu inside the car. After upgrading her strength, she could no longer feel oppression from the mutated plants. Before, when her strength was at a low level, she could barely breathe. But now she could face them and fight the mutated plants without feeling oppressed.

The mutated plants seemed to sense them as slowly all the vines coiled around the bridge started to move, slowly writhing against the bridge and making their way towards them.
