Alex suddenly opened his eyes and found himself standing in the same broken world that he had once seen in his dream when he first arrived at the church of wisdom.

There were familiar spatial cracks everywhere around him, and his body was in the form of a spirit, just like before.

His thoughts and his movements were ’slow,’ and everywhere around him was just a barren, destroyed wasteland.

Charred black ground and cracked sky with no flow of air or any sign of life, it was a scene perfectly depicting an apocalyptic destroyed world with no ’Hope’ or ’Future’ remaining.

Alex felt confused after he understood that he had appeared in that same dream again.

As even his thoughts were slow, it felt quite exhausting to think so much and worry about the various things in this place.

This mysterious place had appeared in his dream for the second time now, and just like before, everything felt very realistic, almost as if he was truly in this place in reality, and it wasn’t a dream at all.

If he didn’t remember that he had gone to sleep before coming here, Alex would have believed that his soul was summoned to this weird place in reality!

Thinking further, Alex realized that he was now in a fantasy world where any kind of bizarre thing was possible.

It was entirely possible that he wasn’t in a dream at all and was in fact in a real place with only his soul.

Alex wondered whether only his soul could travel to this destroyed world for some reason, due to which he can only access it in his sleep or something like that.

There was no way to find any possible answer for this matter right now, but Alex did make many speculations based on what usually happens in those famous novels and manga.

The most intriguing thing was that, unlike this time, he seems to have moved past those spatial cracks blocking his way towards that ancient ruin located far into the horizon.

It took Alex a lot of effort to turn back and confirm that the spatial cracks that were blocking him before were indeed behind him now that he had moved forward.

Last time when Alex was here, he had expressed the wish to move towards that distant ancient ruin located far away, and according to his wish, he managed to move forward, bypassing the spatial cracks blocking his way.

In a world where you can do almost anything as long as you keep following your ambitions and dreams, Alex had no reason to back down, and he was very motivated to investigate this mysterious phenomenon.

Alex tried to move his body forward by stepping forward, but he found that he couldn’t move forward or backward at all.

He could only rotate on one spot and couldn’t move in any directions at all.

Just when Alex was getting confused, he felt his body starting to fade away, and the connection to this strange place seemed to have started to weaken once again.

Alex sat up on his bed with incredible speed, almost as if he had just woken up from a very terrible nightmare!

After calming his beating heart down, Alex noticed that he was covered in cold sweat from head to toe and his clothes were covered in sweat.

"What was that strange dream?..."

A look of confusion and bewilderment appeared on Alex’s handsome face as he got up from his bed to get ready for his morning training.

It was already morning outside, and the first rays of sunlight were lighting up his room by passing through the window.

’I will have to investigate about it in the grand library today... there might be something related to that mysterious place...’
